"Called in . I'd had a hard time finding someone to come and do the work. He said he was super busy but came over to give me an estimate on the work. He said he wouldn't be able to get to it until September. I told him no problem as long as he could promise he wouldn't forget me. He called in September, gave me a date to start and started then promptly. He came everyday because of the drywall, did the railing in one day (not even) and the place was cleaned up every evening when I came home. He did a great job. Better than I had even hoped and for less money than I had thought."

" gave me an estimate that was comparable to other workers that I interviewed. He did the work in a timely fashion and it looked far better than I imagined it could. He was punctual and careful and did superb work. When we encountered something unforseen, he informed me immediately, talked to me in terms I could understand and recommended solutions that were very reasonable. I found him easy to work with and he was very willing to adapt to the schedules and requirements of other workers who were working in the house at the same time. I will call him first for any future remodeling or carpentry needs. I found him to be an honest, very capable and resourceful person."

" is excellent at what he does. He is very thorough at explaining all the details needed. Great business skills, upfront, honest individual that will stop at nothing to make sure every detail was just perfect. There was even a packet of warranty info, organized colors, billing, and photos of shots before, during, and after the project. Outstanding quality and customer service."

"In the basement: installed 6 new basement windows quickly and very reasonably.
In the master bathroom: let us do our own demolition to save some money, he then came in and hung new cement board walls, changed the plumbing so we had only 1 control for hot/cold instead of 2, installed new fixtures, and did a beautiful job of putting in ceramic tile in the entire bathtub/shower area. He did all this quickly, well within his original estimate in a bathroom with a sloping roof-line that made it more difficult to work in.
is a skilled craftsman and has a good eye for design and is extremely easy and enjoyable to work with."

" 's work was flawless and professional. We were totally blown away by his work. and his crew are highly skilled, detail-oriented, efficient -- but still meticulous -- and considerate of their customers. He worked closely with our contractor; they had an excellent working relationship with one another. There was very little downtime once the work began; disruption to our household was minimal. I was able to work in my home office throughout the renovation.
Early in the process, gave us large (1'x1'x1") wood blocks textured and painted with the colors we'd chosen. This enabled us to compare room decor elements with the wall colors and know that they would compliment one another. and his crew picked up and vacuumed the work areas at the end of each day. Also, had the work area cleaned professionally at the end of the job. Finally, he came back to do touch-ups several days after our furniture was returned and took care of the nicks and glitches caused by furniture bumping up against the newly painted walls.
provided creative solutions to several areas of the project. He noticed that the ceiling beams in our living room had sagged somewhat. (Our house is 80+ years old) and helped us solve this problem by installing an RC-1 furring channel. The best time to address this problem was during renovation, and so we were happy that he brought it to our attention and offered an economical solution. Also, when we decided that we wanted to expose the bricks of the chimney that stands in the corner of our dining room, sprayed the brick with a fixative that will allow us to clean the bricks without producing masonry dust. The result is distinctive and beautiful.
Some minor damage was caused by tape on the kitchen ceiling when the vented microwave was installed. The kitchen ceiling was not part of the initial job's scope, but generously repainted the ceiling at no cost.
is our painter and wall guy from now on.

"We decided to go with a 1/2 inch of drywall on our dining room walls to make it real easy instead of tearing all of that out. It was four walls, two doors and three windows. He did a good and acceptable job. We have an archway going from the living room into the dining room and I wasn't quite sure how he was going to solve that. I'm not very pleased with the line that he made; it is quite wiggly. We are going to sell this house pretty soon so it's going to stay that way and it will be all right. The rest of it is a job pretty well done. If I used him again, I would make sure that I had a written quote and things were not left to question. I ?t think that drywall is his specialty. I think he does more masonry and interior restorations."

"We had sought bids from at least four contractors prior to this; some broke appointments and others bid double the insurance estimate. Associated also bid somewhat more, but they were willing to work with the insurance company. They were always on time and worked straight though until it was finished. I also asked them to do some painting in addition to what the insurance covered. It was necessary to "supervise" the painting so that they paid attention to details, but then too they fixed quite a few defects on the walls so in the end I thought I got my money's worth. I'm also glad they didn't mind contacting me at work to let me know how things were going because I couldn't take off to be there."

" is very friendly and helpful, and does very good work. He was very helpful in discussing options for this repair, and gave me some additional information related to other work I was considering for the house. He did the work in less time than expected, and it was very well done. The final bill was slightly higher than the estimate, but not unreasonably so (3 percent). The only reason for not giving him all A's was that I had to check back once about getting the estimate, but I don't see this as a major problem. I will definitely look to for further work in the future."

"Well I was general pleased with them for the estimation process. Very good for keeping us informed of when they would be there and when they would not. It happened over about 6 working days. The only compliant I have is when they sprayed the office ceiling they forgot to cover up my wifes desk which got some overspray on my wifes computer. The work itself was just fine looks real good."

"Guy and came over and did and estimate. They were right on time and very friendly. Guy took the time to answer all my questions - but I only had a few - because he was very thorough in explaining the job from start to finish. After he gave me the price, he asked if I wanted to help do any of the work and save some money. I was surprised because I heard most general contractor people don't like to work with homeowners. But, he said they enjoyed it. I ended up doing some painting and saving a few hundred dollars! After we signed the agreement, Guy gave me an estimated time table of work and asked if there were any conflicts with my schedule, or times we wanted them to not be at our house (very thoughtful). Guy and tore out all the old basement stuff in two days, and hauled it out to the dumpster they provided. They put blankets and tarps down to protect our floors. They were very careful to not let out our cat and dog. They finished right on time!"
