Roofing Reviews in Minneapolis

It went well. They showed up when they said they would and did the job in a workman-like and professional manner. Their project manager stayed in touch with us and kept us informed of the project status. There was some confusion between
regarding the order;
made it right and gave us our choice of two alternative solutions. Specifically the TiltPacs were ordered with a coat of primer on the interior, they were delivered without having been primed.
offered us the choice of them coming back and priming the TiltPacs or giving us a cash discount if we wanted to do the priming ourselves. We choose to have them do the priming, which they did promptly and at our convenience.

New roof work went excellently. Now after two fairly brutal seasons, it still looks and works great. Owner is extremely knowledgeable about all parts of the business, and does a good job of balancing between explaining and listening. Extra care was taken around issues I have with being "the old house on the block". The work crew was both efficient and meticulous: the actual replacement was completely done in a day. They went out of their way to protect the neighbor's house to the north from any potential issues during the work, and impressed them so much that now they're asking me "who did your roof, I want to talk to them, too".
Overall an excellent experience.

I really wanted to connect with
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
as I often listen to their radio show and think they sound quite professional. I scheduled an appraisal for siding/remodelling work. I never received the appraisal information. I called two times to request that they get me the info asap as I had pursued a home improvement loan and wanted the bid - never heard from them again. Maybe they prefer suburban work as I live in the city?

On May 25 I bought an Angie’s List deal from
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
for an attic and vent check with thermal imaging. Wanted to find out if we needed additional insulation.
On May 27 I got an email from Snap through Angie’s List. I responded to the email and told them I’d be away all afternoon the next day (May 28) but would be available in the morning to schedule a time for the check.
On May 28, no call in the morning but I did get a call in the afternoon while I was out. I was asked to call back.
Called back at about 9:30 the next morning (May 29). Was given a menu of 5 items. One choice was to type in the first three letters of the person’s name. I pressed 5 and typed the first three letters of that person’s name. Got a message saying no such person at the company. Pressed O for the operator. Got another voice mailbox. Hung up and redialed. Chose 4 Sales, since that seemed the only likely choice. Got yet another voice mailbox. Left a message saying I’d be available all day for a call back. Got no call.
Called at 7:15 the next morning (May 30). Chose 1 General Information. Got a minute of beautiful music, then was told I was first in line. After another 30 seconds I finally got a human voice. Of course I realized that at 7:15 am there was probably nobody in the office. From talking to the person who answered, it became obvious I was talking to an answering service. She took my info and said somebody would call me back as soon as they came in.
Got a call back at 8:30 am (May 30) asking what I needed. I explained about my purchase on Angie’s List. The person took my info and said a scheduler would call to arrange a time for the service. Probably not until early next week.
Got a call from
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
at 1:15 (June 2). He gave mea very good explanation of thermal imaging and said it doesn’t work well unless the temperatures are in the 50s or lower. I agreed to wait until the fall or until an unexpected cold snap before then.
Got a call (voice mail) from
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
at 2:37 (June 19). He seemed unaware I had already set things up with
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
One last thing. The day I bought (May 25) there were 2 days remaining on the special offer. Just for the heck of it, I decided to check again on May 30. I found the same offer. With 29 days remaining.
I decided to cancel my order. Had a go-around with Angie’s List but finally got my money back.
Also decided to submit a report. This is it.

I had had had three other companies submit bids however two of them provided the option to repair, only to replace. Replacement was out of the question due to financial reasons, yet I needed to repair the leaking. Another company offered to repair, but I chose
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. They were a few days late on an expected call back, but really no problem. They were able to fit in this small job a day earlier than planned! The crew was very nice and communicated well with me on arrival. I did find one container of caulk off to the sides in my bushes but I don't think it was intentional but fell off and I found it a few days later. Any way I would do business with them again and when I do have the opportunity to replace the roof, they will be the first on my list.

We have a 90 year old home in south Minneapolis and had problems with leaks and ice dams last winter. Part of the issue was the metal flashing on our roof and chimney, in addition to leaking around our chimney with the original mortar falling apart. We had four masonry companies come and give us estimates. Two were very expensive and not very informative at all, while
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and another company actually met with us, explained the issues and gave us very reasonable quotes. We decided to go with
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and they were very professional and kept in contact with us throughout the process.
They performed the repair in two stages, weeks apart. The first repair was done in about one full day, repairing the roof and installing flashing and new shingles. The crew worked very hard and put in 12+ hour day, did a great job and cleaned up well afterward. The second repair was sandblasting old mortar out, masonry to the top of the chimney and retuckpointing the entire chimney. This took a few days but again the crew was very good and conscious of our landscaping and clean up.
Overall, they did a great job and our new chimney and flashing look great. We are very pleased with
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and would absolutely use them again in the future.

sent someone out to survey the house. He sent a quote within a couple days. We agreed on which options I wanted and then discussed the timing to have the work done. I asked him if he could expedite the job and he was able to have them out to my house that same day. The installer was efficient and professional. I was very happy with the work done.

The roofing was done relatively quickly (2 days) and was done well. However, 2 major issues:
1. The contractor failed to get a permit, as required by the city of Minneapolis. I was out of the US for an extended period of time when this occurred and
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
refused to answer phone calls, emails, or any communications. I offered to pay all expenses to retroactively get the permit, but nothing but silence from
Minneapolis Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. So I ended up buying an airline ticket to MSP, paying the $250 dollar fine, and filing the permit application myself. Unbelievable lack of courtesy.
2. 4 years later, the trim pieces on the roof blew off. I rented a 30' ladder and inspected the roof; I found that the metal trim pieces were stapled to the roofing with smooth staples; absolutely the wrong materials to hold this down. All of the

pieces were coming off so I had to fix it myself
Obviously do not recommend this contractor for any work.

nMatthew gave a very detailed estimate. The roofing crew arrived right on time and finished the roof in one day as promised.A nother crew installed new gutters the next day. They did a very thorough cleanup and everything was hauled away the next day. I would recommend this company to anyone.
