Reviews for Milwaukee Carpet Installers

"I had run all over town to the various carpet stores to find quality carpet for the lowest price I could find. We had planned on putting our home on the
shortly after the install, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money, but we still wanted quality
After I explained my situation at every place I went to, I would usually be taken to some back part of the store where they would
show me 5 different carpet samples for me to choose form. They were never even close to the color ranges we were looking for. Most of the samples were odd colors and seemed to be of extremely cheap quality. Nothing seemed to fit the beautiful master suite we spent a lot of time creating for someone to enjoy.
I finally ended up at Best Carpets. At first I was a bit reluctant to go there , as I had not heard anything about them, but
I am soo happy I did. Not only did they have several choices for me to choose from in my color range, they seemed to understand that just because we were selling the house, that didn't mean we want a cheap job done. They explained the process to me, and gave me several samples to take home. Then after I had chosen the color, they sent someone over a day or two later to have a professional installer estimate the amount of carpet we would need. The carpet was then ordered and 10 days later we had it installed, and it looked amazing! The installer they sent was very professional and curious and did a wonderful job. There was not a knick or scratch on any of the walls or which baseboards we had just installed. I was extremly impressed.
Because of this experience, once we are ready for carpet on our new home, I will only shop for carpet at Best Carpets.

"Despite the fact that we did not buy here this time WE WOULD GO BACK.
Our salesman was
. We very much appreciated that he focused on our requirements rather than trying to sell us something else. He helped us select good quality padding with low VOC.
We bought elsewhere because our carpet of choice was on sale at a price
couldn't beat. The sale price made the difference for us.
I believe this company deserves a good review, even though we did not buy here. Their prices are competitive and their employees are helpful.

Milwaukee Carpet Installers Reviews

"Love that they where able to get my installation done with short notice. I didn't have time to go into the store to look at samples so I spoke to them over the phone. Carpet that was selected and installed was what I was looking for and would not hesitate to do business with them again.
"The installation took place in 2 parts. The first day I was one of the last stops, and 2 younger installers showed up. I was a little disappointed that my noon appointment didn't start until 4 PM, because I had taken the day off of work. They were there till after 7 PM which was difficult because everyone was home and we had plans.
The second half of the installation I requested a first morning appointment. One installer showed up (an older gentleman) and was at my home from 8 AM till after 4 PM, installing one bedroom, hall and stairs by himself. He seemed exhausted and ready to leave afterwards, and didn't even vacuum up any of the carpet tidbits that were left behind. Needless to say, I wanted to support the small family business, but clearly they need a few more installers to get the job done in efficiently. My co worker had the same carpet installed by a larger company. They had 3 installers, who vacuumed and were out of her home in 3 hours.
My sister just had

"All in all, it was fine. Not STELLAR, but fine. I was selling my house and needed some inexpensive carpeting for one bedroom and a hallway.

came out between two of his other jobs to take measurements and show me some samples -- which I appreciated -- and to my delight was able to do the job within a very short amount of time.

demeanor is on the serious side and he doesn't smile much, but he is informative and direct. So, my options were at least clear even if I wasn't terribly impressed with his serious demeanor.
I was not present when the carpet was installed, but my family friends who were on site indicated that the installers were punctual, friendly, and hardworking. They cleaned up after themselves.
I'm not sure why one hallway and a small room would be $439, but it got the job done and the carpeting looks very nice. I would not

out using them again in the future, but I would also shop around a bit more as I was pressed for time on this job and had to make a quick decision.
"We had a good deal when we bought the carpets but when they washed my carpet it looked dirtier but I didn't call them and complain."
"Things started out ok. When the survey was made, they appeared professional, experienced and comprehensive. Then when installation started it was as if there was no communication between the salesman and the operations. We had hardwood floors and two rooms of carpeting replaced. The floors needed to be partially leveled, which wasn’t done. We requested and paid for a spare box of flooring, which was never delivered. Then we have had to argue to have the full terms of the contract completed. Shoe molding took five visits to complete, and thresholds were only provided after threat of withholding payment. The most absurd was when they initially tried to the carpet, it had been measure so that seams were running in the highest traffic zones, despite the room being small enough to have zero seams whatsoever. I’d stay away from them at all cost. Non-responsive and difficult"
"A sales associate talked me through the different carpet options available and took time showing me samples. I took a few home to see them in the room where they'd be installed and returned to the store to schedule an installation date. They worked with me on a date and time that was convenient and kept me informed as they checked on stock, etc....more />
The installers were on time and worked quickly and quietly. They vacuumed and cleaned up all debris. After they left I realized the threshold between the bedroom and hallway was loose ( it hadn't been prior to the installation). I called and they scheduled a return visit to make sure everything was finished to my satisfaction.

On the return visit they were also right on time and quickly took care of securing the threshold, and again cleaned up all mess made. I love the new carpet and will definitely use

"One installer showed up, and I thought it was odd, that they should have at least 2, to get the job done quickly. But to my pleasant surprise, he was able to do it all by himself; Quite the Expert!

It only took him under 3 hours to install my carpet. And i couldn't even smell a hint of chemical! The airing out worked!

There was something that I didnt care for, which was when removing the old padding, he neglected to tape it up in a roll, but just rolled it up and set it by the garbage cans for the garbage men to take. It rained that day, and the old padding got wet and partially collapsed ... had it been taped, it wouldve kept its' shape for the garbage men to easily grab and toss in the truck. I was surprised that he didnt dispose of it himself (took it with him in his van)."
"We have needed new carpeting for at least a couple of years, but it covers such a large percentage of our living space, that moving every piece of furniture, including bookcases, entertainment center, computer and accessories, not to mention the tropical fish tank, was just too much to absorb at first. We had already viewed

reports on Angie's List and had visited the store many months before we were finally ready to proceed.
This time we took one quick look at the new reports on the List and paid another visit to the store. They let us take several samples home for a few days so we could see the colors in our own home. We made a decision and ordered carpet on Sunday, September 25. We were told that we would be called in a few days when the carpet was on its way so we could schedule installation. We waited more than 2 weeks. I finally called the store, and was informed that the carpet had been back-ordered and was being shipped that very day. Because it takes my husband a week to get a day off approved, we scheduled installation for the following week, October 20.
The installers arrived on time that morning, removed the old stuff, cleaned the floor and installed the new pad and carpet. They did a lovely job, and it is a vast improvement from what we had.
