"It was a Sunday morning and the garage was not functioning. We checked with Ace Hardware for help and they referred us to . was very prompt in answering the phone and mentioned that it sounded like a broken spring. He told me that to get both springs chnaged would be $225 and it would be twice that if he came out on a Sunday. He also told us how to open the garage temporarily. So, we opted for him to come the next day. came the next day and he saw that one of the panels was sagging and suggested that fixing the spring would not solve the problem in entirety. He suggested that we get a new door. Gave us a brochure and left as I was undecided. Later, I called to fix the springs. convinced me why we needed a new dooe. our door was 50 plus years old and was a drain on our relatively new motor. So, we got the door installed the very next day. His team was very organized and quick at their job."

"Our overhead garage door was getting noisy opening and closing. It was also very out of balance when I disengaged the opener and tried to lift it manually and I feared this may be putting an undo strain on the opener motor, chain, and associated parts. The garage was built in 2001 and we hadn't had anything done to it since we bought the house in 2006 so we figured it was time for some maintenance.
I don't recall the name of the service tech but his initials on the invoice are RK. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional.
I pointed out that one of the rollers looked rusty. He could have easily replaced it and charged us for that but he said he cleaned it up and it was still in good shape. (My sign of a good contractor is one that could make more money replacing good parts but is instead honest with the less-than-knowledgeable customer.)
He did replace a cable and he showed me where it was starting to rust. With the cable our total bill came to $91 but we printed out the 10% coupon of their Web site and gave it RK. Our garage door is now quiet and opens and closes smoothly. We were very satisfied and felt it was well worth the $82."

"I called on a Monday and asked if they could come Tuesday afternoon.
They said yes and that they would call before coming.
They called at 7:30am (a little early!) on Tuesday and asked if they could come
in the morning instead. I said yes and we agreed on 9am.
They came and did their work very neatly and left.

" was able to send a tech out the day the I called - a wire had broken and my door was stuck down with the car in the garage. Whew !!! The door was very old and needed to be replaced, so they ordered a new door for me and replaced it - it looks and works great!"

"Long and short . . . I had come out the following Tuesday for a $59 ?tuneup? to see what all was wrong. Two people came and they worked very efficiently; I learned most people at the company are ?family.? I watched as they did what they do best. The battery in my keypad was just fine that day. But since it wouldn?t work during the winter, there had to be something wrong with the keypad. It was about 4 years old. I purchased a new one for only $25. Also the remote I was using had a crack in it; new one was $25. The 2 lights on either side of the garage door were somewhat out of line, which they adjusted. I watched as they adjusted some screws and lubricated and ?tuned? all moving parts. They were here probably 15-20 minutes and then headed out for what they said was a full day?s work. The people were very congenial and were happy to answer the questions I had. The door now works SMOOTHLY for the first time in years. The only negative thing I can see is about me ? I wish I hadn?t waited so long to have them come out. It would have saved me a lot of frustration over the last couple years. "

"I had to leave a message on voice mail when I called that I was interested in an estimate. I never received a call back. They just showed up by my garage door about 1 week later. I wasn't sure who they were at first. They were the least expensive of 3 bids; however, there is a lot of phone tag because it's a small family business. There is no one at the office much of the time, and you have to make an appointment if you want to see their showroom. I called twice for appointments. No one met me the first time. The doors were locked. No one was there the second time, but when I called to say I had an appointment, I got a call back that he was there now. So I went back. At first I was going to get an Ideal brand door. They told me they had everything in stock and I could even have the door the next day. I decided to go with a cheaper brand and they told me they had to order it and it should come the end of the week. It took 3 1/2 weeks. However, they are knowledgeable, installed the door quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They're also very nice."
