Milwaukee Animal Boarders

"We left explicit instructions for the kennel to inform us when there was any health issues with our dog. When picking up our dog we noticed in their observational reports of our dog that he had blood in his stool on two separate occasions. We were never notified, as per our instructions, of these issues. After talking to the kennel attendant, who was ...more very defensive and argumentative, we were told it wasn't a big deal and thats why they didn't call. The owner came in and was somewhat apologetic and explained that it was the fault of the desk staff that didn't take down the correct information. In the past, we have taken our dog here and have had other problems with this kennel. We went on vacation for two weeks and when we picked up our dog he was very thin and on his notes it said he ate all his food, but yet was given bags of his food back to us. We also left explicit instructions to call our veterinarian with any health issues which wasn't done. Since our dog is older we expect to have peace of mind when boarding our dog.
