, was professional and did not rush the job. The power washing turned out great. My deck was very dirty since I have large dogs. The staing/sealing looks outstanding. He took his time and covered all my windows and doors and even air conditioning unit to prevent splashing. The deck was very gray and ugly and is now a lovely redwood color. I have recommended this company to several friends and family members. I hope to use them again. "

"We hired to clean and seal our 2600 sq. ft aggregate driveway, deck, and playground. We selected him due to ratings on Angie's list and another service. The price was reasonable and in line with other estimates. $1300 for the driveway, $500 to strip off old color and reseal the deck, $200 for the playground. Work was scheduled for 3-weeks later.
Aggregate driveway was cleaned using a scrub brush machine. I had to call him to come out and reclean several areas that were still dirty, or omitted. For example, my rolling garden hose box was not moved. In addition, I had to ask him to treat oil & rust stains with a detergent or muriatic acid. He was very accomodating and came out the next day to reclean and touch up dirty areas.
The deck was cleaned only with water. Water spots were left on the wood and were clearly visible after the stain seal was applied. In addition, there was a large splotch of stain on my kitchen window casing, the exterior brick, and the glass. He came out and cleaned it up. Upon first application of the deck stain, none of the spindles and exterior facing facia boards had been sealed.
He was very accomodating and sanded some of the seat back boards from the built-in deck benches to remove the water spot stains and resealed them. In addition, he stated that he needed to put more color into the new stain because some of the boards still had the "old" cedar coloring. In addition, he had to replace some old faulty nozzles on his equipment "after" he had to redo the work.
While Mr. was very responsive and good with follow-up, I felt like the quality was lacking in the job the first time and that I had to provide more supervision and inspection than I should have needed to. For a $2,000 job, he should have had his equipment prepped and ready to go "before" he started the job.
A basic walk-through following the initial cleaning would have revealed the stain splotches, omitted areas, etc.
is primarily a pressure washing outfit that also provides deck sealing services. Deck sealing is not one their strengths and while it looks better than it did before, my wife and I feel as if Mr. should have not stated in his quote that he would strip and reseal the deck if they were only going to use water. The purpose of outsourcing the work was to allow me to spend more time with my family since I travel a lot for work.
I appreciate Mr. 's responsiveness but feel like I spent more time "managing the project" than I should have."

"4/2/07 the company washed 2 decks (they cleaned both decks). On April 4th and 5th they stained in very high winds, leaving plants, objects, siding, bricks, central air conditioner and windows covered with orange oil-based stains. They were on the job at 7:00 pm in evening winds. They attempted to get paid without cleaning up the mess. 4/9/07 on Place, they cleaned up (the second time" about 7 pm. claimed to have finished the windows on Park Way. The company failed to return calls and the stains are still on the windows in both places. The transaction was unsatisfactory, below any industry standard and unprofessional."
