"Initially very excited about project with agreement would take about one month to complete. However 5 months later still not completed. The work they have done is beautiful and we are satisfied. What has been frustrating is the time and delays we endured. It seemed each time we would pay them for the work done would not see them again until we started to call and wonder if they were going to finish. Currently two of our trees that were planted have died. They have not returned phone calls or the certified letter we sent asking for the trees to be replace. Very, very frustrating. Had initially been prepared to have them complete upper sections of our yard but will not continue with them because of lack of responding to our requests."

"He showed up, took a look at it and promised to deliver an estimate to me over the weekend. He never came back with the estimate. I had to hire another company since this was an emergency. With the wall gone I needed a way to keep the ground from shifting and causing problems for my house and yard. About a month later, he called me back and asked if I still needed work done. My answer was of course "no" since the other contractor I hired had already completed the work. I wouldn't have had an issue if he had told me he couldn't take on the job or even if he had called back in a reasonable amount of time to say he couldn't take the job. But to promise an estimate and to not follow through on it is a problem. It is especially disturbing since I selected him from Angie's List out of all the other choices. I was just going to let this slide, but I feel it is only right to report this information since this is what Angie's List is for."

"I got design proposals from this and one other company. This design was much more innovative and eye-catching, and addressed some specific challenges for this house, it's placement on the lot, and existing landscape. The price was much higher than the other company but we loved the design and were impressed by their portfolio of complete projects. We were given advance notice of the specific crew that was to do the work. The project manager was on site most days and easily reachable; this should be a big consideration for any potential customer because I have had projects in the past in which getting hold of the contractor and getting them to return phone calls was a big frustration. The materials and workmanship were first rate; they responded quickly to last minute "tweaks," and they worked steadily every day until the project was finished. A concern did arise about the quality of the flooring which they acknowledged and agreed to address after it has more time to weather."
