"We were really looking forward to working with this group. After many unanswered emails and phone calls,
met at our home to take a look at the bathroom. He took measurements and offered some great suggestions. We were told that ...more we would have an estimate in a week and they would probably be able to begin work at the end of May. This was early April and we haven't heard from him since then. We never got an estimate, despite several requests. Bummer!

and his team were excellent to work with. Punctual, professional, and extremely responsive, they certainly went the extra mile to deliver great service & great results. We couldn't be more pleased with our mini-kitchen ...more remodel.
was very detail oriented, a problem solver, clean, and respectable (both of our time and space). He also brought fresh ideas to the table, many of which we implemented. We are very thankful we stumbled upon him on Angie's List. "

Milwaukee Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews
"The bathroom turned out beautiful. Wonderful people to work with. I will admit that I am very detail ordinated and expect a lot of information, fortunately they were willing to work with me. All of the subcontractors were great. Working on a problem with the finish on the cabinet and there was an extended delay on the installation of the mirror ...more and glass shelf.
My only complaint is in the original selection process,
listed a 5% Senior Discount. With the bid I was told that this discount can not be applied to remodeling. It would have saved me $1,363.29 off my total bill. Suggest that the wording be changed in the Angie's listing. "
"They were professional in every way. Prompt and responsive for our estimate. Available for scheduled appointments. Timely responses to phone calls. Project team was very professional, pulled proper permits. Most important, the cost of the job did not go over the budget and things were completed very close to on time.
"The outcome was beautiful. We could not be happier. The installer was meticulous. Every door and drawer is perfect. All the doors have the self-closing hinges. The installation took about 4 days including the counter top and there was never a mess left behind. Everything was clean as a whistle when we came home from work. We were very impressed ...more with every detail. We had a minor glitch with regard to the price on the quarter rounds but the company resolved it with us to our satisfaction. We did feel this was a premium price although we did not match apples to apples. However, in the end we felt it was worth it because the quality is outstanding. Also it would have been nice to see more of a breakdown on the pricing. "
the owner did most of the work. He got the job completed on time and on budget. He helped my wife and I decide which new fixtures we wanted and the tile and he went to work.
Very easy to work with. He finished the job a day and a half early.
and we absolutely love the kitchen that they created for us. In fact, we were so impressed that we are hiring them again to do some additional work in our 2nd floor. Bottom line - if you read nothing else from this review - we feel like we made the best choice in hiring
For our kitchen remodel we interviewed 3 different remodeling companies. Two of the companies we were somewhat familiar with because they have done a lot of work in the Whitefish Bay area. We wanted to bring in a third company to round out the estimates and I found
on Angie's List and liked what I read in the reviews. I liked that they had done a lot of kitchens in the $40,000 - $60,000 range, which is where we thought we'd be.
We met with all the companies and
impressed us the most.
were personable, down to earth, friendly people - the kind of people you don't mind having in your house day in and day out. They seemed upfront and honest. Their estimate was in line with other estimates we were given - but they said they could likely complete the project in 6 weeks, which was a lot shorter than other places. In fact, one remodeling company had estimated 14 weeks from start to finish. We didn't realize at first that a lot of remodeling companies aren't necessarily going to work on your project 5 days a week until completion - thus a longer turn around time.
promised us that not only would they work every weekday until completion - but that we would have the same lead carpenter the whole time. That consistency appealed to us. And timing was a big factor for us because the way our house is laid out, demolition of our kitchen basically rendered our whole first floor uninhabitable.
was our project manager and he and
were in communication with us the entire time. If they didn't drop by in person, they made sure to email status updates and answer all questions and address any concerns we had right away. They were both very easy to talk to, respectful and professional. We had a few issues come up in the midst of the demolition (which is bound to happen when you are tearing into such old walls) and they were great with laying out options and making sure we felt comfortable with the solution.
was our lead carpenter and he was wonderful. I underestimated the importance of liking the person who is actually going to be in your house on a daily basis for weeks at a time. I happen to work from home, so it would have been no fun to feel uncomfortable or annoyed in my own house for 6 weeks. We were thrilled with
. He did great work, kept us in the loop with everything going on and was just a genuinely nice guy.
We were hoping to salvage the original maple floor in the kitchen (buried under 3 different layers of flooring), but weren't sure exactly how it would work since we have red oak floors in the dining room and living room (which run into the kitchen). It became apparent that the maple floors were too damaged to salvage and we had to figure out what to do. In the end, it was the best case scenario because we realized that we really wanted the living room, dining room and kitchen to flow into each other and the best way to achieve that is to have a floor that flows.
tore up the maple floor, repaired some parts of the sub floor and installed a red oak floor throughout the kitchen that they pieced into the dining room. Once it was all refinished, you can't tell where the old floor ends and the new begins. It is one thing that people always remark about when seeing our kitchen. They can't believe that the kitchen floor wasn't always there.
Remodeling is stressful and not always the most fun experience when you are in the midst of it. But
really made it a good experience - and it is amazing how much our new kitchen has affected our day to day life in the best way possible. We think the team at
is great. And the proof is in the pudding. They'll be starting another job at our house in a little over a month. "
"it went perfectly from start to finish. their design services gave us a perfect plan that solved every problem with the existing kitchen let made it seem in keeping with the original design of the house(1920's med. revival). they completely mapped out how the construction would occur and kept true to the design and the schedule. every night ...more the work was was cleaned up and had a minimal impact on the rest of the house. it was a wonderful experience "
"This included total removal and replacement of floor and walls (excl. ceiling). New floor, tub replaced by ornate shower, toilet and washbasin. Also included new paint. A real big job in a small space during the hottest part of last summer.
Everything went fairly smoothly with a small hiccup during demolition when asbestos was suspected while ...more taking up the floor. This held the project up for 5 days as they rested sample. It turned up negative. A good thing, too, as a positive result would have meant a separate project for asbestos removal, plus added cost. (Whew!) [Wipes sweat from
After that, it was smooth sailing. The project was completed only a few days behind schedule, solely because of the asbestos "scare". "
