"Our garage door would not open and close all the way on a consistent basis so we called and I was able to talk with a live person not a voicemail which was very refreshing. She scheduled a service man for the next day. He came on time and diagnosed the problem as a short in the motor of our old opener. He told us that this was a common problem with older openers. He recommended a new opener and quoted a price of $370.00. By the end of the week the new opener was installed. The installer called us before he came and he even arrived earlier than scheduled. The installation took about 1 hour. He explained basic instructions and answered all of our questions. He was a courteous and efficient worker.

"Called them late on a Wednesday, and the were out to repair my garage door early Thursday morning. The service tech was very professional and had everything completed in under one hour. I can't say that the price on a pair of torsion springs was the cheapest you could get them for because they can cost anywhere from $61 to $94. I paid $140 for the pair with a $90 service charge. I did mention Angie's List ad and received a $10 senior discount. Overall, I felt the service was very good and lots cheaper than it would be for any possible injuries (including frostbite) I could sustain by trying to do this job myself.

"Most of the work went smoothly, but it wasn't completed in 1 day as originally anticipated. It ended up taking 4 visits before the work was complete. The track system for the existing door did not allow for the door to clear low enough under the operator and "pulley" system so the new door was installed but not operable on that day. Also, the first 2 installers did not know how to program the remotes. Their explanation was that this was a new garage door that they hadn't had experience installing yet.

It took 2-3 more visits over the course of a week before the door and track system could be fixed and we had a second garage door opener (that did not arrive until the last visit and operates although it doesn't match the other opener that came with the new opener). Haven't had any issues once the install was complete.

"They were excellent and most importantly worked around my crazy schedule. I first had issue w/door opening only about a foot. Thought it was the ancient Genie door opener so I purchased new Craftsman opener from

which was installed on a Tuesday. Same issue occurred when the guy tried to open the door w/new opener. He said it had something to do with tension and adjusted a few things on the opener and got the door to work fine. On Friday afternoon the door suddenly wouldn't close. Called Consolidated Door and they were able to send someone over within the hour. He determined the spring was broke and was able to install a new spring within the next hour so I didn't have to wait until Monday. Since the door was an older "do-it-yourself" model, you were not able to physically see the springs to determine one was broken as they were located inside the door.

should have known this when they encountered the same issue with the door not opening fully and how difficult it was to raise the door, however, the guy didn't know and was a relatively new installer. Hopefully, I didn't damage the new door opener by using it for a couple of days with a door that had a broken spring. Lesson learned...call Consolidated Door first, not

, when dealing with garage doors or door openers!

"My home was built in the late 1800s so the door was a special order due to the odd size. He came out gave me a more than fair estimate and date for the door to be in and ready to install. He came that day and it is absolutely beautiful. He even replaced some bad wood that was danaged when someone tried to break in, which is why the door had to be replaced to begin with. He also reinforced it to ensure it will not be easy to break. He was awesome.

"all went well!
called them several weeks later, after receiving confirmation of payment, to ask if the 10% angies list discount was applied, because on the estimate and the invoice it did not show the discount - I did mention that I was a angies list member and would like the discount. given an answer that just did not sound right. am not sure if I, in fact, did get the discount.

was contacted after meeting with another contractor who reviewed our situation, and that we were uncomfortable with hiring.
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
set my mind at ease over the phone by listening to my recap of our previous meeting with the other contractor and our needs.
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
thought he could do better for us and described what he could do. He felt he could install the door and opener we wanted the following Monday; I was calling him on a Wednesday. He called his supplier to confirm the door we wanted was in stock and called back within the 1/2 hour to let me know it was a go. We had already purchased the garage door opener; he agreed to install it for the labor since they would already be there.
The day of the install his workers were a little late, but called to let me know when they would be there. I had called
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
before they called because I was nervous about the installation. My husband is very particular and the previous contractor had us very concerned about whether the install would go well due to his comments regarding our garage leaning(?); it wasn't.

workers arrived on a very cold morning and introduced themselves. After relaying my concerns to

, he assured me all would turn out well and that we had a few options if the job was not to our liking. So with

leading the crew, I calmed down and went inside to let them work.
Next I looked, the door was in and they were working on the opener. I noticed
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
was even cleaning the new door windows and areas where there were a few fingerprints. I was thrilled with the speed of the install, the friendliness of the installers and their professionalism. I liked that they didn't dismiss me when I had questions. It was obvious
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
knew exactly what he was doing, and the perhaps odd situation we had of a garage leaning. All turned out superb, not a problem at all.
Our neighbor came over to look after the install, so jealous; the door really does look good and runs quiet and smoothly. Thank you

"My husband had been fiddling around with the garage door for months. One of the wheels had worn out and he put in plastic washers, cardboard, spit, what-have-you. Finally, I had enough and called
Milwaukee Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
because they were highly rated on Angie's List and the business was located close by. They came the same day, fixed the problem quickly, and charged me much less than I was expecting. In fact, I have passed their name onto a few other friends and given them rave reviews. Thanks.
