Client says Miami-area computer repair failed to fix PC

COMPLAINT: Beverly Kellman, Boynton Beach

Mr. PC Fix took my old computer to their shop because they couldn't fix it during their visit to my home. They realized my computer wasn't repairable and offered to build a new one for $400.

I had to take the new computer back to them twice, and they charged me $50. Once the new computer was finally hooked up, it didn't have sound.

I called them, and they told me they couldn't walk me through the problem over the phone. They said they'd call me after they returned from vacation, but I still haven't heard from them.

DESIRED RESOLUTION: I want them to pay for another company to restore the sound.

This member brought in her PC with a bad motherboard. I explained to her it wouldn't be cost-effective for her to repair the PC.

I sold her a new one, and we installed it at no additional cost. She then called weeks later saying she had no sound. A technician went out and resolved the issue.

The member then came to the shop to complain that she couldn't access her games. I explained to her there would be a charge for the repair.
