"We selected J&J Contractor I because they were honest with us from the beginning and didn't make a big flashy presentation. We wanted to know what work would be performed, how much and how long it would take. They were very straight forward and there were no surprises of any extra work that needed to be done in the contract. They told us everything up front. They told us we would need our dormers siding redone and why. Other company's never mentioned this to us, but put it in the estimate. After receiving the contract it took a few weeks to hear back from J&J Contractor I . But once we got that call everything happened pretty fast. They were able to come out later that week! They arrived on time and finished within a few days. The gutters took a little longer to get installed due to the weather. Everyone we talked with was very courteous. We will definitely have them come back and replace the siding on the house. They will be our first go to company for other remodeling projects."

"In late February 2011, I called three roofing companies for an estimate for replacing my home's roof and gutters. Each company told me I would have a quotation for services within a week, but only of made an appointment to meet with me. Three days after I called the 3 companies, I had my quote from . Another roofer showed up the sixth day after my initial phone call, but did not provide the quotation until another five days later and only at my urging. That quote was over $2000 higher than 's. The third roofer never showed up, but called me several weeks later to say he was now ready to quote. I told him I had already made my decision. It's hard to believe that a small business would be so non-responsive in today's economy, but there it was. I decided that if he was so lackadaisical in trying to secure new business, his responsiveness during the actual job would only be worse. I called up and awarded him the contract. 's crew showed up on the agreed upon day bright and early and worked about 12 hours that first day. They were very professional and took care to protect my garden and property. The roof went up completely in two days and the gutters were all done on the third day. The yard was cleaned up. Since my old house had three layers of roofing, the tear down filled up the first dumpster and had to bring in a second dumpster. Obviously, this increased 's costs but he did not pass those on to me, honoring his quote, even when it required extra work to do the flashing (because of the gap between the now one of roofing and the aluminum siding. 's professionalism and responsiveness were very much appreciated. He made sure I was satisfied and his guarantee covering both labor and materials is unmatched. The roof looks great!"

"We meet -- 's father at the home remodeling show last spring. We were very impressed with him and 's product line. Late spring we had another contractor who did a major remodel on our house 10 years ago. They came in and gave us an estimate for a 3 tear down, new siding, soffits, gutters, and a new window for our bathroom. Their estimate was significantly higher than we expected--and they said they were giving us a 10% discount for being a returning costumer. Then we remember and had come in to give us an estimate. explained his company was one of five certified roofers in the Milwaukee Area for GAF (the other contractor was one also) We were very surprised when came in with an estimate $10,000 less alone for the roof. So that started a conversation that ended with us adding to the roof, siding, gutters a covered porch for the front of the house. We had the plans already drawn but the contractor we had had to cancel because of a family matter so and , gave us an estimate that matched the price we got 4 years ago. The plans needed tweaking and and --one of the other wonderful crew/carpenters in the team did a fantastic job. and found some fiberglass columns for the porch and they just look fabulous. They really gave us the craftsman style we wanted. In the inside we now had a new smaller window for the bathroom--so that meant we need to replace the title--that leads us to gut the bathroom. did the gutting and installation new drywall and of a new toilet, vanity, faucets, and shower. All employees are true professionals-craftsmen who are hardworking, pay attention to details, that are friendly and do beautiful work. We are extremely pleased with the results and by the praises we are hearing from our neighbors and friends"

"Excellent. Great work and suggested the most cost effective way to re-route downspout so water moves away from house. I had estimates from 4 others and they ranged from $150 - $450 and some suggested all gutters and downspouts should be replaced. I appreciated 's willingness to work with the most cost effective solution. I would definitely hire again."

"I initially called for an estimate between Christmas and New Years. A gentleman named came to the house, took a look at the existing gutters, and informed us our gutters would work with the Leafproof toppers. gave us an estimate within the week, which we mailed back mid January. After hearing nothing for weeks, I called the company and left a message, which was not returned. During the second half of February I called again, leaving another message. This time I received a call back from someone who apologized and looked for our signed contract. He told me that was no longer employed with their company, and he was sorry we had been "lost." He promised that our job would be done during March.
On April 1, I called again and reminded them that March had passed, we had been forgotten again, I now felt like I was begging them to do our gutters, and I wished to cancel the contract. He countered with a 5% discount and an offer to do the job the next day, on Good Friday. After some consideration, my husband and I chose to have the job completed, but on Monday, April 4 instead, which was more convenient for us.
When we arrived home from work on , we noticed that our gutters looked ragged. My husband called and was told that a crew would be sent to correct the installation. This was repeated every couple of weeks until June 14, when someone showed up when my husband was home. He was finally able to point out exactly where the problems remained, and they were corrected.
Our gutter topper job ended up taking just short of 6 months to complete."

I only talked to them once, they did not answer further phone calls or voice mails. He did offer to take payments in installments."

"I had saved some wood in case it could be used for future repairs. When Connection came, I pointed out these pieces and he was able to use some of them to fix the fascia. This cut down the cost for me. He did a good job on the project. I am very satisfied with what they did and would probably use them again. "

We chose to go with the most expensive option of half round gutters that would match the original architecture of our home. He was very patient waiting for our exterior paint job to get finished. The job was completed on time, good clean up and the gutters look great! "
