Clearly, it did not go well and the provider was not professional at all. They had our address before hand and could have very well declined to come and look at it if his company did not want to do work in our neighborhood. We live in a great area and we take great care of our home. It's just 110 years old and we need some back porch work.

owner
is a fraudulent owner. I hired
owner
, two months ago and paid him for brick because he said it had to be ordered. He was to also install the brick and we both signed a contract for $1,100. He gave me 2 references which checked out but later I discovered his contractor license was not valid and he left his previous business in
Park Colorado on bad terms. Mr.
cashed the check the day I gave it to him but in the subsequent days he gave me the run around and never delivered the brick. I took off work the day he was to deliver the brick and confirmed with him that day that he was on his way but he just never showed up. He deceived me a second time a few weeks later in asking me to come to his home at 102 Holly Point, Pass Christian, MS, to pick up the brick but he never showed up. He is a convincing liar. He does not return my phone calls to resolve the situation. The police department advised me since the value of his fraud exceeds $500, he has committed a felony.

After interviewing six contractors for my project, a complete renovation of a single family home, I chose
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
based on reviews from this site and on the fact that he was the most professional, prompt and engaging contractor I met. After meeting with him and agreeing to a contract, work began within days on the property. The first seven weeks of a two month projected project went very smoothly and communication was without hitches. I then went out of town for 10 days and was told that the project would be completed upon my return. When i came back in town, the project was not completed, in fact it was far from it. This however, is understandable because the project, given mold, termite and structural issues, was much larger than initially anticipated. The house is now completed and looks wonderful beyond my expectations, with
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew paying attention to all my wishes and even taking care with minute details within the house. As in any business relationship, communication is key, which is my only grievance on this project with
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
; and communication only became strained upon my return to town and in the last few weeks as we neared completion. This grievance is two-sided however, as this was my first renovation project and it became clear quickly that I had a lot to learn.
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
took the time to meet with me countless times throughout the project and offered advice, guidance and explanations at every turn. Overall, I am extremely happy with the outcome of the house and with

,
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
(my property manager) and his crew.
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
had a vision of what the house could be from the beginning and he delivered absolutely. I would, without a second thought, recommend
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
for any construction needs. I know I will certainly work with him again in the future.

We can't recommend them strongly enough.

's prices were very fair. They were honest about how long before they could do the job for us and then fit us in earlier. Not only did they replace a joist for us but shimmed two others to make sure the porch slope was correct. They replaced two very difficult pieces of siding for us. They also made us aware of other issues that we will need to address in the future. We can't say enough about how honest, helpful, affordable and responsive
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
were for us.

I never heard of this business. I never contacted them. Somehow Angie's List thinks I should write a review about them. That's ridiculous. Are other reviews on Angie's List written by people who were barraged by
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
to write reviews even though they never used the business? I understand why
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
wants people to write reviews. In my area almost no local business is covered by
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. So they need to get people from other states to make up reviews. Its all bogus, apparently. DO NOT POST THIS REVIEW! ITS FOR

USE ONLY.

What can I say?! This is a very professional company. They did so much work underneath the house, much more than I expected or was outlined in the bid. They were very courteous, considerate and respectful in their interactions and dealings with us.

(sales) was very patient with me with the amount of time (1 year) that I took to make a decision to finally have the work done after receiving the estimate and my many questions. During that time he would periodically check in with me to see how things were going in that respect. I think that I would have never had the work done had he not been so persistent! I had had some work done on the foundation years before that left me terrified of dealing with contractors so it took some effort to be able to trust anyone again. Mr
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
(company owner) was extremely professional, personable and concerned with my satisfaction as a customer. He came to the house several times to see how things were going. I felt that he took a genuine interest and advised me in the best possible manner. He told me that he treats every house that he works on as if it were his own house and I believe it.

(foreman) really took care of me. He worked around my schedule-1 week on/1 week off -night shift. The job was disrupted by our vacation but he and his crew picked right up after we came back. They were very considerate of me.

went above and beyond on the job. His motto seems to be "don't worry, I will take care of it." And he always did! As a woman, I always felt safe around him and his crew as well. There was a concern that if the floors were to be leveled perfectly that there would be damage to the fireplace at the back of the house so we decided to stop at this point but there is always that option available to us in the future. The floor is as level as it could be in an old house without doing more damage to the walls and it is very stable and strong enough to

down ceramic tile which we will be doing in the near future. I had a friend who is a master carpenter (European trained and who does this kind of work) inspect their work afterwards and she was impressed with the amount of work that was done.

I had a backsplash removed and it left a large whole in the wall. I called
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and asked if he could have someone install new drywall the next day. He said that he could and the job was done well and at a reasonable price. I will use

in the future.

Original contract stated 5 weeks to complete. Project took 6 months to get to an occupancy permit. We made some changes but not enough to delay the project this much. Many of our changes were requested because anything vague in the original contract was interpreted in
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's favor. don't sign a contract with
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
unless every tiny detail is written into the contract. We neglected to make sure that verbal statements made by
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
were also included in the contract - word for word. The concrete work was done well. Repair and refinishing of some wood floors was better than average. All other subcontractors used by
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
were fair to poor. We are currently having the roof repair redone by a different service provider because the repairs we paid for through
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
were shoddy at best. So we are paying twice for this repair. We have been fixing plumbing and electrical problems since we moved in after spending thousands to have these things updated.
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was friendly and responsive and understands the permitting system but that doesn't make up for lousy subcontractors. One employee of the electric sub was excellent but we only saw him when he was here to fix something that we found was done poorly the first time around.

The job went a little longer than expected and I found some workmanship issues after they left. I sent a letter to E.C.O. expressing my issues and expecting them to be fixed.
I was contacted buy E.C.O. buy phone to set up a appointment to resolve these issues at my convenience.
The work was completed to my satisfaction.
Here are some of the issues:
: Caulking at bottom of doors incomplete or not done correctly.
: Molding not lined up at corner or not cut properly to floor molding.
: Scratched sideing at outlet opening on back house.

New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the manager that I did all the pricing and contracting stuff with, and
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was my on-site job manager.

They were just fantastic -- communicated well, showed up when they said they would (or called if something prevented it), everyone was pleasant and polite, and they cleaned up after themselves. There's no way construction isn't going to be disruptive, but they tried to minimize as much as possible. Every Friday afternoon they took down their scaffolding and set it off to the side, staked their stuff neatly, and swept the walks, so that I could at least enjoy my yard over the weekends. I let them use a bathroom right inside my front door, and if I hadn't known, I would never have guessed there were up to 5 guys using that bathroom every day -- except for the extra toilet paper and cleaning supplies stacked on the counter, stuff they brought and used (they were neat all the time & gave the bathroom a good cleaning before leaving on Fridays too).

Most importantly, I couldn't be more pleased with the work they did. They clearly want to do everything right, and take real pride in doing solid attractive work. A great example was my dog door: my siding and windows contract didn't specify anything special about the dog door, and the one I had was serviceable even if the frame was a bit cracked -- but
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
just wouldn't have been ok with leaving a ratty old dog door in the beautiful facade he was constructing. So he went and got a new one, trimmed it to match the window trims, and even added a little overhang to keep rain out! (I had a fixed contracted price for the overall job, little niceties like that in the detail work on site didn't add any cost to me). The concrete work included a sidewalk that was horribly buckled by the roots of my large oak tree. Before
New Orleans Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
would write up a plan for that, he brought out a licensed arborist, to look at the tree and determine how much the roots could be cut back without damaging the whole tree. They obviously cared about doing work that would last, and not fall apart or cause collateral damage after they'd left.
The whole house looks beautiful, I get so many compliments on it now! I've really just got nothing but good things to say about them. They're probably not going to be the cheapest, but they're reliable, considerate, and do great work.
