After decision to go ahead, put down half down deposit. Two-man crew arrived punctually on the appointed day. Install lasted about 5-6 hours. Excellently done."

to get a quote on refinishing our 100-year old maple floors. He was professional, punctual and came highly recommended by family members who used their services twice in the past. We did not have services performed at the time, as we were up against a deadline to remodel for a refinance, but plan to have this done in the future. He scheduled the appointment for after work hours to accommodate our schedule, and arrived on time. He told us exactly what we could have done, and what he recommended. He then contacted us by phone a day later with a quote, which was very fair. We will post another review when we schedule and have the work completed."

"I interviewed 3 companies- Signature's pricing was in the middle but I chose them due to their long-term experience & due to the recommendation on Angie's List. I felt that their charges were very fair. The company moved all of the furniture that needed to be moved including a very heavy sleeper sofa and a piano. The workmen arrived on time and performed the work in a timely manner. They were very trustworthy- I had to move out d/t the extent of the work done since I could not access my bedroom or a bathroom at times due to the refinishing of my hallway floor & due to the fumes. I was not charged extra even though we decided together that it would be better to refinish the floors in 2 sections which would take longer but would save me the headache & expense of renting a POD. Nothing was damaged or scratched from moving the furniture. I strongly recommend this company. The employees and the owner were very attentive & the work was wonderful."

"We got the estimate and they said it would take 2 weeks to get us scheduled. We scheduled for 3 weeks and were told it would take "maybe" up to a whole day to install the new floor. They showed up 4 hours late the first day, started complaining immediately, this was a different group of people than the estimate people, about how long it was going to take to do. They tore up about 1/4 of the floor and left after 90 minutes. So day two, they show up 90 minutes late, tear up some more floor, two of the three leave to go elsewhere, they stay about 4 hours. Before they could leave, the leader takes me to the van to verify it's the floor I've picked out. While there I noticed he smelled of alcohol and I got very nervous. Day 3 they finally finish, but upon inspection I realize that they've damaged my hall floor (dropping wood on it), the wall in the hall, and that the floor isn't finished/completed correctly. I called the manager, who was not in. Finally the men leave, I called back and left a message for the manager saying I would not pay until the job was finished correctly and the damage repaired. 2 weeks later a crew comes out, the guy basically says, "don't you have white paint?" in regards to fixing the wall, they agree to fix the floor and finish the original installation. He says that the man I thought was intoxicated had been having trouble at home but wasn't drunk. (I'd previously been told they only hire

, therefore drinking wasn't possible...) They return a week later to fix the floor, part of the original kitchen floor was fixed, the damage was NOT repaired, they'd have to come back again (the 7th visit). They never came back, my calls to

were not returned. I have a 90% complete floor, damage to the hall and wall that were not repaired. They certainly know how to bill me, even though they can't figure out how to fix my floor."
