"I have been taking my son here for about 15 months. He has a very good bedside manner and is knowledgeable. He sees a wide range of conditions. He talks to my 10" year old like they are a person. He is a very good doctor. The office staff is very nice and helpful with scheduling tests we needed. I had no problem with scheduling and only had to wait about 3-4 weeks to get in.

-Renato M.

"I have been seeing the doctor for over 10 years. He takes his time with his patients. He is very nice and knowledgeable. He is proactive and accommodating. The" nurse has a lot of energy and is up beat. I have really enjoyed interacting with her. I have had no problem being seen when I need to.

The benefit is not in "choosing" a provider that is listed on AL - it is in using AL to screen potential providers before choosing one by looking at their ratings and reading the reviews prior customers havae posted, so you get a preview up-front of what people like or dislike about them. You can also google the doctors names combined with the word - complaints - to see other blogs and comments about specific doctors - there are also a few medical-specific review sites out there. In dealing with a specialist like a neurologist, your regular general medical provider can also provide recommendations. And be sure if your insurance company requires it (almost a certainty) that you have a referral from your general doctor AND insurance company pre-approval IN ADVANCE of the first visit if you want his/her services to be covered by your insurance.

Pediatric Neurology reviews in Louisville

She has a good personality and very thorough. She listens and doesn’t leave anything to be questioned or unturned, and she makes sure she hits everything to see what the problem is. She is great and engaging with the kids. Our first appointment took about five months to get in, but if it’s urgent I can get an appointment faster.

He just takes all the time he needs to with every single patient. He always makes sure that everything is done right. We will continue to use him. He is the best and it is really tough to get into. We have been seeing him for years and years so we just see him every six months. It can be really hard to get an appointment with. He is very popular. He ...More may not be punctual but when you are in there he is yours.
- Gerard S.

Dr. was a Godsend to us! My daughter is a brain tumor survivor who suffers both migraines and seizures, as well as minor cognitive issues resulting from her tumor.
Dr. was the fifth neurologist we had seen in seven years. As a teenager my daughter was very frustrated that her neurologists didn't ...More speak to her directly and would dismiss her symptoms or side-effects. Dr. has listened patiently to my daughter, has not pushed new medications on her, has advocated for her with both the epilepsy and neuro-oncology folks at Children's, and has worked with my daughter on alternative ways to manage her symptoms. She has taken time to explain scans and tests to my daughter and myself that other doctors skimmed over or didn't address fully. She has written letters for us for us to schools and has made coordinating care for my daughter so much nicer.
Her bedside manor is wonderful (a very hard quality to find in a neurologist)! I will be very sad when my daughter ages out of the children's system and we have to find an adult neurologist- Dr. will be a hard act to follow.
- Jeanne-Marie M.

Our appointments with Dr. Djukic have gone well. We will continue to bring our child to see her and her team. We fly to see her and it is worth the time and money. We would highly recommend her without reservation.
- Jennifer A.

Dr. is very good with my son. She is able to speak to him in language that he will be able to understand. She is very funny and patient. He sees her ongoing, so he will continue to use her in the future.
- Lisa H.

After 5 calls this week, I still don't have the script my child needs and we are almost out of medicine. I will now have to pay a premium to get a short term supply before the mail order is called in.
- Rita F.

We saw her within the last month. My child has been seeing her for 2 or 3 years. She has a good bedside manner. The office returns my calls in a timely manner. They are reasonably easy to get a hold of, and are sensitive to my concerns. We will continue to use her in the future.
- ann N.

Our son usually takes him but we pay the bills so we feel qualified to talk about him. He is extremely skilled at what he does and he works wonderfully with the children. He works with the whole family. He is just phenomenal. We will absolutely continue to see him.
- Alexandra H.
