came and assessed the house to determine which entrance would "fit"
the best. She and her employees laid down blankets and plywood sheets to protect my new hardwood floor from damage. The room ...more
was being move into was a tight fit, but she and the crew worked carefully and it was in place exactly where I wanted it to be. Two weeks later she made an appointment with me and returned to tune
. It sounds wonderful!! "

"Amazing! I had stressed about having to move my piano ever since I bought my new home because it is so old and is falling apart, but it is part of my childhood and has great sentimental value to my family and I. They quickly replied to my request for ...more a quote, worked me in on the day I wanted to move it, showed up exactly on time, and instantly put my nerves at ease with their reassurance that they knew what they were doing. They were very gentle in putting the piano on their moving cart and got out the door, down the stairs, and into their truck by means that looked effortless to me. They then strapped it down so that it wouldn't move in transit and then got it into my new home in a matter of minutes. It is such a relief to have it moved into my home and I will definitely call them in the future if I need to move it again. Thank you so much for helping me!!! "

Sample Piano Movers Reviews
"We have an antique baby grand player piano. It has beautiful wood finish, delicate legs amd is extremely heavy due to the antique player mechanism. The piano movers did an excellent job both on the removal and return -- safeguarding the piano and our newly refinished walnut floors.
"I needed to have an upright player piano moved from my house to storage on a specific date. I sent an email and was answered very quickly and arrangements were made to move the piano. The movers arrived on time and were very polite and efficient. The piano was moved very professionally and the whole thing took about 30-45 minutes. I would definitely ...more recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again when I am able to move the piano back to my new house (where there will be room for it). "
"I was considering buying a used baby grand from my friend's mother. I called
for a quote; they had a specific list of info they needed, which made it easy to get an estimate of 550-600. One of the factors they consider is how many steps they'll have to go up or down-- I couldn't guarantee the number of steps ...more at the
house, since I'd only seen it once, but that's why they had to quote a range.
After I agreed to buy the piano I called
to book a date; they had been very clear that it might be 7-10 business days before they could schedule a move, but were able to schedule it for the end of that week. They had a very clear contact system: they would call both me & my friend first thing on moving day (around 8-9am), and tell my friend the 2-hr window for pick-up, and tell me the 2-hr window for delivery. They would also call each of us about 10-15 min away so we'd be ready.
Everything happened as promised. They were closer to the end of the delivery window than the beginning, but that wasn't surprising since it was a 2-hr drive, partly through Fri rush hour. They had a little trouble getting it through the doorway into our music room, because it's 4 steps down from the garage to the door, but that was my fault for not measuring it-- I only counted the steps. They realized immediately that it wouldn't clear if they slid it on skids, and changed to actually carrying it down. This wasn't a problem since they had 3 guys on the job. They put it back together quickly (you have to remove the lid, legs, and pedal lyre) and settled it into the exact spot I wanted. I thought they did a super job on all counts! "
"They were a little late to arrrive, but placed the
in their truck OK. When moving it into the other residence a screw had fallen out that held the top on the piano. Rather than replacing the screw, they took a paperclip and slid it in, in a makeshift way. I would have preferred they had handled the
...more so that the screw had not fallen out of the top or they should have replaced the screw. Otherwise, they did a good job. No walls were marred in the removal or move in.They were a friendly couple , but could have left their dog home. "
"This company did what they said they would do. I called, they quoted a cost based on estimated time, and we scheduled the appointment. The cost they charge is by the hour from when they head out and till they get back, and they came from Seattle to
Lake. I was fine with the cost because I wanted professional piano mover for my ...more Krakaure Baby Grand. They called and came when expected, did a great fast job, and did it within the quoted price.
love it when you expect a good job and you get what you expected. "
was hired by a neighbor of mine to move a piano from her house into mine. Before the move she described where the piano was to go in my house (the basement) and the difficulty in getting around the side of the house into the basement. She was told that this would not be a problem. She asked them to come and look at my house ...more and the access to make sure, but was told that was not necessary.
showed up at my house with the piano and the movers told me that they could not get the piano into my basement since access on one side was too steep and on the other side too narrow. We talked about going through my neighbors yard, but the movers seemed rushed and did not want to consider that option. Instead they moved the piano upstairs. I did not want it upstairs since I have very little room and I had already moved furniture in the basement to make room for the piano downstairs. My friend could not take the piano back as she was getting ready for a move.
If we had known in advance that
could not move it into the basement, then we could have made other plans for the piano or hired someone else. Instead we were reassured that it would not be a problem. It was a problem and
could not help us come up with a solution. Instead they gave us two choices: move the piano into my upstairs or move it back to my neighbors house (and it would cost more to move it back). So now the piano is upstairs and I have to find (and pay) another piano mover to move it downstairs. The
movers seemed rushed and were not at all apologetic about the fact that they did not do what they were hired to. I would not recommend them. "
many years ago, but had forgotten how efficient they were! Everything went perfectly. The young men that arrived to move the piano were extremely quick and professional about the entire move. They then followed me on the 90+ mile trip to my new home and quickly and carefully moved the piano into its alloted ...more space. I will also add that it was quite cold (January), but they didn't flinch about the temperature and gave advice for the piano's immediate care following its very cold journey! I will always recommend them! "
on several occasions. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She requested photos of the radiators to be moved, as well as the house, in order to get me an accurate estimate. I was told they had a technology failure and that caused a delay in getting an estimate. Then there was apparently a mix up with ...more my estimate and someone else's radiator move estimate. This caused me to not receive an estimate for many more days than anticipated. I called and left a couple of messages, no return call. When I was finally able to wrestle an estimate out of
, it was more than twice what a highly recommended competitor bid. The process was frustrating and I ended up canceling the appointment just three days before the move because it was too much money. It would have been a lot easier to know up front what the cost was going to be, BEFORE I gave
