When I complained to the onsite manager, she instructed me to run the water in
three locations; the kitchen sink , the tub, and face bowl for 15 minutes and
it would get warm. That didn't work! She then offered to send someone to change
my filter and that may help. Since I had never heard of a filter having an
affect on hot water, I passed on that idea. After writing a letter to the
response, I finally spoke with
he was unaware of a problem with hot water in the building. After I threatened
to organize the tenants, they installed a $1500.00 part that would correct the
problem. In the mean time I learned from other tenants that the lack of
hot water has and is an ongoing problem, in addition to the deterioration in
the care and maintenance of the apartment complex. The $1500 part proved
to be a short term fix. A few weeks ago we were notified that there would
be extensive work done to attempt to correct the problem of no hot water.
Today, December 26th, when I spoke to

few weeks we have had hot water, but I hold my breath
each time I turn a faucet on, wondering how long that luxury will last, and
I'll have to return to boiling water to take a bath and wash dishes, and resort
