Lawn Treatment Reviews in Milwaukee

I ordered the Big Deal too late in the fall to perform the aeration.
was willing to do the work in the spring. The workmen arrived promptly on the rescheduled date. They performed the work in a professional manner. I was pleased enough with their work to hire them again to provide additional lawn service.

Last spring we hired
's Lawn care to provide fertilizer, weed control and aeration to our lawn for the season. During one visit a worker ran over several outdoor lights in the ground lining our front walk way and broke them. During
another visit by a worker, paperwork/information was miscommunicated between workers and they double applied chemicals to our lawn. They came to respray because their original treatment had little impact on some crab grass and when the came back (a couple weeks later) they applied the treatment and then came again literally two days later for our regularly scheduled treatment which we were charged for. When we called
he said "I'll have to check my records, they aren't in front of me right now and call you back." (he never did and has used this line on us several times when calling with questions. The man in charge (
) who we spoke to was less than sorry about our experiences and even left us (the customers) feeling as if what had been done was made up or our fault. When we were contacted by
's lawn care about further use of their company for the this season, we were very clear in stating, NO! We are not going to continue with your services due to poor customer service! Our family is expecting very soon therefore we began our
for a NATURAL/ORGANIC non-chemical based lawn company in the MKE area a week or so ago. On the same day as our soil was to be tested by the company we choose,
's stopped by and dropped chemicals on our lawn at 7AM! This not only majorly messed up our lawn care set up with our new NATURAL NON CHEMICAL COMPANY, but now we have exactly what we didn't want...chemicals on our lawn. My husband called this man in charge,
, abut this mix up at 7AM.
was quick to tell my husband that these things just don't happen and someone must have called to verify that we were renewing our services. I guess
doesn't remember the many phone calls that we placed last spring about how dis-satisfied we were with his company either, or he wouldn't of even tried to renew us!I called
again later today to inquire as to what he was going to be doing with this $35 bill a worker left in our door. I guess they can't do anything with the chemicals they left! :( He was quick to inform me and my husband about his personal dislike of natural/organic products and our choice to move to such a company. Since his worker performed a service,. they therefore left a bill, which he was not planning on dealing with by removing and sending us a zero balance paper work because his workers just don't make such mistakes, etc. We did not renew this service. We had informed them each time someone called us and we had also informed them during last spring when we were unhappy with their services also. I want a paper in the mail showing a zero balance owed to this company. An apology would also be a courteous and professional thing to do when a business makes a mistake also, but from our experiences this man and his company never make any of those!
claims to have dates and times that someone called us, where we said we want to renew. We have remained steadfast that the only thing ever said to anyone who called was NO, NO, NO!! Based on customer service alone. Not only has this company been terrible to work with and DID NOT GET ANY TYPE OF AUTHORIZATION TO DO WHAT THEY DID, they really topped the cake here with APPLYNG CHEMICALS ON OUR LAWN RIGHT BEFORE A MAN FROM OUR NATURAL COMANY WAS ABOUT TO COME AND TAKE A SOIL SAMPLE AND THUS DELAY OUR BEGINNING OF OUR NEW COMPANY. And this man thinks that he and his company did no wrong. He couldn't of messed up in a bigger way if you ask me! Didn't get authorization, dumped chemicals on our lawn when we were trying to avoid them and now has exposed my family and unborn child to the chemicals. Could any person or company be more pompus!? They cannot undo what they did, so they should AT LEAST not be billing us for it!
called and cliams that "back in December we got confirmation from you that you had approved service again for the spring." I'll stress this couldn't be any further from the truth as we had by that time known about our child we were expecting and had already made a decision to go away from chemical application and use a more organic/natural lawn company which Aaarons is not. This company provides HORRIBLE customer service and flat out

Just so very disappointed in
Milwaukee Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
after a neighbor had recommended them to care for my lawn in spring/summer 2013.
After all of their spring and summer "care" in 2013, my lawn never improved at all. In fact, on 9-12-13, after months of service and after I complained about how bad my lawn looked, "

" from
Milwaukee Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
called me to let me know that a disease called "grub" had developed in my lawn. In my 11 years here I had never had any GRUB issues. They came and provided insect control for free, and instructed me to rake out the spots and reseed. Well I was certainly glad I paid for lawn service this year. UGH.
The bottom line is that these guys did show up and "treat" my lawn, but seemed completely indifferent to the fact that it the lawn looked terrible, had bare spots, and eventually developed these yellow blotches - grub. Their attitude was "Hey , we came and treated it, if it's not working or looks bad, it's not our problem." I was so disappointed in the responses I got to my complaints. "

I paid in full in advance for treatment, which I would not suggest!
I'm just going to go back to taking care of my own lawn.

Last year I went looking for a lawn service. I contacted TruGreen because I saw their vehicles in the neighborhood. A representative stopped out and recommeneded the whole season treatment. I have only 900 square feet of lawn in front and I thought the cost wasn't worth it. The representative was aggressive and (regretably) I agreed to two treatments only for the entire summer; I signed no contracts. Because I didn't agree to the entire program with numerous applications, TruGreen would not guarentee results. I understood that and accepted the terms. The grass looked the same at the end of the summer as at the beginning so it would seem that the two treaments did little as predicted. I have given TruGreen a low score not because my lawn showed no improvement but because of the business model TruGreen uses. TruGreen's idea of "Customer Service" is really harrassment, intimidation and ultimatum. I started recieving phone calls to reauthorize their lawn service at the end of the 2011 summer. They were a combination of robo and human calls at all hours of the day. When I didn't respond, their final tactic was to call last week to say that if I don't call to cancel they would be coming out to service my lawn. I didn't call them and they did apply pesticide and fertilizer to my lawn today. In their business model if you don't call them that means you want them to provide service. Today I called to let TruGreen know the pesticide applied today was not authorized and the representative said that someone from my house had called to authorize the lawn service. That was absolutley not possible. So, in addition to their aggressive sales people, their frequent unwanted phone calls, and applying pesticice to my lawn without authorization, they fabricate a scenario whereby it appears "someone" authorized the service. TruGreen did agree not to charge me for the latest service and to cancel all future applicaitons. I probably could have avoided this entire situation by calling and canceling last fall. However, I didn't have a contract with them to cancel. I was not obligated to speak to them. I expected the calls to stop after a reasonable number of attempts on their part. I agreed to two lawn aplications and that was all. Nothing more, nothing less. The rest is just unquestionably bad business under the

of "Customer Service". I would not recommend this busines to anyone.

All of a sudden I got an invoice, that said he came and sprayed round up. He never informed me that they were coming. They didn't give us any warning. Then, my lawn started dying. We had no idea the dogs and kids were playing on the grass after it had been sprayed, which is not good. He didn't end up leveling the ground. I just paid him the initial payment and that was it.

They did a great job in removing the bushes and building the garden area, however, some of the plants they recomended didn't work out so well. I ended up tearing some of them out and planting new ones. One of the bushes went bad in the first year, and they did replace it at no cost. The lawn care was pretty good, however, the last year they didn't seem to do as well, even their costs went up. There were a lot of weeds and they didn't seem to eliminate them. The lawn didn't look as good that year either, so I switched to another company the next year.

My experience I would rate is just fair. I feel that if I'm paying for this type of service they should be letting me know if I have problems and not wait for me to call and ask them if there is something wrong with the lawn. I felt embarrassed to pay for a service and have my lawn look worse then my neighbor who did not pay for any type of professional services.

They come out each month to apply the applications. They are always there the time and day they are scheduled. They always put a sign up stating to stay off the grass and to keeps pets off. They are great about not selling something I don't need.

They come out every five to six weeks during the growing months. So far, so good. I am using this company for the first time this year. I am never here when they come, and they will leave flyers of other services they offer but they don't try to sell you products by phone. The work looks good and they come when scheduled and do the work that is agreed on.

GREAT!! They responded to my request for an estimate within 24 hours. They left a very detailed estimate the next afternoon which CLEARLY stated what they recommended and the cost of each application. Within a week of accepting their estimate, the technicians arrived and performed the first application. The lawn already looks better and we are very happy with the price and promptness of service.
