I had my car reservation from
set for last weekend
11, 2014. We had to wait 1.5 hours just to talk to an counter agent. When we got to the counter, the agent informed us our minivan was not available even though I had booked the reservation months in advance and even called a few days before to make sure they had our reservation in the system.
Since the account was prepaid they charged us for an upgrade vehicle. But when we got outside, it was a smaller
SUV and not an upgrade from an minivan. By that time, we had already waited 2 hours for an rental car and the manager walking in the parking lot said to just speak with customer service when we return the car.
I Just called customer service and they are refusing to refund the upgrade charge even though we did not upgrade our vehicle. The customer service department did a poor job inputting details and not helpful at all.
I Will not ever rent from
again and will tell all my family and friends to not rent from them. Very slow response time and very disorganized. I would rather pay more money and use a different car rental agency such as Enterprise so we can start our vacation off better next time.

My experience with Enterprise Car Rental resulted from a personal auto claim for hail storm damage to my car on April 3, 2014. I carry full coverage on my car, and as such, my insurance company arranged for me to pick up a rental car at Enterprise in

, TX while my car was in the body shop for repairs. I called the Enterprise office to confirm they had the claim information, and to make an appointment to pick up a vehicle. When I arrived for my appointment, the small office was so crammed with people, there was standing room only. Apparently this April 3rd hail storm affected a lot of people, however given that I was there on May 19, seven weeks since the storm had hit, I thought I would have avoided this influx of customers. It took 40 minutes for a

to help me. Because it was close to closing time, and there were still quite a few waiting customers after me, the

checking me out rushed the through process. He hardly looked at the vehicle, and because I had already been there for 45 minutes, I was beyond ready to leave, so I didn’t inspect for damage as closely I should have. However, since I ended up driving it for the next 32 days, I noticed two things. There were two dings less than an inch in size on driver’s side, front and rear door panels. Also, the vehicle had high mileage for a rental at just under 50k. Also, I thought it rather odd that I was required to put $50 deposit on the vehicle, as my full coverage includes rental, and was covering all expenses related to this claim, except for my deductible, payable to the body shop repairing my car.

Nothing happened to the car for the month that I drove it; no damage, no oddities, etc. I returned the vehicle on June 19, 2014. Again, there was a line of people in the cramped office. When I got to the top of the line, the
immediately asked which car

I was returning, as she was already walking outside to do a quick inspection of mine and one other vehicle. She had no

paperwork in hand, nor asked for mine. She returned almost immediately, and announced loudly (so that everyone in the

office could hear) that there was a huge
(emphasis on huge) on the car and that she would have to open a

claim. I was shocked, and asked her to show it to me. I followed her to the vehicle, at which point she walked towards the rear, wide eyes scanning the vehicle, and then waved her in the general direction of the rear roof on the passenger

side, where the roof curves to meet the rear windshield frame. Because she waved in the general direction, I

asked where again, as there was no “obviously huge”
. She indicated again by vaguely waving her hand towards the general area, and halfway pointing, as she stated again “there’s a huge
.” Again, emphasis on huge. I absolutely did not see any
, other than where the roof naturally curves to meet the car frame at the rear windshield.

As she practically ran back into the office, loudly insisting she would have to open a claim, I kept repeating that I did not see a

, and was basically in shock, because not only had she made this accusation of damage where none existed, her
of voice had become increasingly accusatory since I initially questioned her claim of damage. I followed her into the office, letting her

know in no uncertain circumstances, that I did not see nor was there in fact any damage. She insisted there was and continued

to act in such ugly and accusatory manner, that I felt I had to leave the physical location.

Two weeks later, I received a letter from Damage Recovery Unit of
indicating they are investigating damage. I want to say that throughout this entire episode, the
spoke in a loud, abrasive, derogatory and accusing
of

voice, almost as if she were trying to cause a scene. I was appalled at such behavior downright shocked at the outright lie she claimed. As such, I did not think to take a picture of the car. This is my only regret other than having ever done business with them in the first place.

the reservation online was easy, and intuitive, the driver was waiting for us inside the terminal with a neat Ipad sign. he helped us with the luggage ( We have seniors with us), and drove us safely to Galveston, the car was fairly new, and smelled good. He was professional in his driving skills. we all liked it.

This was one of the most pleasant car rental experiences we've ever had. The agents were very professional -- knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The car itself was extremely comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely go back to Enterprise at 88th Place the next time we need a rental and recommend them without reservation.

I have used this budget rental location in the past, and I am glad I went back to them. While the upgrade in car was undesired (poorer mpg), the fact that they waived most of the exorbitant Budget corporate charge for gas was highly appreciated. (We were charged just above

These people are the best! I rent a car most weeks and they are always helpful and friendly. When I have special requests, they accommodate me without hesitation. Mondays are usually extremely busy but they work quickly and get everyone taken care of. Their upbeat attitude makes the whole experience more like seeing friends than work!

Overall, the experience was good, but I encountered a problem with the original rental and getting it replaced. Let me begin with the positives, and then I'll present the negatives. Positives:
Miami Rental Car Companies Provider Name Locked
' pickup and return process was very efficient. The shuttle service was easy to access and the drivers were very polite and helpful. The car was ready for me when I arrived, including the GPS I reserved. The wait time to get and return the car was minimal. The price quoted was the price I paid--no

costs.
Negatives: When I picked up the car, the representative was grumpy because of something else that had just occurred. So, while he wasn't rude to me, he also wasn't friendly. The car was keyless, which I was not used to, so I would have liked someone to give me a quick review of the features and how to use them--maybe each car should come with a "quick start" guide. As I took the car on the road, I noticed a thumping sound coming from the back right wheel--the higher my speech on the freeway, the

the thumping noise. I pulled off the road to check the tire and car in general; I didn't see anything wrong. When I resumed driving, I no longer heard the noise. I didn't drive the car that evening, and I drove it only on surface streets the next day. However, on the 3rd day, I drove it on the freeway again, and the thumping recurred. At almost 6p, I stopped at a local
Miami Rental Car Companies Provider Name Locked
location (Southfield) and reported the issue. The rep. told me to call roadside assistance because he didn't have a car to swap with me. I called roadside assistance once I returned to my hotel. The rep. (

) told me to go to a local

site to exchange the car. I told her no car was available. She tried checking another location, but it was closed (the local sites close at 6 or 7). She told me to drive back to the

, and I told her I didn't fee safe driving the car. She told me to wait until the morning to check another local

site.
In the morning, I checked with two other local
Miami Rental Car Companies Provider Name Locked
sites, neither had a car available. I called roadside assistance back and told them they needed to bring me a car from the
Miami Rental Car Companies Provider Name Locked
location, which was the only one that had cars available. I called at 7a, and finally received the replacement car at 11:20a. I believe the car should have been replace the night before, when I called. Instead, I didn't have a car Wednesday night or Thursday morning. When I tried to call the
Miami Rental Car Companies Provider Name Locked
manager or general number, no one answered (they know who's calling by the telephone number); I didn't even get connected with voicemail--the number just rang without being answered.
The good news is that I received a nicer car once it arrived. I also didn't have to complete any complicated paperwork. However, no one apologized and no one offered any discount or perk for my not having the use of the car. Paying over $50 a day for a full week's rental seems high, but I haven't compared prices so I'm not sure it is, although I will certainly check around the next time I rent a car.

It went unexpectedly well. Everyone involved was professional, courteous and considerate... just what you hope when dealing with a company but so seldom find. I never expected them to go so much out of their way and to not charge us at least a pick up or cancellation fee. I cannot imagine ever using anyone else now. And, while waiting at their Guldport office, I had a

It went well. When we got there the car we wanted was not available so we got a free upgrade to an even better car. The rental agent showed us some really cool features that the new car had. They were not pushy about getting their insurance ( Which other companies have been in the past.

The people at Enterprise in
Stow Oh are amazingly efficient and so friendly. They picked me up at my home in
Hudson at the exact time promised. This is a wonderful convenience if you need the temporary use of an additional car. The car ran perfectly and was just what I requested.
