I took of work on 7/25/2014 to be there for the cleaners. Shortly after 1:30, my wife called the contact number and left a message indicating no one had shown up. After not getting a response, I called at 2:21, indicating no call/no show. I also sent a message through Angie's List. I got a call back at 4:45, from someone who said he was on his way to Florida to deal with a problem in the Florida office, and stated their was some sort of mixup for which he was apologizing. He also indicated that no one is in the office during the day, which is why they returned our calls so late. He offered to reschedule, but that's not acceptable to me. I am a consultant, billing by the hour. When I take of work, my company is deprived of my revenue for that day. I need to get value for time taken off work, and I got no value for this time. I will need to take another day of work to have the service I expected to be performed on 7/25/2014.
The apparent inability to respond during the day, and not being respectful of my time is a negative for me.
- Prices were extremely reasonable and cheaper than our prior and current cleaning service. Payment was very easy through our bank's automatic bill pay. When I accidentally overpaid one month due to cancelled cleans, I promptly received a refund check.
- Cleaning teams were hard-working and extremely efficient. They were fast!
- Over the 15 months, we realized that we were receiving very inconsistent service. Some cleans would be wonderful while others were subpar. The teams were not consistent at all. Attempts to address inconsistencies (like the above mentioned shower head and range hood) only resulted in temporary improvement.
- For a while, our clean times fluctuated wildly and a few times, we had the cleaning crew here at 7 pm at night while getting home from work and trying to prepare dinner. This improved after we complained a few times.
- We had 1 damaged item, which was not proactively reported by the crew to the front office and required us to contact
- Communication was sometimes lacking. When calling to discuss problems, we had several unreturned phone calls and emails from the office and even
In the end, we decided to try another cleaning service in the hopes of getting more consistency and responsiveness.
