and a helper connected quickly from my request on Angie's List. Easily set up an appointment to remove our junk. VERY responsive when I checked a couple of days before the scheduled visit.
When they arrived they went through the house to assess what needed to be done and then began taking stuff out to their truck....More /> We have a big

house with junk items on three of the floors.

was extremely careful in removing our junk - always being aware of our walls and doors.

is what I always want from a contractor: prompt, responsive, professional and skilled. I highly recommend them!

This company was deceptive. We ordered a 20 yard drop box for yard waste. The cost was approximately $250. What they didn't tell us is that there is an overage charge if you actually fill the box. the total weight of our yard waste was 5000 lbs. The bin was full. They said 3000 lbs of that was overage and charged us an extra $97. We called upon receiving the bill to try to reason with them. They would not budge.

I was called on 5/18/14 by someone offering me garbage service at a bargain price of $37.89 for three months. After I learned (the next day) that the sales person lied to me about the frequency of the recycling service (every OTHER week), I was not satisfied and called to cancel the service... which was to begin on 10/1/14. On 5/19/14 When I checked my bank account, I learned that they had already charged my account... 4 + months before the service was even to begin! Upon learning that my account was charged, I expected my refund within the typical 3-5 business day period. Not to be!!!! I was told that it would be 6-8 weeks before I would receive the refund!!! How can anyone these days expect a customer to wait that long for a refund for services that were never provided in the first place????
It has now been over 3 months (today is 8/27/14) and after a number of calls to this terrible outfit, I am still waiting for my refund.
I called them today and they said that I will need to wait another 5-10 MORE days until I see my refund. .... We shall see...
don't EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR GARBAGE SERVICE, AS THE WORD "SERVICE" IS NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARY!!!!

containers overflowing that have been sitting there for at least 3 weeks or more. There is even more trash there now which is blowing all over the yards and street. They will not empty or take their own containers. I have called them. They say someone will call about the situation. Never get a response back. I just went on line to ther web sight. I am willing to bet nothing will happen.

The twice-weekly trash removal has gone really well in the three months that I've used them so far. They are much more reliable than Waste Management ever was with me, and have never missed a day. They are also a lot less expensive than Waste Management. All positives.
I did have one problem though with them when it came to doing a one-time bulk removal of an old car top. They charged $30 (not at all unreasonable), which I paid up-front, but they never came and got the trash until I made repeated phone calls. I won't use that particular part of their service again, but I do think they do a commendable job with the regular trash pickups.

This was our first time using
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
and Dumpster bags and everything went great. We purchased the bags at our local hardware store and filled 2 bags with 4 rooms of torn out carpeting, pads and moldings and the entire flooring of a 16'x24' room. Filled both bags up but made sure that the two straps were able to come together at the top for pick up. We did the demo work on a Sunday and online I set up the pick up and by early Tues. morning a gentleman came with a truck and took away both of the bags. We have a narrow driveway so he parked the truck on the street and the crane and straps worked well. We would definitely use this service again!

The online booking tool is easy to use and understand.
They called on the morning I requested and gave a window for their arrival. They arrived at the time indicated, and quickly evaluated the volume of the material to be removed. They base their fee on how much space the stuff takes up in the truck in 1/8 truck increments.
They estimated my debris would take up 5/8 of their truck, and quoted the price. I approved the quote, and they began work immediately. I had two large piles of scrap wood with a lot of exposed nails, old carpet, and old paneling. One pile was in the basement, and they began there. They carefully removed everything from the basement, and then the garage. They placed small items in garbage bags. They took great care to pack items in the truck such that there was very little "empty space".
When they were done, they swept up the area in both basement and garage.
While the cost for this service is more than renting a dumpster, it was truly worth it, since I didn't have to haul this junk from the basement or garage into the dumpster.
The guys were very professional, and quick too - this little project only took them 45 minutes to complete, and I was able to get back to my day.
Great job!

In southern MD,
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
costs over $50/month for twice-weekly trash pickup. Often, pickup days would go by without the trash ever being collected. During one time period, five consecutive pickups were missed. All I got was a robo-call apology. No refunds on the bill, ever.
I got tired of them and hired a new company (Evergreen) that does it a lot more cheaply. Unfortunately,
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
doesn't seem to be taking "no" for an answer, and has continued to try to bill me for services after my (documented) cutoff date with them. They also never came and got their stupid green trash bin.
If you live in southern MD, go with Evergreen. They have some issues too, but they are not nearly as bad as

We had
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
for a long time, but in the last year they started leaving broken glass in front of each drive way. I guess when the truck compacts the trash it is not cleaned off or something and all the glass falls on the ground. After a flat tire, I called to complain ( a year or so ago) the guy told me he was sorry and would talk to the crew. Well nothing changed, I called and told them I was cancelling their service and the guy just said OK...did not ask why or willing to talk to me to save me as a customer. I also asked them not to turn around in my driveway as I still found glass and debris. Currently they still use my drive to turn the trucks around, and still leave glass. Can't they just clean the darn trucks!? I would go back to them if they cared about their customers.

Every Wednesday evening I have the same routine- go to the rear of my condo and wheel around the brown canister and place it in the correct direction at the end of the sidewalk adjacent to my front door. Every Thursday morning the big white truck comes around, the guy wheels the canister to the rear of the dump truck, and has the truck empty my canister. The truck
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
it and the guy wheels it back to its original location and they move on to my neighbors. This exceptionally
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
process has happened every single week since April without failure until this week 8/21/2014.
I was working in my front office with clear view of the neighborhood, including the trash cans lined up near my neighbors. I heard the familiar loud noises in my quiet neighborhood and happened to look out just in time to see the truck back in to pick up various trash cans from my neighbors. Then I watched them drive off. I called
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
Service and spoke with an exceptionally nice lady that said I wasn't the first call from my neighborhood and she would radio the truck and have them come back. While working in my home office I heard the truck come back for a second trip and back into the circular drive that sits in front of my condo. I saw a guy come from the truck, open my neighbor's canister to find it empty (as I watched them empty it the first time) and then walked back to the truck and drove away. Irritated at this point I then called back and told the very nice female that answered the phone what I had seen. She then proceeded to ask me if I was absolutely sure it was actually full. I told her I was positive and she placed me on hold. I walked outside and opened to canister to make sure I hadn't somehow missed something and I saw a full can. When she came back she asked the same question again and I told her I had the lid open looking at it. I was then asked if I was sure someone hadn't put their trash in my can. With it being in clear view of where I was working, I was positive. She said they would send them back out yet again.
At this point I had to drive to work for a meeting. While in the meeting I received a call/voicemail stating that the driver had been out a third time and my trash can was empty!! Irritated, I called and told her that if he had seen it empty then it wasn't my trash can he was looking at. That is when the alleged owner came on the line and asked me where I was placing the canister. I told her that it was in the exact same spot it had been in for months and it had been collected every single time. She then told me if it had been in the proper location then the driver would have picked it up. I told her it was in the same place in front of my condo as every other can that had been collected, including my next door neighbor. She continued to tell me that the driver had been on the route for 20 years and if my trash had been collected previously then he must have been driving where he shouldn't have been driving. Instead of finding a solution and expressing empathy for my frustration she was busy telling me how it must have been either my fault or the driver's since he must have been driving where he should have been for months. I was so frustrated by the end of the call that I ended the call properly (I didn't hang up on her) and just decided that I wouldn't get anywhere. If I had been properly explained as to why the truck didn't come to me but did my neighbors then I would totally get it, but there was absolutely no attempt at working toward an understanding or solution. This goes beyond just "
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
your trash ten-to-fifteen feet to the left," because as a customer I want to know why I've been picked up for months and without warning the driver just wouldn't pick up as usual until I ask them to come back for a fourth trip.
I don't feel the customer service was present at this level nor did I ask to escalate it to the alleged owner. I find there was no solution being offered by the company except to roll my canister 10-15 feet to my neighbor's condo and hope we all get our service collected. This is very unacceptable in my book as Customer Service 101 will tell you that you never push the problem onto the customer to figure out! You always come up with a solution!!! I will be searching for another service and will go with another company before renewing. This just isn't what I've come to expect from
Madison Trash Removal Provider Name Locked
Service and I'm highly disappointed in the lack of customer focus.
