and his team did a great job. Our home was hail damaged from the previous summer and
was very patient with us and helped us work through the insurance claims process for replacing the hail damaged exterior of our home.
The work was very well done and we are very happy with the results.

Start date for the project was promised to be 3 weeks after contract signed - project not started for 9 weeks. Total project completion time was suggested by several
Exterior personnel to range from 2 days to one week - total project time was actually 8 weeks. Aluminum trim in several areas not installed properly and had to be refitted after project completion. Calking around windows, doors, around chimney and other areas incomplete or poorly applied - I re-calked the obvious gaps but after one year I'm still finding areas the need re-calking. Installation of wood siding was not done with the manufacturer’s required gap allowance at joints resulting in buckling during warmer weather. This issue was addressed by
by nailing down the bulges. The sales representative suggested that a computer tablet would be given as a promotional item but was never delivered even after several reminders. There was no oversight or sight visit of the siding project by the so called project manager and no final inspection after the project was complete.

I was delighted with the entire process.

is very easy to talk to and courteous and gives what I felt were honest recommendations and the craftsmanship is flawless.
I own a house built in 1940 and have a set of bay windows that were improperly installed probably 10-15. The aluminum aprons were installed backwards so when it rained, water flowed into the water sill, not away from it. Also, the exterior aluminum wrap had been installed haphazardly, so water was getting through several seams, into the base of the window, and trickled down into my basement. I had no idea how severe the damage was, so I decided to get the windows completely replaced. In total, I had five different companies come out to take a look. One company didn't want to do the work because it was "too erroneous" and another company never got back to me.

had the highest bid but not by much, and their solution seemed to be the best and also involved the most work. I'm very happy with the completed project. Looking at the exterior of the house, the new windows match the other windows perfectly, which was extremely important to me and tough to accomplish. The same is true looking at the windows from the interior of the house. They also made subtle changes to the eave and overhang so that water would pour off the roof instead of flow down the window. This was a nightmare of a task because of the intricacy of the eave (this is why one of the one bidders told me he didn't want to do it), but like everything else, it now looks perfect. The real test will come in the spring with the rainstorms but feel very comfortable that my new windows will withstand our MN storms.

He came up with a creative way to fix the roofline issue without having to replace the entire siding in the area. He did a great job!! He fixed the garage siding and trim so without having to replace the entire trim piece. He helped me get my house ready to sell. He was very responsive and professional.

It went well. When workers saw squirrels going in and out of the attic they discontiued work immediately so that they could be properly removed to prevent damage.

remained very communicative through this process so that work could be resumed as soon as possible. The workers were friendly and professional. They cleaned up thorougly.

I had old asbestos and lead cement board siding that was riddled with hail damage. The nice gentlemen at
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
& Consulting worked along with my insurance and were able to find an affordable solution to removing and installing nice Hardy Plank siding in a wonderful popular color. The workers were very efficient and cleaned up well after the project was done. I would recommend to a friend.

We contacted
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
about possibly needing new roof. They reviewed our roof, indicated we needed a new roof and siding due to hail damage. Because we were doing both those major items, we decided to also order 13 new windows, specifically because we were having the siding done at the same time and could put in NEW CONSTRUCTION windows, not replacement inserts. Two representatives from the company came to our house to measure the windows. We repeatedly stated the ONLY reason were replacing all the windows is because we wanted NEW CONSTRUCTION windows and could do at the same time as the siding was also being replaced as to not damage the siding. We repeated stated we did NOT want replacement inserts. They indicated they were clear on this during our meeting. It took 3 weeks for the windows to be delivered.
The roofing team came out and completed our re-roof in 2 days - they were quick and completed quality work. The siding crew came, ripped off the siding on our house and then Window team came and started replacing our windows. They screwed up the windows: They were INSERT replacements - NOT the NEW CONSTRUCTION windows were repeatedly said we wanted. Additionally, 2 windows were wrong (they put the wrong finishing put on the wrong sized windows).
My husband called the representative from the company who had come to our house & taken the order, only to have him try to convince us why we wanted replacement inserts (even though we'd already told him at our house that we'd done the research & wanted NEW, not replacement inserts). The representative was less than customer-focused, arguing with my husband so my husband asked to talk to the owner. The owner was much more customer-focused, apologizing for the situation, offering that he could order the new windows but it would take another 3 weeks or put in the replacement inserts and provide us a discount on them since they were not what we had ordered. Based on the fact that it was the mid-of January with all our siding off our house at this point, we didn't want them to put the siding off & have to peel it back (risking damaging the brand-new siding) to put in the new windows 3 weeks later, we opted to just go with the replacement inserts but were EXTREMELY disappointed and unhappy with Window experience with

. Then we had to wait another 3+ weeks for the 2 completely wrong windows to be re-ordered & re-installed.
Finally, when we received the final bill, there were errors on it. The amount that should have been credited to us for error in the windows was added as another charge, rather than a credit.

Summary of construction experience: Completely positive! Excellent communication by all! 100% trustworthy! High Quality! I would absolutely hire Craftsman’s Choice again.
In more detail: I started looking for a contractor in March, 2013 to handle removing and replacing roof shingles, removing a chimney fireplace bump out wall, replacing some cedar siding, and removing and replacing windows. After meeting with at least 6 contractors who I found via other internet review sites I was having no luck finding a business who I felt confident in hiring. Some did not respond with quotes (SELA was one of them), some could not handle all parts of the project, one was just a terrible high-pressure sales man, and another offered a super great deal on "low end" materials along with plans to repair rotten cedar siding by just painting over the rot. This is when I decided to join Angie’s list.
After reading hundreds of reviews I called Craftsman’s Choice, spoke with Amber, and was quickly scheduled to meet with

to discuss the projects.

The roof was done with GAF Woodland Designer Series shingles in the color Castlewood Gray by a roofing crew of fellows who were smiling while they were sweating through the 95+ degree weather. YOU should check out the look of these shingles – they are unique and stunning on a steep pitched roof!

Through the months of projects we did run into some unforeseeable situations; which, if you have had any experience with home projects or if you watch any home improvement TV shows, you know that construction projects can be unpredictable and sometimes things happen that turn one project into another project. Working with contractors through these types of difficult situations is how you really learn about the people you are dealing with… and this is how I learned what makes the Craftsman’s
Choice really great!

, owner, instantly involved himself in situations that required extra attention. He was consistently motivated to do what was right, to make things right, and to make sure that we were pleased with the progress and the results. I can’t say enough sincere words about

– he was truly a pleasure to work with. Also, project manager
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
O. was always on top of everything – he was attentive to all of the projects going on, always offering to help his team, to deliver building materials, or to haul away my own debris from unrelated interior sheetrock projects when he was in the area. These people go out of their way to take care of their customers – and you always know that they care, because they do.

Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
is an outstanding organization to work with. We had three projects completed in the summer of 2013, including a

siding install, teardown and build a new cedar deck, and install a new sliding patio door. Each crew from
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
was professional, clean and efficient. Everyone communicated really well. Price was on budget, and very competitive compared to most quotes I received. We only had one issue - which
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
resolved with THE BEST customer service I have ever received IN MY LIFE. I wont even say what the issue was, because they fixed it in a day. I would highly recommend them for any project they wish to take on.

The company has gone above expectations to help me out of a mess that I got myself into by hiring questionable sub-contractors. They have been more than fair and have made sure that they stand behind quality workmanship.

What started out as a shaky relationship with one of their salesmen, and left me questioning the company has turned into something that I can say has left me eating my words. I have learned a lot through my experience with this company as a first time homeowner (most lessons self-induced by learning things the hard way).

The company is a class act and won't let you down. I am extremely happy with their customer service and their commitment to make things right. Their siding craftsmanship is gorgeous and flawless.

Thank you Snap...and a special thank you to
Minneapolis Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
for being patient and fair. He exudes what customer service and satisfaction are all about. I thank him for that a million times over. Snap is lucky to have you!
