Milwaukee Tire Shops Reviews

"My wife and I have historically been very dubious of auto mechanics in general. This is the result of several interactions with mechanics who took advantage of our lack of mechanical knowledge. We never knew if we were being duped into overpaying. For that reason, we procrastinated when things began to go wrong with our Subaru. We finally decided to use Angie's List to find a mechanic. Our experience with

put us at ease from the first moment.

's honesty and forthright manner was very refreshing. It was apparent that he wasn't just playing the role of honest mechanic, he was the real deal. He diagnosed each of our four problems and presented us with our options. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
"I work nearby, so I took my car in to have a leaky tire fixed. The tire had been leaking for about 3 weeks. Every few days I would have to put air in it. They had my car for about 4 hours and finally called and said that they were not able to find a leak. They said that they could take the tire apart and try to find it but that would cost an additional $40. I said no thank you and went to pick up my car. They charged me $25 and when I asked why I was being charged (because they couldn't find the leak) I was told that they put a lot of time into it and were charging me for that. Not wanting further confrontation, I paid it and left. I took my car to a different tire store and it was fixed with no question. I just don't understand why

couldn't find the leak but another place could (and in less than an hour have my tire fixed!).
"I actually used this place twice once to get four tires. and another time for an oil change and to check a noise in the front end of our 1998 mini van. I called on a tuesday for an appointment. made one for a saturday. called me back the same day. He wasn't sure he could get it done right away but I told him I really needed the vehicle on monday. he finished the job for me that day. his estimate was exactly what he charged me plus the tax..for both times i went there."
"I used this

does not take appointments, but when I ordered (and paid) for the tires over the phone, they said it should only take about 90-120 minutes once the tires came in stock. I considered this to be reasonable. The tires got in stock a little sooner than I expected, and they called right away to notify me they were in stock. So I arrived on a weekday at 11:30am, and they said it would take FOUR hours for my tires to be installed. This was very annoying, but I needed it done soon so I still let them take my car anyway. It took over SIX hours for a set of four tires and the alignment to be done, with no unusual problems with my car causing the delay. Most of the time my car sat in the shop waiting to be worked on. I wouldn't rate their friendliness or willingness to serve me very high, either. They weren't very apologetic about how long it would take. Clearly they were understaffed even for a weekday, and considering their price wasn't that great, I don't plan on using them again."
"Riverside is terrific. I can always get my car in without a problem. I dropped it off at 8am and gave them my list of things I wanted fixed. Around 2pm I got a call saying everything was done. I picked up the car at 4:30. They even special ordered the light lens so I could have everything done same day."
"I called three days in advance, explained my service needs and specifically asked whether they would have the parts in stock. On the day of service, I dropped my car off at 8:00am and they were supposed to call me when done. At 4:00pm, I called them. They performed the following: - Oil Change - Tire Rotation - Windshield Wiper Replacement (I didn't request this work) Additionally, two items I did request and confirmed three days earlier that the parts were in stock were not performed. They told me the windshield wiper arm and muffler were out of stock and needed to be ordered. My rating reflects the poor customer service (they didn't call me, I had to call them) and the poor work (they did work I didn't request and didn't do work I requested and confirmed)."
"Excellent! Dick and

care for all our cars and are ALWAYS friendly, fair, fast, and most importantly HONEST. Several times I thought I was in for expensive repairs only to be told it was something minor. They run a business the way it should be done and I strongly recommend them!"
"I have used this store for oil changes very frequently and have always been happy with the rate and service. This is the first time I have used them for tires and was very pleased with the knowledge of the staff, the fact that they did not try to sell me more than I needed, and the timeliness of the work."
"Was able to find me a new tire within a day even though that particular brand was on back-order; price for tire was cheaper than a couple of other places I checked out; got a great price on installation and rotation of tires; professional throughout; I would not hesitate bringing my car back to them"

were courteous and honest, called for approval prior to any work being performed. Definitely recommend for auto service. All work performed in one day except for new tires which had to be ordered. They were able to accommodate me by installing in the morning, before I went to work while I waited."
