"Our garage door opener quit working so I checked out a few places on Angie's list, and saw that had several good reviews. I called on Monday, and they sent somone out Tuesday morning. The service tech was friendly and professional, and had the job done in less than an hour. He tightened the springs, replaced a gear in the opener, and reprogrammed a remote. He made it look easy, and the price was fair."

"We called the company and described the problem (broken spring). We gave them the details about the size of the spring, etc. The estimate was $160-170 so we asked them to come out. When the repair man arrived, he recommended replacing both springs at $240. We concurred. It would have been nice for the dispatcher to have been more thorough and mention the higher price for replacing both."

"Great experience. Technician arrived promptly and got right to work. Replaced the 28 year old motor. Explained in detail how it worked, especially the "new" features (motion sensor at base of door) as well as others. Made sure the outdoor keypad matched our siding (details mean so much!). Cost was exactly what had been quoted. Very pleased!"

"The company was great! My door came apart and would not open. I called to order a new door and opener. A serviceman came out that same day and repaired my old door free of charge so it would work until my new door could be installed. Since the door was a special order I was told it would take about 2 weeks to get the door. Two weeks later my door was installed. The 2 repairmen were on time and did a great job. I was shown how to operate the door and how to change the codes. They even changed my burned out bulb in the over head ceiling fixture for me. They did such a great job that I am going to have them install a new front door and side lights."

"The spring broke the night before, leaving my car stuck inside the garage. I called several repair shops and left messages and was the only person to call me back. He and his assistant arrived 45 minutes after our phone conversation and had the spring replaced in about an hour. He showed me what had happened and how to do preventative maintenance so it wouldn't happen again."

"It went fine. They came at a convenient time for us (7:30 AM) and finished in about an hour. They quoted us $150-$160 over the phone and I asked her if that was the price no matter what and she said yes. When the repairman arrived he said it would be $190 because nobody uses the kind of springs we had anymore. That didn't make that much sense to me because he replaced our springs with the springs he had on his truck, that I assume everyone uses since he had them on his truck. Anyways he recommended we have both springs replaced, and said he'd do one for $190 or both for $225. We agreed to both and when he was done, he said he also replaced the rollers but wouldn't charge us since he quoted $225. I thought that was nice since he didn't mention replacing them before doing so. In the end we paid $225. It was fair enough for both springs, another company quoted us $375."
