They were nice guys, but they really didn't do much, even for $ 99.00. So I figured "my bad", even tho our appliances are older, both are 10-12 yrs old, we keep them in good condition. HSP was the lowest bid. The highest bid gave me the shakes; their bid was almost twice that of HSP - and they are very highly rated in Angies. HSP was absolutely wonderful. People seem to underestimate them. My experience with HSP was terrific. The install date was agreed on - I had a few days to wait, but I have a secondary heat source that kept my house comfortable. I wasn't sweating the "no heat" situation too much. The crew arrived on time (early), they were professional, efficient, cleaned up after themselves. Everyone was nice. My dog wasn't a problem for any of them. When the city inspection was done, even the inspector said good things of the HSP installers - he said (quote) "They make my job easy". My furnace and A/C have both been working admirably and very quiet too! Another wonderful benefit with HSP, they filled out the rebate forms for me. Several rebate forms. They also gave me reminders about the A/C inspection in June to make sure that I got that rebate. Thumbs up for

! I would not hesitate to give them a great review. Furnace and A/C is a big house maintenance expense so really investigate others who've hired CP HSP before you pass over them. I saved lots of money by hiring them and absolutely no disappointment in their service.

My washer stopped working on the weekend, so I called the next Monday. Because it's a busy season (lots of refrigerator issues in the summer), the first appointment was the following week. I figured if they were really in demand, it's a positive thing.

arrived a little early and apologized, but I was OK with that. He reassured me that my washer was a great model with few issues and should last many years. This was important, because the washer was here when I moved in, and I had no history with it. Also, I had to replace the gas dryer, central A/C and furnace the year before, and was relieved that I didn't need to buy another large appliance.
He knew before removing the cover what the problem was and said it was an easy and relatively quick fix. I also asked him to check the hoses to see if they were in good shape. (The previous home owners were lousy about maintenance.)

I am disappointed in today's service. I read all the positive reviews and thought I had found the right company for all our aging appliance needs. The 25+-year-old oven we inherited with our old house stopped working. We called

to see if he was still coming--we waited for the two hours and hadn't heard anything. When I called, he said he would come over. Fine. He came 20 minutes late and made no apologies for it. An apology would have gone a long way to make the rest of the service call better.
He was in and out of our house in under three minutes. All he did was push a knob, pull another knob, and twist the clock setting to reset it. The oven started right up. To be fair, he knew what to do and quickly identified the problem.
When I asked if that was all there was to do, he said, "yep--this happens all the time." Then, he billed me for the service call ($80). Three minutes. I get it that he has to make his money and all, but IF THIS TRULY "HAPPENS ALL THE TIME" with this oven, why not ask me to check it when I initially called to see if a service call was even necessary?? If this happens all the time, why not try and help your customers out by trying to eliminate this

fix? That is the part I am most frustrated about. I could have easily turned those knobs and kept my $80 with a couple of instructions over the phone. And, I would have called him the next time something breaks (which will undoubtedly happen again and again).
