did a total remodel of my bathroom. He provided excellent service by himself and also by competent sub-contractors for the tile work, electrical work, and counter tops and cabinets. I was totally satisfied with his work. There was one callback for a split piece of trim. He promptly ordered another piece and replaced the split trim. I plan to use him again for a total kitchen remodel. He is extremely competent, punctual, and trustworthy. He did a wonderful job on my bathroom! I highly recommend his remodeling services!

Upon initially contacting Mr.
, I was pleased that he was able to meet me that afternoon for an initial meeting. I explained the many projects I wanted done, putting emphasis on my basement. It was
15 and I needed it done by Feb 6 for my annual superbowl party. He tossed around some ideas and then offered to take me to two homes he'd done the bar for. My wife and I went along and saw two beautiful bars--one was a home he'd built and the other was his home (he built it as well). We took ideas from each and started a plan. In two days, he had a quote and more ideas. We scratched off a couple of his ideas but kept many more. I'm very glad he didn't just listen to what I wanted--instead he had input, really good input. Sometimes I'd tell him "no I definitely want it this way" and he'd be fine with that. Other times I asked "what do you think" and usually I was very impressed with his ideas and we went with them. His estimate was higher than I expected but not ridiculous. After seeing the work he could do, I was happy to pay a premium for the better quality. I stressed the Feb 5th deadline (the party was the 6th) and he said he could do it, no problem. We were only 6 weeks away. I was concerned but he reassured me. Once I said GO, I was surprised how quickly he started working. The walls were ripped out the next day and we were planning each phase. He would call me daily with updates and ALWAYS (and I mean always) either answer my call or call me back within an hour. His responsiveness was amazing. We didn't live in the house at the time (planned on moving in just before the party) and every time we went over there we were surprised at the progress. Anytime I asked him about the plan, he had it to the T. "Drywall on Tues, Painters on Wed, Stone is coming next Monday, etc". And the plan was always stuck to. The workers he used were nice and professional. He asked us a few times to go somewhere to pick out a stone, or a paint color, or light fixtures, etc. Sometimes we'd tell him to pick it, sometimes we'd pick it. When we picked it, obviously we liked it. When he picked it, it always worked well with our theme. Throughout the project, I was constantly throwing challenges at him. The biggest was the soda gun system. He had never installed one and neither had I. I had bought it off the internet. Well apparently they are WAY more complicated that you would think. Hook up the system to the water line, add some syrups and CO2 right? Wrong! It was so unbelievably complicated and yet he was at home researching it at night and working 12 hour days installing it. He knew how important the deadline was and I could tell there was NO way he would miss it. Not only was he ahead of schedule, but he even was able to handle all my challenges in time. My extra challenges should have added on time, but he just worked harder. When the party came, everyone was so impressed with my basement. I was so proud. About 1 hour into the party, the kegerator stopped working. I was in panic mode. I called him and asked him what to do. He was busy with his own life (it was sunday at 5pm) but he came right over and fixed it while the party was going. I mean--the guy is a champ. I can't say enough about him. The crowd cheered him as he left to return to his own superbowl party. Seriously, what kind of contractor would do that? Oh and on the final bill, there was no charge for that service call. He's not only a good contractor, he's a good guy. In addition to the amazing bar, which worked perfectly aside from the kegerator hiccup (not his fault), he also did the following odd jobs for me: Built a custom wood display area for my world war 2 antiques, built a custom stand and hookup (and installed) a slot machine I had purchased, worked closely with my home-automation installation team to make sure all the lighting was hooked up correctly, helped me on my shower redo--I had mistakenly let my friend 'contract' the work for it and he messed it up 5 different ways. Mr
fixed it every time. He also had my concrete floor stained, some carpet installed, two doors widened. I'm sure there were other things, but I can't remember them all. I just know that now I have a GREAT basement with an amazing bar and I couldn't be happier with Mr
. I actually had many projects in the house quoted by him and 2 other firms. He was either the lowest or middle on each. I feel like the basement was expensive, but after seeing those other quotes, maybe he isn't all that high. I know he is worth it though, and there's NO DOUBT I will be using him for every project in the future. I hate to sound like a sales pitch, but I really am just super impressed with this guy. If you want quality work, on schedule, on budget and a contractor that will give input, answer your calls and keep you updated, hire

was a great designer to work with. He was able to pick up on my vision and color scheme and helped me make some great choices to finish the look, all from the decorative tile I had already decided on. He worked to find just the right fixtures and materials to keep within my budget. Installation tool considerably longer than expected, due to unforeseen breakage (during shipment) of 6 x 6 ceramic tile and reorder spanning a holiday weekend. Another issue was the way the carpet from the hall and bedroom joined the new tile in the bathroom,

had a carpet company come out and correct this issue as soon as I let them know it was not acceptable. A month after completion I asked them to remove the clear caulking and replace it with white caulking in the corners of the shower area due to some unsightly cracking of grout visible underneath the clear caulking. There was no actual damage as the caulk covered the cracks, it was purely aesthetic. Additionally, I found out later that one of the contractors working on my project had not been with them very long, so he had some experience issues. Next time I will be more proactive in checking this out before the work starts.

They showed up pretty quickly when I called. Once I committed to the project, they were over here and turned it out pretty quickly. Then they came back to repair some of the things they missed and take care of leaks. They didn't disappear once they got the check.

They came out when they said. We had trouble with the handle which took several times for them to fix. I had to call them to find out what was going on, but they were always professional and courteous when they came out and seemed concerned with the job being done right.

I had to ding them because it took 2 calls to get a salesman to call me back. I called the office and explained what I wanted. I was told

(a salesman) would return my call. I did not hear back from him, so I called early the next week and they apologized and said

would call me. He did call promptly and explained the process. I told

I was replacing my vanity countertop with granite and it was still a couple weeks away. He assured me it was no problem, just call him a few days in advance, he would take out the old mirror and come back after the new countertop was installed and measure. I called a couple days in advance and he had his guys out just as promised to remove and haul away old mirror. The countertop was installed that afternoon and

came out while faucets were being reconnected. He measured pretty quickly, checked for level and squareness and advised mirrors would take about a week.
When the installers came out with the new mirrors, they fit great and looked great. Only problem was

didn't take good notes and had the holes drilled too close together. The installers worked with me and drilled holes for me in the backplate for the light fixture and we were in business. If not for the installers helping me improvise, I would have had to ding them another point for quality.
The cost was reasonable, promptness was excellent (after getting past the initial contact) and the mirrors look great.

arrived on time, completed job promptly, expertly and with minimal disruption to my household. I felt totally comfortable with this team inside my home: stellar manners, professionalism. Windows look great, was able to keep wood sash and therefore did not have to change color of house trim.

We called

to request an estimate. In a few days a man came out and examined the project.
He left an estimate which was almost three times higher than another highly-rated company on Angie's list. I told him that, he left, and that was the end of it. I don't know his name, but he was courteous.

Glass responded promptly to my call when a portion of the leaded/beveled glass in my front door was broken. He came to my house and advised against buying a whole new door. He replaced the broken glass. This is a true art. He was always on time, courteous and honest in his pricing. He save me quite a bit of money and I will recommend him to anyone with a similar need. I would definitely use this service again.

The technician came to my house and measured my five window panes. He went out to his truck to get a quote. Came back with a piece of paper which said $900 + $73 tax to replace 5 window panes. No measurements listed on the paper. He said his manager was willing to cut me a deal for $900 if I agreed to replace them today.
I was collecting estimates, so said "No thank you" and he left.
Realized later I had him quote the wrong windows. I also decided I didn't need one of the panes replaced. Called another company and they gave me a quote of $600 over the phone based upon my measurements.
Called Glass Doctors back to get a quote for the new windows. I assumed since I was changing the scope of work, they would want to quote a new price. I was told that the original quote was really $1,300, but that the manager had knocked it down to $900, and then knocked the tax off. The price would be the same for the four panes of glass as it was for the five panes.
I said, "No thank you" again and called the other company (Glass Specialists) and scheduled an appointment for them to come take final measurements and get the order started.
