Reviews for New Orleans Gutter Repair And Installation Companies

"The outcome is all I had hoped for and more. The contractor was concerned that I was satisfied with the job before he would take payment. There were add-ons in cost for unexpected problems (ie, rotten support columns) and my need to add to the job to ...more make it complete (ie replace doors) but no changes in the cost that were not agreed to by me. They even repaired a few things (ie my back screen door) without charge. The experience with this contractor could not have been better!! "

"Excellent professionalism and promptness. Cleaned-up at the end of each day! Some minor quality issues, but offered to redo the work or provide a credit on the cost.

New Orleans Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Reviews
"The estimator was here promptly at the time scheduled, I had an estimate before he left and all the information I needed to make a decision was given to me in the time he took to talk to me about the project. We did not choose them for the project but only because we had a larger scope of work we decided to do.
"This is the third time in less than 6 months that we have used Rik. I called about the piece of downspout that become unattached and asked that Rik come to give an estimate. He came exactly as scheduled the next day. He looked at the job, said he could repair it and reinstall the gutter piece right then in about an hour. The job was finished on ...more time and he went so far as to improve and solidify the attachment to the house. This man takes pride in what he does, works flawlessly, and actually improves upon whatever issue he has resolved for us. I cannot recommend him more highly to anyone who looks at these reviews."
"They were terrific. Did the gutter work quickly and on time, and took all the trash, etc., with them at the end. The roof vent was a hard job, and
came back a couple of times (at no extra charge to me) to get the job right. He finally discovered a cut in the roof that was letting the water in, and he repaired it. All together ...more a great job. I'm very satisfied and recommend them without reservations. "
"They were punctual, gave a fair estimate and did the work on time (rather quickly I must say). The roof job has never needed re-repair and seems very solid. The gutters however had birds bathing in them after the first rain. The low section of the run was placed about 2 meters from the nearest down spout and water always gathered there and stayed. ...more Downspouts were clear, everything else was fine, but the gutters did not do the job. I called them 2-3 weeks later, and they said they would come and check it out. I never heard from them again.
I recently had my house painted and the gutters along that side of the house collapsed under the painters' ladders. I complained to the painters but they said that the gutters were completely rusted through due to standing water. At this point I have no recourse, and I am partly to blame for not pressing Progressive to fix this problem in the first place. So if you go with them, make sure you stick on them and get the job completed to your full liking. "
workers removed the old gutters from our old, two-story home during the process of house painting. They provided good quality samples of the fixed-color extruded gutters which enabled us to color match the house to the gutters perfectly - even with two different colors needed, most for the body of the house, some for the trim. ...more The installation by the work team was followed by the quality control 'big guns' the next day and adjusting improvements were made willingly. The final install of the new cove molding is scheduled for three days from now with $200 final payment held back till then; no problems are expected. While our original contact was

"The company started a bit earlier than they had originally stated, which was a good thing. They completed the job in two days and I experienced a minimum of inconvenience while they were working. On the last day, I came home to find quite a bit of debris left over from the job. I was concerned about this and called the company. It was past their business ...more hours, so I left a message expecting to hear back in the morning. To my surprise, they called me back right away and assured me that the remaining debris would be removed the next day after the owner did his final inspection. Sure enough, he came by in the morning, looked over the work and cleared away the leftover materials. Overall, I'd say I'm pleased with the results and would call on them again for other projects."
"Initially, they said that they were going to be able to do everything I needed plus a roof upgrade and that I would not have to pay a deductible. This was also told to me by another company I received an estimate from.
He took the interior work, which was already done, and the gutter replacement, which was not necessary, against my deductible. ...more />
The estimate he gave me was much higher than what my insurance company wanted to pay, and he told me not to worry about it and he would get them to increase the amount. He said they hadn't included money for a lot of the damage which was done by the storm.
He began the work on the roof. After starting the work, he came to me with a contract stating that prior to any work being done he would contact the insurance company to negotiate the amount to be paid. This didn't make sense to me because he had already started the work. He told me he needed money from me for the work he had done, and I refused since we had not yet signed a contract and I wanted to make sure my insurance company would accept the cost.
He spoke with my insurance company and they had rough negotiations. The insurance company raised the amount of money to meet his recommendations. I thought everything was going great. After he completed the work, the insurance company came out and inspected his work before releasing the first payment. I signed the first payment, $4000, over to him. The inspector wanted the gutters to be replaced, so I verified with him before allowing him to do the gutters that I would not have to pay any more money or the deductible. He told me "Yes."
I signed the second payment over to him. Prior to giving final payment he needs to finish all of the work. When he finishes it, then the insurance company will release the final check. He is now telling me he needs more money and I need to pay him more. He is asking me to pay the $2500 deductible. I told him no way, he confirmed with me twice that I would not have to pay it. He said his company would pay $1000 towards it if I could pay the rest. He presented me with paperwork that I would pay the $1500 within 3 months at a 12% interest rate. I declined.
Now, he is threatening to put a lean on my house because I can't pay him the money he told me twice I didn't need to pay. He is also stating he will not finish the work."
is great to deal with - all contractors and office personel are very professional and polite. I never had a request that was impossible to handle. All employees made me feel like their most important customer and were very involved with how I thought the job was going and my feelings upon its completion. Although I sing their ...more praises, I still often get multiple quotes for a job and there have been times where
has admitted that they think another company is giving me a steal. They are very honest about their prices and if they think you should go with another contractor, they'll tell you and they won't try to push anything. I find this very respectable as not a lot of companies will do this. I've already recommended
