"This place is horrible!!!!! They lie and over charge. The customer service is the absolute worst!!! After 15+ years of business they totally screwed us. They told us we had to have a wellness checkup before they would sell us flea protection. They refused to sell us one month supply until our next appointment, which would have been in a couple weeks. They also told us we had to have a prescription if we wanted to order the flea protection online. That was a bald face lie! I went home and ordered it online through PetMeds and it will be here in 2 days and less expense. Furthermore, years back, I brought my Airedale in because he couldn't keep his food down so they took an x-

and said he had an obstruction in his stomach and they had to do surgery. When they cut him open they found NOTHING!!!! Those idiots!!!! We had to pay over $800 for nothing. They said they read the x-

wrong. They still charged us the full price. Totally bogus! Airedale is happy and healthly no thanks to Funk Animal Hospital in Brooklyn Park, MN.

"Prompt scheduling, no long waits, reasonable prices, and Dr.
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
seems to really enjoy the animals. He and the vet techs spend as much time as needed to really examine our dog and they give great, honest treatment advice. Dr.
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
also takes the time answer all of my many (often absurd) questions. I would highly recommend this vet, especially for first-time pet owners."

"I have been pleased with the service provided by
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. We switched from our old vet for a number of reasons but an important factor is that they offered acupuncture which is very helpful for the back pain that my aging corgi-terrier mix suffers. We use Dr.
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and I have been really appreciative of the fact that they have never tried to push treatments we were not sure we could afford and they have been open minded when I havve wanted to try alternative medicine. We will continue to bring our pets to

"I brought in my two cats (one who has many behavioral issues) and my dog. A handful for almost anyone. We only had to wait a couple minutes in the waiting room before getting called into the exam room. The vet tech was very nice. We were kept waiting quite a while (15-17 minutes) for the vet. The vet tech and vet had to (literally) wrangle one of the cats to give her 3-year rabies vaccinations and did not charge me for the office visit since they could not do an exam. They were very capable. My other cat did just fine and the vet gave him his shots and his exam quickly and proficiently. My main issue was with my dog and her vaccinations. I had asked just for the basic vaccines (rabies, bordetella, distemper), but felt like the lime-lepto was pushed on me even though my dog never leaves the Cities. The vet made it sound like it was almost a crime for not vaccinating my dog against it. Shame on me for not doing my homework before consenting, but I find it disheartening that I cannot trust my vet to explain all of the pros and cons and whys and why nots of any superfluous shots. All in all, I will probably continue to use this vet, but I will definitely put my foot down before consenting to any vaccines that I have not had the

"My last experience with a vet prior to
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
I felt was really bad. I'd taken my recently adopted cat to
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for vaccinations and evaluations of her health. After she started to display odd behaviors and symtoms of a disease (feline infectious peritonitis)
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was unable to find a problem and the vet showed no compassion for the cat. I took her to the 'Kitty Clinic' where they immediately discovered the issue. It meant putting her down, but at least we knew what the problem was. The whole thing lasted a month and
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
made me distrustful of pet veterinarians. I've worked with three of the five vets at
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and all three have been very good with my springer spaniel who tends to be tough to manage in a vets office. I feel like they cared for her so much better than the last vet I saw that didn't display any 'soft skills' in getting the dogs trust before examining her. I know I pay a little extra, but I do feel I'm taken care of well by them. I do have to admit that I think the front desk staff could be better. Rather than present your bill prior to getting your pet back they wait until after you have the pet which makes it harder to manage. This last visit I asked to pay my bill before they brought my dog back out and they were able to do it. It would be nice if they'd go ahead and ask if you'd like to pay before the pet comes back out. Otherwise I feel like the vets display a lot of compassion and knowledge.

"Brought my dog in around 9 am and picked her up the same day at 4 pm. I was very pleased with her care. When the vet was finished he called me to let me know everything went well and what time I could pick her up, also explained she had 4 teeth extracted. I was surprised at the low cost of the service which also included 2 days of pain medication (if needed). Dr.
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job and the clinic called me the next day to see how my dog was doing. The clinic is very reasonable in cost and you get quailty care for your pet. I highly recommend
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
Clinc and his staff.

"A stray cat that had been hanging around my house for the past 2-3 years had been injured, either hit by a car or attacked by dogs. I found her in my yard, badly injured, as I was heading out of town for a conference. I brought her in to
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, and the vet tech said she thought the cat would not survive and probably needed to be put down. Dr
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
came in and examined her, and thought she looked bad, but said he needed to examine her a little more. They agreed to keep her overnight and I said I understood that if she had to be put down, they would do that, but if there was a way to save her, I would help find her a home, and do whatever I could to help the poor thing out. They treated her, and boarded her for almost three weeks, for no charge. I ended up finding someone to adopt her and now she will be an only cat in a home where she will be doted upon! The
Minneapolis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
staff were all wonderful and did so much to help her out, and were so kind whenever I called that I can't say enough good about them!
