"Craftsman came to our house and gave us an estimate of the work (within a week of my initial contact with them). The repair area was relatively small, so the estimate was for the minimum amount the company would take ($550 + cost of wood - which, for our floors was only $100). We had also gotten an estimate from another company, $600. The first day of work, the workers were to show up between 8 and 9am. They did not show up until 12-noon and the company's co-owner did not call to let me know that they were going to be late b/c they had to finish up another job before coming to our house. This was the only problem we had with them. It took approximately 10 hours to complete the work (over 2 days), and it was almost perfect (a few tiny gaps between some of the old planks and the replaced planks, but you only see it if you are really looking for it). We were very happy with their work, and will definitely use them again (we have some other repairs and refinishing we need done)."

He finished all the work in an amazingly short time; and each day he left the work-site very, very clean. His prices were very reasonable. I just showed him some areas of concern I had in the house, and he was able to identify the origin of the problem (e.g. the windows needed re-caulking). No job seemed too large (the hole where our ceiling fell in) or too small (replacing broken window latches). I'm very, very pleased with his work. He went above and beyond the call of duty, replacing damaged wallboard he uncovered in the shower once he removed the tiles, and having to grout the tiles a second time due to our using the shower before the grout was fully dry. He did not charge us extra for this."
