They are not gentle at all. I suffered excruciating pain during my visit and after a few days my bridge ruptured and got dislodged. My teeth have suffered tremendously by choosing to go to them and cost me a fortune out of my own pocket because they over-bill and my insurance refuses to pay the full amounts they request. It's been a nightmare and I live in misery and worse more I have absolutely no recourse against their treachery.

I became a patient of Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
?s in March of 2008. Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
seemed very knowledgeable and reasonable. But in one sense I had an uneasy feeling about Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
from the start, as I felt that he was not fully listening to me as a patient. During my visits whenever I would voice a concern or a question, Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
would rush to reply, sometimes without fully understanding my questions. Additionally, when Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
worked on my teeth, he was rough, which often caused undue pain and discomfort following treatment. Despite these negative factors, I decided to stay with Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
as I perceived him as very competent and confident. I felt that a little pain was not a big deal if the work done on my teeth would be good in the long run. I also liked Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
?s staff, who were knowledgeable and accommodating. As it turned out, what I initially perceived as confidence and competence would later turn out to be arrogance, but I would not know this until much later. I have even given feedback to Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
about my experiences and he was receptive, but he never truly changed. For example, to avoid the pain, he just gave me much more anesthetic, but still did not take care to be more gentle. My feeling is that Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
has not been attentive to my feedback (e.g. on several occasions when I told him that something was wrong, he would not fully listen to me and just rush to reply without fully understanding the concern). I overlooked this for a long time, because I just figured that Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
was very knowledgeable and competent. I felt that I was just annoying him with my questions. After all, who was I to question and educated and experienced Dentist. If he says he knows the answer then he must really know it. The above all came to a head when serious problems occurred on Tooth # 15, which had first been treated by Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
in June 2009, and then repeatedly several times over the next 22 months. This was followed by a related problem in Tooth #14. Tooth #15 had been treated several times with progressively more aggressive treatments as the condition of this tooth got progressively worse. Moreover, by focusing on saving tooth #15 (a second molar) with aggressive treatments that are known to have a low probability of success, Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
was putting tooth #14 (first molar) at risk. As a patient, I would have liked to have been told about the risk to tooth #14 and I very likely would have made the decision to let #15 go if it meant that this would increasing the chances that #14 would be safer. As it turned out, in March 2011 Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
performed a filing on tooth #14, after which I returned repeatedly indicating that there was something wrong with tooth #14. Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
all but ignored the obvious signs of problems with #14 and just continued to assume that the issues were related to #15. At this point, I decided to seek the opinion of other dental experts and as it turns out, my concern was this was validated as tooth #14 was diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis. The course of treatment recommended by Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
had
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
me to experience significantly higher expenses, pain and lost time than necessary with both tooth #15 and tooth #14. These treatments have caused me to exceed my annual dental insurance maximum and incur significant out of
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
expenses, to the tune of $2,188. Additionally, it is likely that tooth #15 could have been saved had a root-canal been performed on it in 2009 rather than a filling. In 2011 I stopped using Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
as my dentist and switched to another provider (with whom I have been happy ever since). I wrote to Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
explaining my situation and requested assistance with my out of pocket expenses. I contacted Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
directly with this request, instead of using the legal system and filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry. However, I never received any response from Dr
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
or from his office. It has taken me a very long time to write this review but I hope that this helps others to avoid unnecessary pain and discomfort.

.The dying / dead tooth was not found at my last cleaning appointment; however, it caused an infection in the neighboring tooth, which fortunately, I inquired about early. The work was done within a couple of days. The dentist had to work around a wire I have to hold my teeth in position. I was never in pain and only minimal discomfort. The prescription pills were larger than I requested, so I had to deal with that, but everything healed nicely.

Dr. Rakusin was referred to me by a family member, and it was a lifesaver. He was able to complete 2 root canals on my mother in one visit with very little discomfort for her. The combination of professional expertise, bedside manner, and respect was a

They do excellent work and their costs are very affordable. The office staff is really friendly. They have filled cavities, done root canals, as well as annual cleaning for me. They are very professional and do an excellent job of walking you through a treatment plan. After my initial visit, Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
explained all of the work that I would need done, explained the costs, and advised me on how to work with my insurance.

Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
and his staff are terrific and here's the story of why. I went to my normal dentist early Wednesday morning because I had a tooth that was abscessing and her staff got on the phone and talked with Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
's office to see if they could take me right away. Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
was willing to fit me in between patients even though he was fully booked.
When I got to the office, his staff was very welcoming and kind. Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
did a review of the X-rays and examined the teeth. He was able to confirm which tooth needed a root canal and was very quick to perform the procedure. I think it only took 30 minutes to numb my mouth and complete the procedure. Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
is very personable and made me feel comfortable during the whole procedure. His staff was great too! They went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed the entire time I was in the office.
The next evening, Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
called me to see how I was feeling. I appreciated his concern and follow-up.
As a side note, this is the second time in four years that I have needed to see Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
as an emergency patient and my first visit was just as good as this most recent visit.

I needed a dentist and I looked in the phone book and I found him. I then called a veteran and she told me about him that he is very good. I needed someone very close so I went to him and he did an excellent job in a very timely manner. He does some root canals and the ones which are very complicated he refers them out.

I love him to death, I wouldn't change, he is good with kids, he is great, his personality stands out, he cares about his patients and he is good with children. I have never had any problems getting with him because our appointments are scheduled automatically. My daughter is twenty eight and she has been seeing him since she was two. I have never thought about changing. My children came home from college to see him. I have never had an issue or a problem.

I arrived at the apppointed time, was cheerfully greeted by his receptionist, and awaited my turn. After consultation about the procedure I put on my iPod and was worked on.The work proceeded per plan and I left a happy camper having endured what many perceive to be the most horrific experience. Dr.
Miami Endodontic Provider Name Locked
and his staff were able to lower the anxiety level and he gave me prescriptions for inflection and pain medicines. Later that evening he called to check on my condition. Hopefully that will be last visit but if needed I would cedrtainly return for another root canal. This was the second one he performed for me.
