He said he would call when he got there and give me an estimate of cost. I did not get a call during the day, and when I arrived home, they were there working on the ice dams. ...more The workers called JD right away and he called me right back. He had been delayed at another job and apologized for not being there and for not having called me with an estimate. He told me that they had been working on our ice dams for 2 hours (which would have cost $500). He offered to charge me only half of that ($250) to compensate for the error. They did a great job, cleaned up very well, and the whole thing was resolved in a very professional and considerate matter. His crew was especially courteous throughout. JD then stopped by our house an hour later to apologize again for the error and to be sure that everything had been done satisfactorily.
