Minneapolis Dry Cleaners

"The dry cleaning that in fact was done was done well. The place is very unprofessional. My daughter brought in several boxes of clothing, because of the bulk rate. They said the order would be ready in a month because it wasn't priority. After a month, when I went in to pick up the order, they said it wasn't ready and I should come back in a week. I ...more returned after a week and a half, and they had only a small percentage ready. I returned several times after, and they kept postponing the order. They then sent the order to an outside dry cleaner and I had to pay in cash before they sent it in. That was ready after a while but the remainder of the order was not. Finally, after several months, I picked up the rest of the clothes and took it somewhere else. I was extremely disappointed with this business and would not recommend them to anyone."

"I dropped the suit off on a Saturday and picked it up on the following Saturday. Before performing the service, they explained how they would approach the work, what would be done and the price. They did exactly what they said they would do."

"Interesting. In the previous year they misplace a pair of pants that I brought in for dry cleaning. When I showed up to pick up this order of dry cleaning, they provided the lost pair of pants from the previous year. No explanation was provided as to why they did not call me when they found this clothing."

I returned Friday, the service rep did not know where my shirts were so she asked me to come back to the back and identify my shirts. Why didn't their system know? Is this common? This took about 15 minutes, and I did not receive any discount for this sub par service. On top of that, the customer service person was very crass, commenting on very inappropriate topics with each customer that came in. I am searching for a new dry cleaner and will be scoring

very poorly based on my experience."

"Not only was I depressed and upset about my dress, I am never ever going to recommend them. Empire picks up from his office in Downtown Minneapolis and then drives back to Chanhassen. Why they use a cleaners so far away, don't know. My husband's white shirt came back with a new blue that wasn't there before. "My clothes have always been ready when indicated and the quality of cleaning has been great. I especially appreciate the friendly service. The proprietor remembered my name after only a couple of visits and has interesting stories about the neighborhood."
