"The young man who did the work was professional and kind. He sympathized with the loss of my lawnmower and tools and worked hard to reassure me that the hasp and lock he replaced would keep my belongings secure. He offered a number of options for me and helped me choose one that I could afford and that would be safe. I was impressed that he was critcal of his work and returned with a better fitting hasp for the door. He made me feel that he was really interested in making sure my garage would be secure. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and its professional employees."

"It went well for the most part. The service man was very friendly and professional. He showed up on time and completed the job in about an hour. I'm concerned about the lock that was done on the rear of the house though. I tried to catch him before he left but he was already gone. I tried to lock the door with the new key and for some reason the key will not release in the fully locked position. I have to spin the key back around to get it to release which still locks the door but doesn't feel like it is fully engaged. It could be me but it feels a bit strange. I may have them come out a 2nd time to double check it or just replace the lock completely myself. The lock on the front of the house works great! "

employee showed up at the scheduled time and walked through the house with me to inspect the work. He told me the drawbacks and benefits of each choice, but said he would do whatever I wanted. I had changed my mind about some of the work I had requested when I called for the estimate, so the employee discussed the additional costs prior to starting the work. Overall, it was a great experience and I will use

"The Ford Focus seems to have a bit of a problem with their ignition lock (ie. the part you put your key in when you go to start the car) and the company has yet to issue a recall on the problem. I found out about this problem shortly after my key stopped working in my ignition. I called a local dealership and they knew the exact problem and happily said that it would run about $600 to fix it. I called Cooks and they said they could do it for under $100. The guy at Cooks just took out the old ignition and keyed a new ignition to my existing key, installed it and I was off in about 30-45 min."
