originally, 2 sales people told us it usually averages about $5.00/sq ft. even considering the 12' width of vinyl sheeting. we saw them in early april, 2013. we mentioned to them we needed it done by end april. aside from some miscommunication from a couple of sales people and the fact that we had to go to both locations to find the right vinyl, they originally priced us at $4,000! but with some coupons, we brought the price down. three weeks later, when the vinyl finally came in, is was the wrong one! they tried to tell me that it sometimes looks different outside, etc. so we were correct it was the wrong vinyl, so they had to

that one down temporarily and we waited almost three weeks more for the correct one! Now, we're in May, we are extremely busy, and with total exhaustion, we had the new floor put in. there were some unprofessional comments made and unprofessional work done in certain spots, i.e. edges, large bumps under vinyl, corner several bumps, seams showing with excessive glue and not straight. so they sent a repair guy, he said he didn't have the right tools! he came again, tried to fix the bumps in the corner to

it flat. still several bumps on it. looks bad. they did fix the seam. disappointing.

Overall the experience was great. They were very nice at the store when helping us pick out the carpeting and vinyl. They sent out a guy for the estimate right away. Scheduling was tricky because they are very busy but they also ended up getting the job done the two days after Christmas which I was pleasantly surprised about. They weren't the cheapest option so I gave them a C (fair) on the price because it was more than a lot of other quotes, but the service and quality of the product we got was worth the extra money. Would recommend them and use them again in the future.

The installation took place in 2 parts. The first day I was one of the last stops, and 2 younger installers showed up. I was a little disappointed that my noon appointment didn't start until 4 PM, because I had taken the day off of work. They were there till after 7 PM which was difficult because everyone was home and we had plans.
The second half of the installation I requested a first morning appointment. One installer showed up (an older gentleman) and was at my home from 8 AM till after 4 PM, installing one bedroom, hall and stairs by himself. He seemed exhausted and ready to leave afterwards, and didn't even vacuum up any of the carpet tidbits that were left behind. Needless to say, I wanted to support the small family business, but clearly they need a few more installers to get the job done in efficiently. My co worker had the same carpet installed by a larger company. They had 3 installers, who vacuumed and were out of her home in 3 hours.
My sister just had

On his first visit, he estimated all of the costs, explained everything in detail, and it went very well. To replace our wood in our half bath and made the floor more sturdy for our ceramic tile to go in.

This was the first time I hired professionals to complete any home projects. After speaking to a few different builders/contractors, I selected
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
for several reasons: he listened to what I wanted but tactfully informed me when there were better choices, he has vast carpentry experience and is skilled at working with old houses and all that comes with them, his bid was the lowest while still using quality products. I also felt comfortable with

, and as a single mom it was very important to me to trust the people who would be working in my home.
The timeline for the project ended up being a few weeks longer than predicted, but how many remodels finish on time, anyway? There were a few hiccups with floor sub-contractors, but the end product was really beautiful. If I had to do anything over, I probably would have gone over details with everyone involved, like the flooring guys.

actually did the

's share of the work on his own and kept me informed as he worked. He was also always available to me through calls or texts.
Something that I didn't expect to happen was paying the exact amount quoted to me in the project bid. That was definitely appreciated! I started with a kitchen stuck in the 1950's and ended up with a modern, yet classic, kitchen that I'm happy to come home to every day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

or work with him again.

Lent me a very large sample of the flooring, so I could see how it would look in a basement rec-room and bathroom. Punctual and professional. No iffy subcontractors. They dealt with the issue of adhesive on the floor from the tile without whining and complaining to me, which I appreciate. Sometimes when workers run into difficulties they go on and on about the headaches of doing the work--not so with
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. Were thoughtful about avoiding seams. They knew what they were doing.

was very helpful in explaining what products

I contacted
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
after receiving estimates from several companies and the large home improvement stores. Almost every contractor told me that I had a single option which was to completely remove my subfloor and replace it.

from
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
spent a good amount of time looking at my kitchen and came up with a couple different ideas as to how I could proceed. They were honest with me about these options and in the end even suggested going a route which saved me several hundred dollars and still gave me an excellent result.

removed my old vinyl, leveled my floor and then put down the new vinyl I had chosen. They installed the flooring on 5 stairs and edged the stairs as well. They also installed a few threshholds into different rooms.
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
gave me the option to buy my materials myself using his contractor discount at a respected flooring store which saved me 20% on the material cost. He did not

up the materials at all.
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up on time and even finished the work in one long day instead of two as was scheduled.
The end result is great. The floor looks wonderful and I have zero complaints with the workmanship. Even the little details like the stair edges are done right. The workmanship just shows a lot of pride even in the smaller details. I don't know that the floor could look any better with the materials used.
About a week after the flooring was down, I tore a couple holes in the vinyl moving a fridge (which
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
had warned me about) and I called him for a repair. He got back to me promptly and came out after work hours to make the repair. The repair was done perfectly (I can't even find the damaged area) using leftover material I had from the original job.
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
then did not charge me for the repair! I was shocked that he offered a free repair on a floor that I had obviously damaged.
In all, I am 100% satisfied with
Milwaukee Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. They were professional, friendly, courteous, prompt, and the resulting floor exceeds my expectations. I can recommend them with complete confidence.

They were fine. They came when they said they would and did a good job. They were professional and reliable. They responded to my questions and issues. However, I have only had one experience so far.
