"My dogs have been patients of Dr
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for the past 10 years.  Divot has always been difficult and had to be muzzled during office visits.  Dr
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was always very kind and patient with him and tried to make his visits and treatments as quick and easy as possible.   He came down with a high fever about two years ago, and Dr
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
managed to pull him through so he could have a couple of additional years of quality life.  When the end came, she and April were very compassionate and made a difficult experience as comforting as possible.  I would highly recommend her services.

"As a sudden, non emergency drop in I understandably had to wait about 20 min. The staff was friendly, the facility was very clean and modern. Once in the exam room the vet was very nice. She examined my dogs obvious condition for about 30 seconds and reassured me that the condition was completely benign: 50$ please. She also recommended a 1500$ surgery for her (the dog's) eye, and continually urged me to get her spayed asap, even after I explained why I was waiting. I feel I mostly have myself to blame for the negative aspects of my visit by rushing into a 24h vet with a completely non-emergency condition. This vet is very expensive, but they are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, which is really nice considering that it is sometimes difficult to get in to see my regular vet. Note: Above I answered the "Would you use this company/individual again in the future?" affirmatively. I will not go back here for any type of regular service, but would for an emergency."

"Excellent care. All of the vets are superb, especially in handling pet emergencies. When we had to put our cat down, they handled the entire thing very professionally and compassionately, and even followed up a week or so later to check on us. We were so pleased after that experience, that we even took our cats there for routine shots and visits. We never had to wait long to be seen, but I understand that can vary with an emergency hospital. The only down side is the cost. For basic and routine services, they are a bit more than my previous

. However, I was willing to pay it because of the great care, accessibility of the office staff, and the flexible hours. Plus, my cat never seemed to get as stressed at this
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
because the office is so clean and quiet (no other animals smells or boarded dogs barking all the time). For emergency services, the cost really varies depending on the treatment options you choose. But the vets are pretty good at working up different treatment plans (depending on how much you can spend) and giving you estimates for each. They take Care Credit also, which is always nice for big, unanticipated pet emergencies.

"I like a couple of the doctors in particular there. It depends a little bit on who you get and what doctor you use. I use Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and she is just extraordinary. She is calm and friendly and really good with the animals. She keeps up to date on her knowledge. I find her overly aggressive in running tests. I like the front office staff as well. I don't have a good point of comparison, but I do think they are a little bit more expensive than some veterinarians. I have been going to them for 20 years."

"Though we have only been to this veterinarian for routine check-ups, I would feel confidant in their capabilities to offer more complex or emergency services. Upon arrival, we (my dog and I) are always greeted promptly, and I have never had to wait more than about 15 minutes. The assistants begin by asking several questions to determine the reason for the visit. These are asked calmly and thoroughly. Then, if there simply for a vaccination, the veterinary assistants will take your pet to an examining room and administer the shot. They also offer titering, a means by which your dog's blood is tested for the antibodies the vaccine is supposed to produce in the dog's immune system. If the antibodies are still present, you don't have to revaccinate your pet. If you are there for a check-up or any other reason, you will meet with the veterinarian. She is thorough, and she does a very good job of explaining why she is doing certain things as well as your options in caring for your pet. She is gentle with your pet, and does her best to explain what she is doing, why, and what your options are in caring for your pet. Overall, I would recommend this veterinarian."

"This is a great no nonsense
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. I already knew my dog had some sort of eye infection thanks to Google and common sense. I made an appointment and showed up on time. They immediately had a
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
come and see him and diagnose the problem. I also realized that he was overdue for his vaccination. They gave me the medication for his eye and his vaccinations in less than 15 minutes. The other vets I've been to make you wait and it costs more just to see the
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
than it did for everything here. Great experience.

"I really believe this is a great office in that they are very professional and seem to be very knowlegeable. Unfortunately, they are also more expensive than other vets. It may be an instance of 'you get what you pay for' but the problem is that any time I bring my cat in, I end up spending a significant amount of money (anywhere from 100 to 600 dollars, depending on tests and medicines.) It's gotten to the point where I don't take my cat in for routine check-ups because I know they'll find something that's wrong and it will cost me a pile of money. Again, I don't think they're doing anything fraudulent, but it feels like the kind of place where they (understandably) want the best for your pet, regardless of the cost to you. So, yes, his coat could be shinier if I bought the vitamin supplements, and maybe it is better for his stomach to buy perscription cat food, and yes, those shots would be good to have if he ever gets out of the house by accident, etc. HOWEVER, he will mostly likely be absolutely fine without those things, so if you're barely scraping by (like me) it's not worth it to spend the extra 300 dollars. Sort of feels like - if we all brushed our teeth after each meal, we would be better off, but if we don't, it's unlikely to lead to a decreased quality of life. In short, I think this is a fabulous vet if money isn't an issue, but if it is, maybe shop around a bit and see if you can find someone you think is good without spending quite so much."

"They've done really wonderful work, and they're great. They're very caring and very kind. They're able to handle the dogs very well. They checked for a urinary tract infection. The doctor is caring and concerned, and Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, who is the main doctor, is really wonderful. I've gone there before. Also his staff and all of the other doctors I've used there in the past have all been very good and very caring. The checkup today was $61--I think that's pretty common--and then there was a urine test, they took the urine, and then also they checked the ears and gave me some medication. The price for his checkups seems to be the going rate, and I think that's pretty average. For the other things, it's really hard to say. I know I've spent around this amount before, so I'd say it was average. It's not outlandish, and it's very clean, very centrally located for me, and easy to get to. I'm very pleased with their service. They were very short staffed today. I had a 4:30 appointment and he was with another patient until to till 5. In the past I would say they've been fine. I haven't really had a problem with their punctuality. I will continue to use them. "

"I have been going to
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for years. The on-call doctor correctly diagnosed my cat in one emergency visit, after Westside Cat Hospital had misdiagnosed her for a couple of years. The vets are great and very responsive, although my favorite is Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
Baker. He's very smart & spends lots of time with the animals, while also attending to the needs of the animals' owner. The staff is great as well. When my cat was in the hospital as a patient of the adjoining internal medicine clinic, the vet techs visited her after their regular hours. Both the doctors and the staff obviously love animals, and it's reflected in how they treat their patients and their clients. I also love the fact that they offer anesthesia-free dental cleanings in their offices. The only negatives for me are the parking, which is inadequate for how busy they are, and the wait times, which are pretty much average, but may be too long for a nervous pet. I know some people think
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is too expensive, but getting proper care saves on vet bills in the long run, and this is one place in my life in which I don't want to cut corners.

"I brought my nine-year old cat to Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for an annual exam and shots about four weeks ago. At the exam we noticed that he had bleeding from his
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and a heart murmur. On closer examination, the gum disease was pretty serious. After doing complete blood work (which was normal) he was scheduled for oral surgery to have at least one tooth pulled. Immediately prior to the surgery, Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
also did a chest x-
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
to see if his heart was enlarged, but his blood pressure was a bit high. She explained that the blood pressure would not be a problem for surgery and why. With the okay, surgery progressed. Dr.
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
called several times that day to provide updates: first with the results of the x-
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and to let me know that it looked like he would need a few other teeth pulled as a result of the extensive disease. She called again to let me know that she did not hear the heart murmur in surgery, and twice more to let me know how he was doing and that his blood pressure was normal. She sent me home with pain medication and antibiotics...and called again to make sure he was feeling all right. He recovered very well from the surgery. At his post-op appointment I asked her more about what would cause this oral health problem, and she carefully explained what is known or believed in the veterinary field and what to expect in the future. Dr
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is my veterinarian at
Los Angeles Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, and we've been going to her for nearly 20 years--four cats over that period of time. She is extremely compassionate and careful. She has an excellent rapport with both the animals and their people. When I had to put a cat to sleep a couple of months ago (after five different cancers), she sat with us and chatted for quite a while after the procedure and was incredibly loving with my cat and me. She's the BEST!
