"Job was performed completely and to my satisfaction. They left the bill with mail in envelop attached to my front door know. They did not damage anything as far as I could see.

-Erik N.

"Very disappointed with the complete absence of customer service. and concern. No basic courtesy to call, to set up an appointment & inform me of their plans," to introduce themselves, to find out about my property & discuss or describe service. Similarly, upon their unannounced arrival, even though I happened to be home with my car in the driveway, no one bothered to ring the doorbell to let me know they were here. According to the invoice they left behind, they spent 7 minutes between 2:33pm - 2:40pm and, they supposedly treated the "entire yard" of my 40x100 ft property! They were neither seen nor heard during their flash visit! Why bother with a Big Deal that is negative advertising, promotes bad service & gives no reason to anyone to seek
, except in order to avoid them? I would not seek or recommend their service in any way in the future.

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

Lawn Treatment reviews in New Orleans

They were great in doing the quote and left details of what each treatment would do. They also left a plan of action on how they would attack the yard to bring it to a healthy state. They never once pressured for the sale or pushed to get payment before the work was even done. They came and did the first pass of many, left a sign in the yard to stay off the grass and the quote in the door to make payment! 100% satisfied with the level of service and treatment!

sprayed the solution on the lawn then soon after the grass started to die. Now the

and back yard is dead. They admitted to mistake and want to reseed the lawn which requires constant maintenance of water and we have a well and my mother who lives their is 82 and cannot be in heat. I have talked to

a couple times about this and told him watering is a problem and they have yet to come up with a solution and the lawn is getting worse everyday. I had to call corporate today to try and get the general manager to call me as he keeps having this

I emailed for an estimate because a friend uses this company to control weeds in their lawn. They did reply with a quote but it was about $20 more than my friend pays. They said the cost is more because I have a bigger yard. I told them we don't have much grass at all because of a pool, playset, shed, dog run and extended driveway. The person who referred me has more grass than i do. They never replied to that so apparently they arent interested in getting my business or looking at my lawn. Poor way to handle a potential new customer.

Excellent service. They are on time very professional and clean up after they are done. Lawn was in sorry shape when they started in early spring but now looks great! I've used other national service providers in the past but none were even close to the professionals from Brookside. Give them my highest recommendation.
- Dennis K.

Always a great job! He spreads the nutrients, repellents, etc. with a motorized spreader which takes about 1/2 hour. Always friendly & respectable. The only thing that I find annoying is when they call and ask to do aeration of the lawn because all I want is that they do the above and nothing more. Other than that I'm very happy with their service and have no complaints.
I highly recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a reputable lawn care company.
- Diana R.

The company thoroughly explained their treatment and process, and made sure they kept in contact to set up application dates. Later, the technician taking care of my lawn for the future came to inspect my lawn to see how the first treatment was taking. They have been extremely professional and friendly, and I can already tell a difference in my lawn after only 1 treatment (and my lawn needs a lot of help!). I would recommend this company to anyone!

So far like I said earlier this is the best service we've had since moving to FL. I also mentioned we found this service through our mower, who is also the absolute best mower service we've had. BTW our mower is Clips Lawn Care and they were and still should be on Angie's list. It's where I found him, a great guy also named

. What makes this vendor relationship great for us is what happened today and what prompted my review.
New Orleans Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
our mower guy came Friday afternoon as usual. I was out running errands but knew he had been by. The lawn, walks and beds looked as perfect as ever. This morning

the sprayer guy came by. He rang the bell to tell me that
New Orleans Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
the mower guy had texted him over the weekend to mention he was concerned about some sod worms in
my neighbor’s lawn that were likely to infest mine. So
New Orleans Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
the spray guy was here to do some preventive spraying for that and mentioned he would be by next week on schedule to do the every other month maintenance. Man it just doesn't get any better and easier than that.
We all spend a lot of money trying to keep a nice looking lawn. My wife will tell ya I complain about it every year. "We spent all this money last year and our little patch of grass looks like this?" What a waste. Well not anymore. Now we get compliments from our neighbors which helps make us feel the money is well spent. What a pleasure not having to come home to see a lawn filled with brown patches and weeds and then also not having to have to clean up after the mower guys when they finished blowing all the clippings under your garage door and leaving the other half on your walkways and beds.
We feel lucky to have found two great vendors.

The job went great. They turned a disaster into the prettiest lawn on the block. The retaining wall is beautiful as well. We really enjoyed working with Mr.
