I think I already reviewed this company.

- defective workmanship/refused to return to make repairs after their first quality control walk thru. Left hood vent in my back yard after they made the space were is was smaller and just told me to get another one. Lied and said it didn't work which was untrue. Had to file with consumer affairs. Won and received partial refund.

came out a week ago to look at the problems we were having with the French type sliding screen doors at the back of our house. The 2 sliding screens meet in the center but were continually coming off track and at least two of the wheels were damaged and others improperly located. As well, the locking mechanism was installed upside down. The single sliding screen door of our small guest house in the back of our yard simply needed the screen replaced.

showed up for the evaluation appointment on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. There was no charge for that visit. Today he made the repairs, again arriving on time and quickly completed the jobs. We also asked him to look at another window that was missing a screen. Due to problems operating that window he recommend against bothering to have a screen made for it unless we felt it was absolutely necessary, which would require repairing the closing mechanism. I would strongly recommend

and Glass. Their repairman,

The two young men arrived early before 8:00am but wait in the truck until 9:00am. They were very polite, well manner. The first thing they did was to inspect the attic then put together a game plan. The entrance to the attic required a ladder and a plan to carry insulation materials. The two young men were very professional and organized in getting the job done in less than six hours. They laid down a plastic tarp to protect my floor. Afterward, they took a picture of the completed job. Yes, I would recommend to my friends and neighbors.

My experience with this company exceeded my expectations. I took the time to read all of the reviews before hiring them and any rating other than an "A" seems to be unrealistic desires from the homeowner. The bottom line is, one cannot get a 4000 sq ft home painted for $2500.00, period. My total cost, including the $2500 Angie's Deal, was $10,000 and my house now looks like a million bucks!
Yes, when
Los Angeles Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, came to my house he did try to up-sale. I cannot fault him for that, I do the same in my business, but it was not a hard, pushy sales tactic. I live in a nice neighborhood and he assumed I wanted the best.

was very personable and pleasant. He obviously takes pride in his company.
The workers were exceptionally clean, professional, and caring. They also took pride in their work and explained every step along the way. They were careful not to let my dog run off the property and interacted with my 7 year old child beautifully. They are very trustworthy and they were exceptionally grateful to any nicety I extended to them. The entire process was well organized. Everything was covered and sealed, including outdoor plants and bushes. There were no spills or spots left anywhere, and when they were finished the property was cleaner than when they started. I have a fairly large property and I chose two different colors for the house and trim, and a third color for driveway gate and side fences. The job turned out spectacular. I now have the best looking house on the block.
We did a walk around when they were finished and I found a few minor imperfections that they fixed with no attitude. being a perfectionist, the next day I found a few more items I wanted redone, and they came out promptly and fixed them. The third day I found a few more (Did I mention I am a perfectionist?) and they were fixed immediately.
I have several businesses and I am constantly having handymen, contractors, plumbers, and painters attending to our needs. I could only wish they would all be as professional and reliable as

When the crew arrived at house number 1, they set up so they could begin installation after the permit was approved. They were organized pleasant and friendly. .They worked steadily and took few breaks. Many of the windows for house 1 were not the correct style so they modified them and the look was ok. They finished on time and cleaned up the trash but did not re-hang the blinds or curtains.

the group leader encountered a couple of difficulties with the new slider and with a bathroom window, but he was able to adjust and make the installation work. I was very grateful for that. When the house was inspected, the window in the office/bedroom was too high, but the inspector let it go because the room was being used as an office although it legally qualified as a bedroom. The next week house number 2 was done, with the same crew. The windows in the front of the house fit very nicely but the back bedroom windows were all too narrow so there a larger gap between the sides and the frame of the window. The space had to be filled with foam insulation, but it looks ok. It just makes a slightly smaller glass area. When installing a door in the kitchen area,

again had to improvise because of the condition of the door frame. The installed door looks terrific. The crew was hard working and pleasant as before and the job was done on time( with the exception of the stucco which is done by a stucco specialist. )They did not re-hang my blinds.
Because these houses were 80 plus years old,
I had some concerns about the weights or ballast being left in the old wooden window side panels. Since they are metal, I was concerned that cold and heat would be transferred to the inside of the house. If I had thought of this in advance, I would have requested that they be removed and the gap filled with insulation.
This company did so much right and the installers were so nice, that I wanted to give them an "A", but there were a few mistakes as noted above.

This was a very disappointing experience. I am out $1,500 for the window deposit, and now I'm forced to go find another window company.
Do not make the same mistake I did!

The French window other people were afraid of touching, as they thought the whole
window would be negatively effected. They handled it without fear and
all is well.
Regarding the fireplace floor tiles, they brought the tiles, matched them and it all looks and
functions well.
He also came up with a creative idea for fixing the back screen door.

and Norm to Nick and his crew, I have been very impressed. They have a complete knowledge of our type of home which is 90 years old and the types of windows and hardware used in them. Although we have lived here 16 years, we never could afford to get the windows done as this was a big fixer upper and there was always something else that needed our money and attention.
I wanted to make sure we could keep the integrity of the house, which is why I stayed with wooden windows. .
All at WWR&R were more than willing to educate me and let me know what was going on each step of the way.
I actually paid a little more than the original quote as you can't really foresee what might be hiding in the walls, but I think it was more than worth it.
My boss recommended WWR&R over a year ago as they had done some work for her that she loved, so I looked on Angie's list and was pleased they were represented here.
I can't say enough about how good I think they are and their product and service and would not hesitate to recommend them as well.
Thanks guys!

Contacted Blayne and he got back to me very quickly. Sent photos of the work to be done and received a price quote. We set a time for him to do the job. When Blayne was gong to be a few minutes late, he called and let me know his new ETA.
The work was done professionally. For a small job, he gave it proper attention and great work. Cleaned up all the glass and debris after he finished replacing the panes.
Will call Blayne again in the future for any glass or screen needs.
