"A windstorm in early March tore some siding off our house, after getting a quote from Landmark we decided to re-side the whole house rather than simply fixing one part of the siding. Overall we had a great experience. I called on a Monday afternoon, by Tuesday I had an estimate, and they started work the following Monday to re-side the whole house. They siding was complete by Thursday afternoon, after a complete tear-off and replacement. The quality of the work is top notch. Every night before they left the house and yard were cleaned up and the only evidence that our house was being re-sided was the fact that some siding was missing and there was a trailer in our driveway. I actually think they left my yard cleaner when they finished than it was when they began.I would not hesitate to recommend Landmark to any of my friends."

"The guys that installed were very nice, however, there was a disconnect between the sales people and the workers. Sales pitch included that the production manager had all of this experience, however, he never actually came to the work site. Included in our estimate was to create ventilation under the soffit vents including taking out nesting that may be blocking the ventilation. The workers initially only drilled 3 small holes under each vent, but the holes were blocked by nesting in some areas. Based on the estimate, we contacted the production manager, who was a little rude, however, did relay the information back to the work site employees. They did ask us what we wanted and how big the cut should be. In addition, they were supposed to have replaced any rotten wood. They indicated that none of the wood had been rotten (though there was one section that we knew was) and less than a year later, the trimming started to pull away from the wood (in the section that was rotten). There was a 1 year warranty on the work, so someone came out immediately to repair. He said that the wood was not rotted and that this sometimes happened due to the climate. Repaired with silicon or something to "glue" together. This should not have happened based on the cost and supposed quality of the material."

I said yes, but made it clear to the gentleman on the phone that we were not looking to buy at this time and that we just wanted estimates. I explained that we had several other projects in process and just wanted to get an idea about the pricing. He assured me that he understood and that it would not be a waste of anyones time to keep the appointment. The rep came by at about 5. We talked a little bit about what we were looking for and then he went out to measure. He came back in and worked the numbers. I didn't have any opinion about the first quote he gave us because I had nothing to compare it to. Then he said that if we signed that day, he could knock almost $4000 off the price. Then he started talking about financing options and what not. I told him that I did not want to buy from the first person we talked to (based on a previous experience with windows). He continued on about the payment plans they could offer. My boyfriend then told him that we were NOT going to be signing anything that day. I could not believe it, but the very next thing the rep did was pull out a contract!! He wanted to assure us that there would be no

costs and that everything would be outlined on the contract. I told him that I didn't care about the contract, but we were not going to agree to anything that night. He then asked if there was anything else he could do to "

the deal". I was tempted to say "get out of my house?!", but instead simply said "no". He also made a sorry attempt to reach someone on the phone to see what other arrangements could be made from a financing standpoint. What was irritating about that was the fact that we had planned on paying cash and the financing was not the issue. The issue was that he didn't listen to what we were saying and ultimately lost our business because of that. UPDATE!!! We went to the NARI home show this weekend and spoke with another contractor that sold the same exact product (I saw the ad slick from the company and it was the same one that

had shown us) and they quoted us almost $9000 less!!!!!!!!! "

"The work performed was exceptionally precise and the new siding looks great! It took about 6-8 weeks between the original estimate and order and the actual work being done. I knew the siding would take about one month to come in, but when I did not receive a call after about four and a half weeks I called and learned that the siding was in and then the work was scheduled for the next couple weeks. So, communication could have been improved. Also, I OKed a specific day, and the work was not started until the following day and then ended up being done in the course of two days. I did not mind the delay, but needed communication to this effect so that I could have planned accordingly, since I had out of town guests and a patio party planned for the very evening that they had decided to leave all the project materials for the next day on the patio and in the yard. They did come out to clean up the materials then upon my request, but unfortunately it was too late. This company is relatively young and can learn the customer service piece. The products they use and the work they do are exceptional and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others."
