New Orleans Internists Reviews

"Wow. One of the most disorganized doctor appointment's I've ever had. First of all his nurse is AMAZING. Not disorganized at all. His nurse was probably one of the top 2 nurses I've ever come in contact with. So kind and so clear! He was another story. He was REALLY nice. He was funny. And probably a great doctor. But it was weird. He left the room 5 times to deal with other problems. He wanted to do a chest xray- but we never got it done. I think he forgot, and I didn't remind him- I just wanted to end the whole ordeal. He wasn't sure what was wrong with me and gave me a sort of- whatever diagnosis. But, I am young, so that's a standard doctor response. He took time with me, but talked about himself a lot. I don't know. Just a weird experience. I can't say I don't recommend him, but my one appointment was just- chaos. I felt like I got sucked into a hurricane. If you have
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
problems, I'd probably recommend him because his nurse (the one you will really deal with in the long run) was so so so great. And again, it wasn't like he didn't know what he was doing he was just... really scattered.

".I give and (A++) to the sports medicine department. I had a follow up appointment from an illness I contacted while on a cruise ship. I got off the cruise ship and went into the hospital. I was there for five day and was discharged. This was the follow up visit to make sure everything was ok. I love them, but I will go back to the VA Hospital after it's rebuilt in 2013, but I make keep some of the physicians that I've accumulated over the last five years at this hospital because they are really wonderful."

"Dr
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
is friendly and I really like him. He listens to you and spends time with you. If has a recommendation for you and you don't like it he has a discussion with you. He always leaves it up you to make the final decision. Another Dr. recommended him and I have been using him for 10 years."

"He is excellent! He is very caring and takes a lot of time with us. The receptionists are very welcoming and will always work to squeeze us into the schedule when needed. I have even called him at home at night during an emergency. Any medication that I need when I run out, he makes sure to call the pharmacy right away for me. He is a very nice doctor."

"My internist referred me to Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
Glade for a
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
issue. I waited nearly two months for the appointment. When I got there I found myself in the smallest waiting room I have ever been in along with eight other people and two people sitting in wheelchairs with their oxygen tanks sitting in the hallway. After I had been there two hours past my appointment time, I asked the people there who they were waiting for and for how long. One of the ladies in the wheelchair had been waiting for five hours. Another had been there over four hours. I needed to get back to work, so I went to the desk where I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. I, in turn, asked if this was the norm. She said it was and that Dr
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
always double books. When I said that I did not think this was the place for me, a young nurse behind the receptionist said, "Whatever!" with major attitude. I was too shocked to reply and just walked out. NO DOCTOR is so good that he should get away with treating people that way.

"Dr
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
is very dry and reserved, but listens actively and asks good questions. Not the kind of guy you want to pour your heart out to, but seemingly careful and complete. If you have a specific concern and don't mind a slightly excessive number of tests, he's a good choice."

"But as bad as my experience over the weekend had been, my experience with Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
, however, was just that good. She saw me right away and, in sharp contrast to my experience at the hospital the day before, she was very willing to listen to me, and treat my own "assessment" as credible, rather than dismissing it categorically. She readily acknowledged that, even though I am not a physician, myself, (or scientifically trained in any way, shape or form), I do know my own body quite well. (We have been "together" for 39 years, after all.) And this was all while displaying obvious concern and compassion. She is extremely easy to talk to and, all things considered, has one of the best bedside manners that I have come across. She is clearly concerned only with what is best for the patient, rather than what is best for her ego, and that is seems to be all to rare, these days, in the medical community. That is not to say I have not had positive physician experiences before, I have. But my experience at Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
's office was one of the best. And, ultimately, it was only after my visit to her office, during which I recieved shots and a prescription for anti-nausea medicine that dissolved in your mouth, and therefore did not have to be swallowed (which meant I did not have to, then, put up another futile fight to keep the medicine that I was given because I could not keep anything down, down...something that seems fairly obvious but that the hospital did not do). And on top of that, her staff was just as friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and downright personable as she was. The nurse was wonderful. She, too, addressed me with obvious compassion and respect, which goes a long way when you feel that bad. She also just generally seemed to enjoy what she was doing, and that almost always spills over and, naturally, improves that quality of your experience. All of the above, combined with the fact that she is efficient and knowledgeable, have made my experience with her as my primary care physician, incredibly positive and, even, refreshing.

"Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
is a physician I have seen for several years. I have referred several people to her because I trust her and know she is listening to me. She takes her time and is very thorough. She communicates easily with me and is easy to get in touch with when I need follow up. There are not a lot of physicians like her anymore and I really appreciate her."

"I found Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
to be an exceptional listener and communicator. She trusted that the patient was knowledgeable about their own health and took their thoughts into consideration. It is hard to find such a doctor and I highly recommend her. Dr.
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
has moved from the
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
office into a new location. The
New Orleans Internists Provider Name Locked
billing service was horrendous. I have no knowledge of the current system she is using.

"She acts very friendly--which gave me the feeling I was getting good care--but she really isn't interested in what she does. She gives you your alloted time, 10 minutes, then makes it clear that "time is up."! It seems she has far too many patients. I suspect she is simply incompetent."
