"Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
listens carefully to the descriptions of your animal's problem. He asks about the home life to help figure out a course of treatment that will be easier to manage. My dog was diagnosed with heartworms last spring, and he gave me options on how to treat her. Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
understood that I couldn't afford a $1000 treatment that would keep a really active dog locked up in the house for the better part of 6 months. He was very honest about the pros and cons of both options. Every time I have called the office to ask a question, he has returned my call that day and will not press for an office visit if he can tell you what you need over the phone. Entire staff is pleasant and helpful..."

"we've been there several times and really like this vet. This is where we regularly take our cat and dog. The most recent visit was an annual check-up for both of them including vaccinations and it cost about $250. That's a little more than we've spent at other places like

in the past, but we think it is worth it."

"We use a particular vet there and it's well worth it. She is fantastic with the pets. Her name is

. We had a cat who swallowed a piece of foam and she had to do surgery to get the foam out because it expanded in his stomach. We had a cat stay there and then we had the flea treatment and we do our annuals there and she's just been great.

The whole staff is very caring and very professional. Whenever we have a problem they got us in right away. They answer questions whenever you have them. When our cat was sick and had surgery you could visit and they seem to really love what they are doing. We can always get in fairly quickly and they explain exactly what they are going to do and they try to minimize the cost for us. They have just been really good.

"I say this is a very good vet and the practice has very good people. I will use them practice again in the future. The price is very good; that's the reason I went. "

"I have been bringing my 15 year old cat here for about a year since I moved to Memphis. Since I have an aging cat he has some health problems he suffers from and the veterinarians and staff have been helpful and supportive and always make me feel like my husband and I are a part of his treatment plan. When his issues flare up I can call that day and bring him in at any time during their office hours and know he will be seen by a vet quickly. They have Saturday office hours (which is always when his illness seems to flare up!). He is on a prescription cat food and instead of just telling me to buy that food she explained how his disease works and what the food does to counteract it. She also gave me a lot of extra practical advice on things I can do to help him get all the food and water he needs to stay healthy.
I have never once felt like I was taking my cat into a business the way a lot of other animal clinics feel. They have never suggested unnecessary tests or procedures and they have completely explained the need for everything they have done. This hospital is located in a renovated historic home and it feels like you're bringing your pet to a relaxed place that wants to make your animal feel better.

"Overall the vets and techs have been great, while the front office staff was a little rocky a few years ago, but have been more responsive and professional the last number of years. My older cat has gotten to be a terror over the years at the vet, and they have been very good at dealing with her. The one thing I would like to see though is more communication from them about their practice. They are very good at sending out reminder cards, etc., but I had no idea Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
had passed away (which almost caused an embarrassing moment when I saw a new vet, but luckily I didn't say anything and later saw a memorial pic behind the desk). And I've seen two different vets the last two times I've been there, but really got no official introduction. I couldn't begin to say how many vets work at the practice and who they are. I guess a website would help. But in the end the most important thing is the care they give to my pets, and they have been excellent at that.

"In conclusion, if your dog needs vaccines, a heartworm test, a bath, or other run of the mill stuff, this place is okay. But if your dog is sick, DO NOT take it to
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. They do not think very much over there. Pay the money to take him or her to
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
(expensive, but thorough), PetVax or somewhere like that."

"I am very happy with them. The hours are great. I can drop my animal off before work and pick him up after work. My cat seems to be happy there. This facility was recommended to me by a neighbor who used them for her cats. "

"Our family had 3 dogs over the course of 20 years that have gone to Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. We LOVE him. He is caring, extremely knowledgeable and wonderful with our animals. We had 2 labs and a retriever. Our labs lived for 13 and 16 years and they have always gone to Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. If they were sick, it's scarey on how they knew that he would take care of them. They were never frightened at his office. When Mr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
(our 16 year old lab ) had such painful arthritis that we had to put him to sleep, Dr
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was there, crying with us. If we ever have another pet, I would not hesitate but to take him to the
Memphis Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. I recommend it to all my friends. I always get tears in my eyes when I think about my dogs and I know it sounds corny but at the same time, I remember how wonderful everybody there is and how well our dogs were treated.

"Previously, our pets had been treated at this particular clinic. With one of our former dogs, after spending tons of money and making several visits, one of the vets who we were seeing on this particular occasion decided to check our dogs thyroid and discovered that our dog had a thyroid problem. But, this was after 100s of dollars had already been spent and this should have been checked, based upon our dog's symptoms early on (I did not know that at the time though). I think that the clinic is way over priced for what they do. Most of the cost appears to cover the expensive location and not necessarily the quality of care. This is a decent clinic but certainly not worthy of an A rating overall in my opinion."
