Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is a perfect solution to your home improvement needs. The craftmanships is top notch. The bathroom was decades old when Gordie step in to help us replace a tub with a shower. I have to say Gordie was a great advisor to what direction our project was headed. It was cost effective working with Gordie. He clearly was an independant which enables him to give expert advice without discrimination. Therefore, I was able to purchase products for our bathroom from various stores while Gordie happily installed them. Now the Bathroom is the best room in our house.

It went well. They work quickly and clean up after they are done. They were responsive to a couple of small issues that arose with quality. I would definitely consider using them again.

It went great.

and his team were excellent. I got what was promised and then some. They came when they said they would, and kept us updated. He even fixed a picture frame for me. I would highly recommend them and I would hire them again.

really cared about the work and it was obvious from the initial interview that he would only do quality work.

and his team care about the customers greatly. His wife was also very helpful. She is an interior designer and gave very good advice. I can't say enough good things. A while after all was done and the final bill had been paid, I discovered 2 problems. I called

and he immediately took care of both problems.

The previous porch columns looked fine but had internally rotted and were a hazard since there is an upper level to the porch.
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work on it. The porch is on a 100 year old house so the columns had to fit the old look and style and size of the house. The designer recommended period style fluted columns, which
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was able to find and worked with me on making sure they were the right size. The project was then delayed for quite awhile, apparently due to waiting to receive the columns and availability of the roofing company that worked on the new drainage system. Once underway, everything went quickly and smoothly and the end result is beautiful, really everything I could have hoped for.

, the carpenter, is a delight to work with and went out of his way to fix some smaller issues that were not technically part of the project but he could see they needed to be done. I have great confidence in his work and peace of mind that the porch is not only beautiful but sturdy, safe and built to last.

I have used
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for many smaller projects and repairs in the past and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work. All of this has
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
up to the biggest project yet, the kitchen. We got bids from several of the "big name" remodelers in town but ultimately ended-up going with someone we trust,
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and Platinum.
Not only did they live up to the standards that we expected, they exceeded them, especially in time to completion!
The crew is like a family. We have seen many of these same people on smaller projects over the years. They are friendly and super respectful of your home and privacy.
It's no wonder that they have grown-up from a small
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
service!!
I have recommended them to family, friends and anyone else for small and large jobs.
Sincerely,

I have been very lucky with the dozens of contractors I've worked with, and this is my "bad apple" experience. I wasn't going to write a review, because I'm a contractor myself and know how damaging a bad review can be. But I was notified that some Angie's customers requested a review on his work, so here we go. ...More />

started out great, very personable, fair pricing estimates and the timeframe was perfect. He'd also done a beautiful job on my mother's kitchen a few years ago, so of course I chose him to do the work. He was going to bring another guy over the 2 days, but
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
turned out to be the only person working on the kitchen other than the 1/2 day when he brought his teenage son, who hadn't done this work before and needed constant supervision. I don't think he ever spent more than a couple of hours at a time working on the kitchen, always with some explanation like he had to pick up a
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, or his teenagers had some event or he just didn't show up when he said he would. What was supposed to take 2 days, instead took 3 weeks. When I talked to him about it he said, "well you're not even living here." Other weirdness included how he mocked and disrespected the countertop fabricator, calling him Vladimir Putin because he was Russian born and they disagreed on how to hang the undermount sink.
Unfortunately I paid
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for the work he had done before the job was complete, and I had to find and pay someone else to finish the work. The pantry had to be reinstalled. The opening for the dishwasher had to be entirely rebuilt. Shelving didn't fit and had to be recut. I even talked to a kitchen guy at IKEA about

, and this guy couldn't believe it either. He knew
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
from a few years ago when they worked together at IKEA, and agreed that this did not sound at all like

My experience could be a

I chose painted wood cabinets, which were a bit more pricey than others but the design was what I wanted.
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
discouraged wood because it would expand and contract seasonally in Minnesota weather. In hindsight, I should have been resolute in my choice. When the drawings came, the cabinet fronts were "beadboard" design and some kind of heat foil-wrap was spec'd as the finish. The wrap has separated from the base. I checked Medallion's warranty, and it explicitly excludes melting or bubbling of the foil wrap if the cabinets are near any heat source, which is impossible to avoid in a kitchen --

, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
So all in all, I made a bad choice of kitchen cabinets based upon
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's recommendation. I planned to replace kitchen cabinet doors in about 20 years, but now it looks like that will happen much sooner.

Was able to schedule an estimate quickly - late show for estimate. TC Home Remodeling was unenthusiastic and declined to create an estimate after kitchen and bath remodel was explained on site but scope of job was explained over the phone before creating appointment. Waste of time.

is an excellent company. They started the project on April 14 and it was completed on May 26 (which was the timeline promised). First met with

Grindland (owner) and Kian
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
(designer) in March and explained what we wanted to do. Project involved removing a door into the kitchen, removing a wall between kitchen and diningroom, moving the sink from one area into a penisula between the existing kitchen and diningroom.
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and Kian got back to us in two weeks to thoroughly go over the bid. At the time, we felt the bid was high, but definitely in the ballpark of other bids we had received. We decided to go ahead with the project. They Installed hardwood floor in kitchen, hung new lights and cabinets, removed all carpeting from livingroom and hallway and refinished and stained floors (1938 red oak) so all matched new floor in kitchen. Installed new vanity, toilet and shower head in bathroom.

and subcontractors

(electrician) and
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
(plumber) couldn't have been better. Easy to work with, very considerate and very quick to fix any concerns we had. We did have a problem with the floor stain initially, but
Minneapolis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
saw to it that the floor was the color we wanted and not the one the initially applied by the floor sub contractor. All in all it was a pleasant experience (if having your house torn up for 6 weeks can be pleasant) and the result is spectacular.

Met with estimator the beginning of June about getting a bid. After several calls have not heard back and no estimate for work. Moved on to another contractor.
