Nashville Home Inspectors Reviews

"Ultra Sound provided an excellent home inspection. While the home is a new build, the inspector certainly found occurances which have to be addressed by the builder. Moreover, the inspector took time to review the inspection with my fiance who is new to the home buying/building process. I would definetly recommend Ultra Sound.

did an outstanding job on our home inspection. As first time homebuyers (of an older home) we were very stressed out (and clueless) about the whole process.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
spent 4 1/2 hours inspecting every inch of the home with my husband and explaining everything he was reviewing in detail and in a way that he could understand. Within 24 hours we got a 33 page detailed inspection report that was easy to read (with lots of pictures) highlighting everything that needed to be repaired, maintained or replaced. Every phone call and email was returned promptly. We could not be more pleased with our choice for a home inspector. His price was higher than some of the other quotes we received, but it was well worth it for the quality of his work and our confidence in his report and our home purchase.
"My inspection was done 5/2/13 at 2pm. My agent and I were both here. Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
had a worker with him. The inspection did not
take very long and when he was finished he said "This place is solid and in good condition, better than the other place I
inspected for you". I moved into my home, May 29th and for the next 2 weeks tried to get settled. I noticed several things wrong.
I had several of the electrical outlets with no covers, open and some with wires hanging out. I had a 8x12 hole in the wall in the
storage room with the 4x4 showing. I had a leak in the downstairs cold water faucet and the toilet would run off and on. Upstairs
my tub was partially stopped up and when showering I stood in water to my ankles. I had a leak in one of the sinks and a leak
in the toilet water tank that I put a bucket under until the plumber come to catch the drip. I had a space behind the tub faucet
and shower head that did not even touch the tile and water was leaking behind when taking a shower and there was no seal
with any seal to prevent this. The disposal was loud when running and
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Plumbing found a wash rag tangled up in the blades
and after removing that there was no noise. I spent alot of money on all the above repairs that was not mentioned by Mr.

The worst of all is after being in my home for about two weeks, i felt the upstairs was not cooling as well as the downstairs.
I went down and thought maybe I needed to replace the filter. When I opened the door where the hearing and air unit was and I
looked down, the unit was surrounded by water mold and mildew. The walls had mold and mildew and the filer was so covered
I could not even see the filter. I called
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Heating and Air and being a Happy
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Member, they made an emergency call. I was told the unit was old and they could not guarantee they could fix the unit and even if they could they did not know how long it
would work. The unit was the original from 1984 and it is mentioned in my inspection of the age and also in the sellers report
the age. It was recommended in the sellers report for possible replacement. She refused to do that. When Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
said it was
ok but aged I went along with that. There is no mention of mold and mildew on his report. I had to buy a new heating and
air conditioner and compressor outside, because the unit had mold and mildew inside of it and the floor it was sitting on was
rotted. I had to had the sub flooring replaced and sprayed not once but twice. Serpro and Service Master had to spray and then
Service Master had to sand down the sub floor in the crawl space to the healthy wood. It covered an area of 9x12. I had to have
the contractor rebuild by floor, and put in new baseboards and quarter round. I still have an area of dry rot to the sub flooring that
has to be fixed. It has been sprayed and is dry and is ok for now. I had to have the pvc piping rebuild to the air condition and the
drain under the crawlspace extended out from under the house. Pictures were taken of everything and are being filed with a
report of what Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did not report. I had 3 companies inspect this and each took pictures and the professional opinion
of each company was the same. No one could understand why he did not report this. It took months or years for this floor
condition to develop this way. It was not just 2-3 weeks that I had been here. If my inspection would have been done properly
to protect me, I would have never bought this place nor would my agent let me buy it. I was forced into buying a new heat/air
because of the filth and the health condition that I was breathing and living in. If I had know this I would not have bought this
and therefore would not have had to spend the money on the new unit. I hold Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
responsible. I called and tried to talk
with him and reason with him and asked for his help. He was not interested and said "if you want to
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
me bring it on" That
at the time was not even in the conversation but I could tell he was not going to do anything to correct this or help me and I
was right. HE HAS DONE NOTHING. My agent said to notify you Angie and the BBB which I am doing. I am getting all my
cost and papers together. We all make mistakes, there is no one perfect and there is forgiveness in situations, but he could
have cared less about me or what I have had to do and the cost. I will never recommend him and I have told many many people
and will continue to do so. How can you do business with someone who you felt was taking care of you and then this happens.
He certainty got his money and he left me hanging. I have spent just under $10,000.00 and I had only been in my home 8 weeks.
A very bad and costly experience. My mortgage company is not recommending either. I had a very bad experience.

"as soon as we purchased the Angie's List Deal of the Day they called to schedule our appointments. They were on time, very professional and thorough in competeing the tasks we had hired them for. We have not used any of their regularly proced services yet but would be inclined to consider if the need ever arises. The quality of work was acceptable and would lead us to reach out to the again to quote a service."
"As a first-time home buyer, it was imperative that I feel comfortable and able to trust my inspector, and I also wanted to ensure that the inspection was a learning experience for me. I took fourteen pages of notes and learned about things far beyond aesthetics. I wholeheartedly recommend

"It went perfectly.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
is genuine, thorough, and knowledgable. I paid for a home inspection, and felt like I had taken a one day class. Excellent!!"
"My wife and I were buying a house built in the 1930's and needed a home inspector to evaluate the condition of the property. We found
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
and read the information on their website in detail. I sent an email to
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
via their website on a Monday morning and
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
promptly gave me a call later that day to discuss details. We scheduled an inspection for Friday at 10:30am. My wife and I met
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
on Friday and the inspection took between 2 and 2.5 hours. What we liked most about
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was that he was enthusiastic, professional, and genuinely interested in helping us understand how to maintain the property we were purchasing. He was technically savvy and had an electronic report ready for us to view later on Friday night. We had a fantastic experience working with
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did the inspection on 2 days notice. He showed up in the pouring rain and thoroughly inspected the house inside and out. The next day he emailed me the report!! It was very detailed and color coded to show the severity of the problems in the house (red- things that COULD NOT be overlooked). He then walked me through the report telling me the meaning and technical terms for everything within, hence I know nothing about contract work, codes, etc. I then forwarded the inspection on to the seller and had major items fixed. There was no access to the attic space, so he could not adequately inspect. The seller fixed several issues and added attic access and
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
returned and re-inspected. I received the re-inspection report THAT SAME NIGHT!! I can't say enough how great this experience was and how much it eased my mind on the condition of the house.
"When I called, I spoke to Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
, who was able to come out on fairly short notice (three days or so). He arrived at the house before my husband and I, and introduced himself to the build supervisor and started his outdoor inspection. When we arrived about five minutes later, we all went inside and began going through the house. Mr.
Nashville Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
went over everything, taking lots of pictures, and stopping frequently to show us things and give us tips on maintaining the house. He taught us about the breakers we had on several of the outlets (designed to protect against standing water electrocution). He gave us a book with guidelines for what to do to take care of the house. Also, he pointed out things he noticed that were high quality, or evidence of a job well done by the builders. My husband and I absolutely loved his work. We were extremely pleased with the inspection overall.
