"We have a Queen

house uptown which had not painted in a long time. We were delighted to meet Mr. Kannish of
New Orleans Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
who was the contractor. Mr. Kannish was knowledgeable, passionate and extremely dedicated. He guided us through the process of painting, describing the properties of paint and which he would use in different areas of our house. He also pointed out architectural details and ways to make them prominent. He was always on site with his crew and available to answer any questions and also to discuss new ideas that he envisioned during the course of the work. His enthusiasm was shared by his crew who were very hardworking with no

in energy. They were determined to do the best job possible and were flexible so that they could meet any demands of the job. In our case, our next door neighbor had left town and rented his house out to a film crew who worked at night which made accessibility to that side of the house a challenge given our close proximity and their need for privacy. The painters were diligent in being as quiet as possible not to disturb the tenants next door--working with no radios and not speaking loudly. They also adjusted the work schedule to accommodate accessibility schedules given by the tenants. Our painters were pretty amazing and we were very grateful for their wonderful work. Mr. Kannish provided everything in the contract and more!

Finding a contractor for lead paint removal

Angie’s List member Steve T. of San Diego hired highly rated Paintgreen to remove lead paint from his garage. He says company owner, John Ray, “was patient and went over and beyond to make sure all work was done to the letter of the law.” (Photo courtesy of Steve T.)

Millions of homes built before 1978 still contain lead paint. EPA guidelines now mandate safe cleaning practices for lead paint removal, but not all contractors follow the rules.

"
New Orleans Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
is a good guy to work with. He works alone for the most part so the job takes a long time. Finish coat was good, but prep work was sometimes weak. Prep work (removing loose paint, sanding, priming, etc.) was poor in several areas, and the finish coat was applied before I could inspect. Consequently I have a $16,000 paint job that is already flaking in some areas, just months after completion. Because of extensive business travel I was not able to supervise the job very closely. On occasion when I was able to say something,
New Orleans Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
was resistant and grudging in taking corrective measures. To be fair,
New Orleans Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
is a nice enough guy, there were no questions about his honesty and he worked hard on the job from start to finish. I had no qualms about leaving him alone at the house, and wouldn't have any worries today. He worked without making a mess, cleaned up after himself and charged exactly what he said he would. My ONLY complaint is the quality of the prep work and how resistant he was on those few occasions when I was able to catch it. For $16,000 my house shouldn't be flaking already, less than 1 year after completion.
