Louisville Real Estate Reviews

"The two young men did a fine job of moving my cabinets and they took care in the move. My biggest complaint is with the franchise office. They sent two movers out without any tools. When they discovered they needed a screwdriver, a hammer and a drill, they asked me and the homeowner if we had any tools. Luckily, I had a tool bag in my car and they used my tools. At no time did they offer to call the office and ask for someone to deliver tools. When I asked why they didn't have tools, they said they forgot to put them on the truck.
Afterwards, I complained to the office and I didn't think I should have to pay all of the $100.00 "service fee" that I was charged. I thought $50.00 was reasonable because I had provided the tools. They made excuses for not having the tools and said they would have brought them out; however, the two gentlemen never offered that option. They offered me $25.00 and I said I would take my complaint to company headquarters. I made a complaint to the head office and in one month, no one ever got back to me. I called the home office on

. 21st and was told my complaint was sent back to the local office--they didn't even have the initiative to intervene on my behalf or to contact me about their feeble attempt to mediate the situation. The excuse was that the State of Kentucky requires them to charge the "service fee"--while that may be true, that has nothing to do with compensating a dissatisfied customer.
A moving company who contracts a job without the necessary equipment and does nothing to retain a disappointed customer has no interest in repeat business or building their business by word of mouth.
I have no complaints about the two gentlemen who performed the services, with the exception that they never offered to call the office to get the tools. It is the responsibility of the company to see that their workers report to a job fully prepared; and it is the job of the franchise to maintain high standards of customer service. Here is a company that let a $25.00 difference result in the loss of a loyal customer.
I would not use them again for these reasons.

".I liked the fact that
Louisville Real Estate Provider Name Locked
uses only their own employees and doesn't hire casual labor to either load or unload. The 3 man crew was friendly, efficient and professional. I would say they exceeded our expectations. It only took them 3 hours to pack and load the items in Louisville. Nothing was damaged...they were obviously very experienced and well trained. The delivery also went very smoothly. I was pleased with the cost since they had to drive out of state to Louisville. The size of the truck was perfect for the furniture. It was a 26 ft truck and not a long semi trailer truck. They didn't have to schedule any other loads at the same time so only my parents load was on the truck. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for a mover. I would be comfortable using them based on both price and quality of the service

"It was a great experience all the way . They did it on our time schedule with a dedicated truck . Moved us out of Kentucky and into our new home in Maryland in 3 days. Everyone was prompt, courteous , and respectful. This move included a piano and some antique furniture as well. They all arrived perfectly. I can definitely recommend this company .

"The
Louisville Real Estate Provider Name Locked
Representative that I talked to via phone was very nice and their moving service was able to move the furniture on the day/date I needed it moved and within a price I could afford. After giving the company rep. the location from which the furniture was to be moved and the address to where it needed to be delivered and set up, and after giving him the number of furniture pieces to be moved, he calculated the price I would have to pay while I was on the phone with him. I had contacted a couple of other moving companies before seeing the

The

movers stayed in touch with me the day of the move, and they did a great job moving a very large (about 81 inches tall) china cabinet that had removable glass selves, along with 6 Dining

. chairs and a Dining Table with 2 Large Leaves/Extensions, etc. They wrapped the glass shelves up to keep them secure in the moving truck during the move. The men did a quick job preparing the furniture for the move and transporting it to my house. These men did a really nice professional job moving the furniture and then setting it up in my home, and the price was so reasonable!! I will definitely use this moving service again. Thanks to

and their moving staff for an excellent furniture move experience.

"The team arrived on time. They introduced themselves and immediately got to work. They took all our furniture and boxes, including electronics and other fragile items. They then stopped at a storage facility to get the rest of our belongings and transported to our new home. They team unloaded the items and placed them in the new house. The entire process was smooth and efficient. I'd happily use them again.

"Two movers arrived with a truck on time (8:30a.m.) and were incredibly professional and helpful. They walked through the house with us to determine what contents were ready to be loaded and got right to work. We were still packing some items and they worked around us easily. They offered advice when dealing with several difficult pieces of furniture. Once the truck was loaded and arrived at the new home they immediately began working to unload. They followed all the delivery instructions that were labeled on the boxes and checked with us when it was unclear. They managed to maneuver several challenging pieces of furniture where we wanted them without any damage whatsoever. The entire job took around 6 hours.

"In brief, if you want a high quality move, but don't care how long it takes or how much it costs, these are your quys. If you want efficiency or billing accuracy - fuggetaboutit.
The first person I talked to to set up the move gave me an estimate of $600 to $1000. I made it clear that there were a LOT of boxes, little furniture and a piano. I got a call back a couple of days later with a second person telling me the estimate was off, and I should expect to pay $1000 to $1200. They were about 2 hours late arriving at the Indiana location, having gotten lost. The loading took twice as long as I expected it to (four hours, for mostly already packed boxes). At that point I was still willing to be forgiving. I gave them a lot of credit for how carefully they wrapped my piano and dining room suite (with two glass front cabinets) in pads and plastic. A previous moving company had put a huge gouge in one of my other tables, so I appreciated the care. Because of the late arrival and long time loading we were going to arrive in my new neighborhood at a time when there would be NO place for the truck to park. So they agreed to lock it up and come in the next morning. I sat in my car from 7:30 - 10 am guarding a stretch of parking places filled with boxes and please don't park here signs. They didn't get lost, they just arrived an hour later than they said they would, with no apology or excuse. The guys took a look at the steps leading into the house and decided that they couldn't use the dollies, they would have to carry the boxes in two at a time. I could tell this was going to take forever. About an hour into this process disaster struck. One of the workers had a death in his family. I encouraged him to get someone from the company to take his place so he could go be with his family. It took him another 45 minutes on the phone to decide to join his family. In the meantime his partner had continued to carry boxes, one or two at a time, from the truck into the house. The company had a replacement mover for him pretty quickly. This guy used the dolly, and got 4 boxes at a time into the house. I give him credit for speeding things up considerably. Normally unloading takes about half the time that loading does. In this cause it took almost as long. When they tallied up the final bill, I was charged fully for the time that only one mover was working. At that point I started yelling. They agreed to knock off $80 for the inefficiency. Then when I got the final bill, the numbers just didn't add up. I've asked for an itemized accounting - I haven't gotten it. For a final indignity, they double billed my debit card. They claim they are working hard to correct it. I want to know why 3 days later they haven't just refunded my checking account for the duplicate billing.

"The manager came out promptly to give me an estimate and then we set up a half-day for packing and half-day for moving. Three guys and a supervisor came, which was perfect. Everything went smoothly and there was no damage. They set up things like furniture in the right place as much as possible and took things such as bookcases and boxes of books to the storage area in the garage/basement. The movers were professional and seemed to care about doing a very good job. The only complaint I had was not putting plastic on the bottom of the elevator so ends of the sofa and other things would not get dirty. I guess it was okay, because there was no dirt! I have worked with movers for over thirty years, including having everything packed up and then moved hundreds of miles across the country, and I must say they are a few of the best. This was a very difficult move for me as I had to drastically downsize. Their friendly, easy-going manner made everything less stressful. Thanks!

"I called and spoke with
Louisville Real Estate Provider Name Locked
, told him exactly what I had that needed to be taken to a furniture consignment store. I told him where the items were located, and the size and weight of each item. We agreed on a PRICE! After he had the items on his truck then he upped the price by 20.00. I explained what we agreed on, but he said that was the price. Like it or Not. Would not recommend him to anyone.
