Minneapolis Cleaning Services Reviews

"I purchased a Living Social deal to have our house cleaned prior to the delivery of our first baby. Cleaning has been difficult for me in the last few months and with the visitors we can expect with a new baby I wanted to make sure the house was clean.
We had no problems scheduling for the date that worked best for us.

arrived on time and got right to work. We had wanted him to pay special attention to the bathroom and kitchen and when he was done those to areas were immaculate (including our very dirty microwave and the bottom of our tub).
The rest of the house was sparkly and fresh smelling too.
I will definitely be calling them up to have

return for periodic cleanings as I am sure the baby will keep me busy and things may not get done the way I am used to them.
"It was hard to get on the schedule and the contact person seemed to have trouble keeping track on info and schedules.
The first time they arrived the cleaning was outstanding. Each time it was a little less impressive from the time before.
"First off I have to say that I do pre-clean. I don't go over board, but I want the cleaners to do the things I hate to do and don't want them wasting time on things I can do myself. So before they arrive I have already picked up laundry (including bath towels), collected dishes, and stripped the beds. I set out clean sheets, clean sets of towels, bath rugs, and dish cloths.
They then come in and take care of the rest. Dishwasher load and run. Beds remade. Towels hung. Rugs spread. House cleaner than I manage on my best day. All in under three hours. All that's left for me is to fold my sheets and towels (I do my own laundry) and enjoy my clean house.
So obviously the more there is for them to do the longer it will take (and the more it will cost) but for me this is perfect. Its removed all the embarrassing nagging that is sometimes neccessary when one spouse likes a clean house and the other maybe not so much. The money is well worth the household peace it provides.
Also I must note that in figuring out the whole cost/benefit ratio, I hold my son's room off limits. They don't clean in there. I wouldn't make a hazardous waste team enter there. But it does provide a small carrot that if he would just clean up a little he could benefit from professional assistance. So far that hasn't worked, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

? Tops in my book.
"From the beginning dealing with
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
was a huge pain, we purchased a deal online and were charged but it took them over a week to find the record of that to allow us to set up an appointment. Then they overcharged us. the deal we bought was for 4 hours of cleaning, the cleaner was only at our house for 2.5 hours and they still charged the credit card for an additional 2.5 hours (so 6 hours total).
Regarding the actual cleaning, it was a waste of time. There was no furniture in the house yet, so it should have been easy, but I still found dust and even dead flies on the window sills, none of the glass was cleaned and the cleaner just kept commenting on how clean the house already was so he wouldn't need the full 4 hours that were booked.
It was cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for because it was awful and we had to clean ourselves and call to get the extra charges reversed.
"Wonderful, reliable service. Have been using them for several months now. My cleaner always arrives promptly and finishes the clean in the estimated time. She cheerfully works around my two large dogs. And my house is wonderfully clean at the end. I highly recommend Tow Bettys to anyone looking for ongoing housekeeping.
"I had requested a deep clean of my house. I'm going to be renting it and wanted it to be spotless. In the end, they did some light dusting. They dusted the mantel but didn't move anything so they really just dusted the front half of the mantel. They wiped down the windows where the blinds were open and the blinds where they were closed but never opened or closed the blinds to get at the other. They did a very light clean on the bathroom and kitchen. They swept but didn't mop.
All around, it was a very halfassed job. I used this company a couple years ago and got a great cleaning. I used them last year and got a bad one. I wanted to give them another shot but won't be using them again. I don't need to pay someone to do a halfassed cleaning. I can do that myself.
"Other than the above, I'd use his service again. Nobody's perfect, but his cleaners have been very good, thorough, cheerful and professional. Most of them do not speak English and I wonder if they know that he does not insure them for on-the-job injuries.

UPDATE: I wrote another review recently, but after interviewing other housecleaners, I do not believe that
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
should be rated A or B; in fact, they should be an F for professionalism, so I am writing another as an update, based on what I learned. I've used them for two-plus years. I have asked for a certificate of insurance three times over six weeks, with one time in writing, one by voicemail and one in a direct phone conversation.
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
assured me it was coming, but when I told him that I wouldn't use him again until I got it, he stopped calling me to arrange my housecleaning, which only proves he does not insure his workers to clean a house. Most of them do not speak English. In interviewing other providers, I got the certificate right up front and was assured that if anything was broken, they will replace it.
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
never answered my question about a broken item and did not offer to replace it. I also referred two people to him for big move-in cleaning jobs; never got so much as a thank you, and he did not give me the $50 coupon that was on his site. Beware, people: if his cleaners have any injury on your premises, you will pay the tab, not him. He's not insured and he
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
about it on this site. His info states that he is insured and bonded and he is not or he would have produced the certificate and would not have sacrificed a longtime, paying customer. This is a big concern.
"I've been using
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
for a few years and always recommend them to others. Had used a few different services before them
and nobody else compares to them. They are reliable, affordable and do a great job! They are great with my two dogs. don't know what I would do without them!
"I work near my home, so we scheduled a day appointment. I was 5-7 minutes late for the appointment. Weather was a factor, and I didn't have her number with me in the car so I was unable to call. When I reached my home, I found her number and called. She stated that she didn't have my number and was already in another city and that we could either reschedule or she could call me in 30 minutes to tell me whether she would have time to come back. I said that I would like to meet and what time was she saying she could come back. Eventually she stated that I would have to wait up to an hour for her call and that she may or may not have time to come back. I stated that I would like to reschedule. At this point, she said that maybe working together would not be a good fit. She quoted her hourly rate and that she had a two hour minimum. This did not bother me, but she went on to say she knew another cleaner that was just getting started that may be a better fit for me and that since I had referenced a budget in my email that maybe this would be too expensive. I was a little frustrated since I had chosen her company off of Angie's list specifically, but I agreed that she could send me that person's contact information and that we would not reschedule. I emailed her later that day to remind her as a follow up that I would like that person's contact information. I also made a phone call the following Monday. I received a one sentence email stating that she did not know anyone to refer me to, and that I could check the better business bureau. I responded again asking that she send me the specific person that she mentioned on the phone when we had talked, and have not received a response after two weeks.
Overall, this was a really frustrating experience. I am sorry that I was late for the appointment, but it felt like somehow when she came to my home, that there was something about the exterior of the home or my neighborhood that caused her to not want to work with me. Then, she would not pass on the referral information either without explanation. I felt this was rude and unprofessional. I'm proud of my home and my neighborhood and I make enough money to afford a cleaning lady even though I live in North Minneapolis. I'm sure that
Minneapolis Cleaning Services Provider Name Locked
does a good job with those she chooses to work with, but beware you may not make the cut.
"The staff worked very hard and fast, most of the job was heavy labor. After everything was carried out, they carefully clean the basement space. I see in other reviews that some have complained about the staff's understanding of English. I did not have that problem and I worked closely with them. They were very polite and hard working. They are retuning to do general cleaning next week.
