Minneapolis Plumbers Reviews

"The plumber didn't even look at what the problem was with the water softener. He just told me that it looked like it might not be worth fixing, and he tried to sell me a new $2,300 water softener. He quoted me a price of $470 to rebuild the leaking faucet, if I purchased a service plan with Bonfe for $79 per month. The next week I had another plumber from another company fix the water softener and faucet for much less. Bonfe charges way too much, and wants you to buy a very expensive monthly service plan. I will not contact Bonfe in the future for any plumbing needs.

"The cold water handle in the bathtub faucet broke and there was no handle on the shut-off valve, so we had to turn off water to the house. Called

– we've used them in the past – and they were able to come out within 2 hours or less, which saved us a lot of hassle.

, the plumber, was very upfront about what needed to be done, the options, and the cost. He got going right away, and finished fairly promptly – even though it took a little longer than expected because he had to cut through the tub surround and wall – which, in this old house, is incredibly hard, and enlarge the access panel. He was professional, very good, and friendly. Also, a few months ago, we used
Minneapolis Plumbers Provider Name Locked
to replace two water heaters in the duplex – one was starting to leak. Same thing – they were prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. The city inspector complimented

and said "They always do good work."

came and gave me a prompt quote that was the lowest bid be a long shot. That alone would have made me happy! The crew arrived early in the morning and worked tirelessly to get everything done by 2:00. They found an unexpected broken basement drain pipe and repaired that for no extra cost, and capped an extra gas pipe that was not included in the quote. I built this bathroom myself and,

agreed to lower the price if I would haul out the broken concrete and dirt as well as re-pour the concrete. This saved a lot of money and worked great with my project's needs.
"I did not want to wait until the hot water heater failed to replace a 20+ year old heater.
I called
Minneapolis Plumbers Provider Name Locked
and they gave me prices on several heaters and a recommendation for what they considered the best value, which I chose.
They arrived as scheduled and completed the work in a couple of hours as promised.
One person arrived who began by draining the old heater and a 2nd person arrived with the new heater. The two worked together to remove the old heater and bring in the new one.
The workmen were professional and friendly. They navigated the narrow back door and low head-room on the stairs to the basement with no problems.
They accept payment by credit card and they applied eligible discounts from the gas company.

"The technician arrived as scheduled (not an emergency) on a weekday morning. He was friendly and professional. Now completed, the furnace appears to be running fine. This was a very common problem.
Total labor was very close to 2.5 hrs. Safety valve costs less than $50. Total cost was $900! This is more than $300/hr!!! A little on-line research indicates a fair price would be $450-$500.
It is very hard to tell a friendly technician his price is too high, pay the mandatory minimum service call and start over.

"I saw a coupon for toilet inspection. I responded and
Minneapolis Plumbers Provider Name Locked
called that same day and was able to make the appointment for the following day. He called before he got there, he arrived on time. He looked at both toilets, I told him my complaints, he told me what he would suggest to fix them, we agreed on price, and he did the work. Fast. He showed me that both toilets functioned correctly, on the second toilet he said he needed to recheck that one, he did a little extra work and presto. Finished. Nice guy.
I wish all home repairs were this easy.
"Excellent! He was responsive, responsible, solved some problems, conveyed information well...I will definitely hire him again! "
"I did not use the Big Deal because I ended up breaking my ankle and was recovering from surgery. I did contact Angie's List and received a refund.
"They did a great job and I can definitely recommend them. We can't say enough good things about our experience with this company. The plumber was prompt, efficient and fixed much more in the two hours than we expected. We originally wanted them to replace a kitchen faucet and a few other things, but he was able to look at a number of items around the house, including an outdoor shower and faucet. We would definitely recommend this company based on our experience.
"Tech arrived right on time to install a garbage disposal and did so quickly and efficiently. He was polite and knowledgeable, fully explained how it works, how to maintain it, and the install process. He also asked if there were any other issues he could address while on site, and I had him look at an ancient boiler. He described how it worked and told me that there were no immediate concerns with it.
