a few issues came up that we had not thought about, like replacing the old hanging lights.....
it is obvious that this company does excellent work and has its priorities geared to excellent work and customer service. in the scheme of things, this was a small job, but we never got that impression from either

Bottom line - A shady, unprofessional crew who does poor work and stole from at least this client. Stay away.

a junction box under our house where the old box was. The original work was
done economically and quickly. ...more /> In 2013 we had a contract on our house and during the
inspection, there were some minor electrical things that needed addressing; two
of which were directly tied to the job done in 2006. I contacted
and sent them the information from the inspection report. I asked that they fix
the two things tied to the original job for free, and to give me a bid for the
remaining work so that the trip out wouldn’t be a total loss for them. The bid
I received only included fixing one of the original problems for free,
contained errors on the number of things that I needed done and was outrageous
($1000 to install some GCFI outlets, put bad splicing in junction boxes, and
reverse the polarity on a plug). After an email exchange, I received an updated
bid with the errors corrected; still only one thing fixed for free, and the
price had not changed. I was told I would need to speak with the owner if I had
questions about the original job.
I found the owner very cordial on the phone. He explained
that he didn’t include the second piece of work because he couldn’t believe his
workers would have been that sloppy. When I insisted that no one else had
worked on electrical work at my house he told me, “Well, you’ll find I’m a man
of my word and if it turns out we did that, I’ll fix it for free.”
That evening I went under the house and filmed where the
faulty work was and how it was tied into the junction box
installed. I uploaded the video and sent a link to the sales representative I
had been dealing with. The next morning (Friday) I sent an email to make sure
they could view the video. On Monday, I followed up with a voice mail to the
owner. As of this writing, it has been a month and I have not had any response.
Because we had a contract on the house, I had to pay to have all the work done.
The electrician I hired to work through the punch list did everything,
including the work Rains should have done for free, for $400, and it passed the
final walk through.
I feel that
knowing I was on a time crunch, avoided returning my calls because it would
have cost them money to do the right thing.
