Louisville HVAC Contractors Reviews

"Almost instant service - technician was here within 15 minutes if my call. Very diplomatic technician who did not make a big deal about my error in installing batteries. Very pleasant experience
"They were great. They called ahead to let me know they were on their way. The technician was very polite. I appreciated that they wore shoe covers to protect my floors. The humidifier is working well, and I am very happy with them. I paid $391 for a "big deal" to get the humidifier. I later paid $500 (home insurance deductible) for the furnace motor to be replaced. Again, they were prompt, courteous, and professional. They helped me with my claim with the home insurance company so that it wasn't any problem at all. I will definitely use them in the future.
"The provider was professional and called before arriving, but the serviceman had no idea what the Angie's List deal was supposed to provide. I was promised a return visit to complete the job with a new filter and free carbon monoxide detector, but they never came back. I even received a call from the owner on their promise to return. I had used this service before and was completely satisfied, but when I called again after a pipe issue (not through ANGIE'S List), I was told from the receiver of the call, that the business has been sold. In other words, I am not sure the viability of this company. I will not call again."
"We had JUST moved into our "new" (old) house, when we had a MISERABLE cold snap/ice storm. Branch fell on wire, cutting off service. LG&E came out the second day and said they could do nothing until the meter was fixed, as the service was knocked out on "our" side. Called

and they came out that day. Unfortunately, the house was not wired up to code (or our needs), so the guys worked 2 days in the freezing cold in our crawl space. They did a beautiful job, were very professional, neat....we knew the work needed to be done eventually....we just hadn't expected it to happen the first week we were in the house!! I felt very good about their service AND their price...even though the job got more complicated (they ended up having to drill through concrete, as the feeder hole wasn't large enough for the new service, among other things) the price did not change. They even hooked up what they could the first night so we could have heat, then didn't disconnect it to finish wiring the next day until the last possible minute. I would have them back in a heartbeat!!!"
"Annual fall service checkup for a recently installed residential heat pump and furnace. After replacing a twenty year old system the decision was made to maximize and maintain the new system. This may be questionable since the system is new but,for piece of mind I will have spring and fall checkups. Probably not a bad idea for us seniors or anyone else for that matter even if you do your own. Saving a few dollars throughout the year allows me to purchase the service ahead of time saving a couple more dollars. don't FORGET YOUR COUPONS!
The office will work to accommodate scheduling that fits your needs. The shop notified me that the service tech was on his way and he arrived not long afterwards. He performed the checkup on both the inside and outside units and the system checked out OK as expected because of it's age .... but you never can tell. Technician was courteous and helpful in answering a few of my questions. At the present time I plan on using

for my HVAC problems and would recommend them to others.
"We lost heat during the latest cold snap when our boiler system broke down. When we realized it would cost a significant amount to replace an antiquated system, we thought it wisest to switch to forced air. We had six different estimates to install such a system and everyone but forced air tried to sell us a product we didn't want, or they overcharged us (twice the price that Prudential quoted), or were completely unprofessional (Aire Serv). There were some companies that had me explaining to the estimators how to run the duct work - and I know nothing about HVAC systems. Anyway, a representative came out and sent us an estimate the same day of his visit - which is more than I can say for any other company. Furthermore, the crew installing the system was punctual and clean. The cost was reasonable and every person that I've come into contact with that was associated with the company (and there were no subcontractors!) was professional and competent. I didn't think it would be so hard to find a solid company, but I was wrong. Prudential was the best company that we encountered, hands down.
"They arrived on time and did a good job. I think the price was fair. When I scheduling the service, they tried to say an Angie's list coupon I had was expired when there was no expiration date on it. After I pushed back they allowed me to use it, but would not do the service on a weekend because of the coupon. This is my only complaint.
"The whole experience was great. The installer was very professional and personable. He explained in detail how the humidifier works and what to expect. He also explained the necessary maintenance. This was an Angie's Big Deal and just like all my other Big Deals I have purchased, I was very impressed with the provider.
"I discovered that my furnace was not coming on. This was after the end of the workday on a Friday. I called and the employee on call had just pulled into his driveway in Indiana. He turned around and came back to my house in eastern Louisville. He quickly discovered that the igniter was broken and replaced it almost as quickly. I was totally satisfied with the work and especially glad that I have Project's year-round heating and cooling maintenance plan.
"My husband was installing a dryer and none of the outlets in the laundry room were working. This was in the evening and the electrician was on another job, but came out even though it was late. My husband had checked the breaker box and all the switches seemed to be on. The electrician said it was a loose switch and tightened it and all the outlets were operational. We paid more because It was late in the evening and I needed my dryer. I think he said normally a service call was eighty something.
