Back in January of 2013, I had a flood in my home caused by a faulty water filtration system. I was referred to
by my sister, who's used them and absolutely LOVES them. They showed up in short notice and immediately started to seal off the area and stopped the water that was gushing out of my walls. I LOVED how they worked closely with my insurance adjuster to restore my home. They did such a great job, you can't even tell that anything ever happened... A couple months later, I hired
again to remodel my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They installed new floors, vanities, tiled the shower, and around the tub. They also installed new fixtures, custom cabinets, countertops, an apron sink, and some recessed lights in the kitchen. The workmanship is amazing, they are just full of good ideas, and a pleasure to work with... I am currently working with them again to enclose my patio and do some siding and stucco work... THANK YOU
, keep up the great work.

I've used
in the past for smaller projects, and decided to go with them for a larger garage repair from earthquake damage. Their prices are very fair and the work is usually of good quality.
The problems I had with them was communication and professionalism. The length of the project was supposed to be 30-45 days. Although there were some additions to the overall project, the time reflected did not meet the scope of the additional works. The project was 2 weeks overdue and that delay was not necessary. There were spans of 3, and 4 days where no workers would show up when they were supposed to. Understandably, these are subcontractors with their own schedules, but the inability to get these guys to show up at a specified time was problematic to say the least. My job requires me to be gone from home for up to 5 days at a time, and although
was willing to work around my schedule very well, they failed to keep me updated regarding the progress of important stages of the project when I was gone (which was one of the only stipulations I had of the company admin department). So I would come back home and see that no work had been done and have to call or ask via email why the work wasn't complete. Very frustrating. I do give them kudos for working on weekends and after hours to complete phases of the project.
Also, the bookkeeping was a mess. The original estimate included a number that seemed to be pulled out of thin air. I asked for a more detailed estimate to include materials, hourly pay, etc, and barely received something that was useable. Numerous times they tried to charge me the incorrect amount for different stages of the project. It looked like they had a spreadsheet to keep track of expenses, but at times they couldn't even interpret their own numbers. Other times, they made mathematical errors and didn't even know it, or one person would tell me an amount was due and another person in the office would give me a different amount. Thankfully I kept track of my own expenses and corrected them when necessary.
For the most part, the quality of work done was great, such as framing, cement work, stucco finishing, and general construction. But there were some areas where I had to prompt them to finish, or correct work that they thought was complete that actually wasn't (i.e. door trim and baseboards). Small oversights in the electrical work
to a small electrocution on my part when flipping a switch. Had they talked to me about it beforehand, it might have been prevented. Also some of the estimates of electrical loads were incorrect, leading to misinformation down the road. For example, I was wondering how much electrical load the entire garage could take, and was told 20 amps, when in reality, it had a 30 amp breaker, which could have been communicated had they checked the breaker panel. This tells me that the information I was getting, was at best, a guess, and not knowledge based on professional opinion.
Overall, I think that
is great for smaller projects such as window replacements or ceiling repair, or maybe a bathroom remodel. However, the company barely has the resources or administrative expertise to handle larger projects. I know they hired a new administrative worker, so hopefully this might improve the quality of the experience in the future.

Overall we had a great experience with Advanced.
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Nick were both very responsive and helpful, and their crew was prompt, respectful and did good work.

The project ended up costing quite a bit more than our original estimate, but we added a lot of extras, which in the end turned out great. The finished room met all of our expectations and then some. Thanks Advanced!

came in originally to do some framing on our home which had sustained significant damage due to an overflowing bathroom sink which flooded a guest bedroom/bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room and living room.

's knowledge of all things construction was impressive. He and his team ended up expanding our kitchen, guest bedroom, guest bathroom, as well as remodeling the dining room/living room and master bedroom. He showed us how we could get the vaulted ceiling look we wanted in the kitchen, guest bedroom, and great room. Because the damage was more serious and extensive than we had originally realized, most of the interior walls in the north end of our home had to be replaced.

's work was impeccable -- always better than we had expected (for example -- he used 2 x 6's rather than 2 x 4s to give the house more stability.) There is no one who will do finer plaster work than

did a spectacular job on the exterior remodel of our home. They were happy to answer any of our questions regarding the project. They came out and gave us an estimate for the job, which was very reasonable. They showed up on time and no matter how very hot it was outside, got the job quickly and professionally. The guys are very skilled and knowledgeable; I was impressed by their attention to detail and quality of work. The house looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Very nice and polite people. I would recommend his company to any of my friends. Thank you, Brigda.

There are painters and there are craftsmen who paint.
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew are the craftsmen who paint. My husband and I are thrilled with the results of our job. We have lived in our house for 24 years, had it painted several times since, and this is undoubtedly the best that it has ever looked.
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
told me that our house would be the best looking on the street and he was right. The care with which his painters treated our house, its surroundings and our belongings was exceptional. The exterior crew was very thorough...each plant surrounding the house was individually wrapped to for protection. The guys dug a small trench around the house to make sure that the paint went below the level of the dirt. They took the old cracked paint down to the bare wood and stucco in places. Their patching was meticulous and they didn?t miss a thing. Many years ago, we had updated the electrical box on the side of the house and the old electric meter had been removed from inside its metal frame. This left the large concave metal frame that was inset into the stucco wall, which was an eyesore. Previous painters had just painted around the problem, but not

? crew. The old frame was removed from inside the wall, the large hole was patched and the stucco repaired so that now, you cannot tell that there was ever anything there. There were a couple of bricks near the driveway that had been knocked loose and when I came home one day they had been repaired. The attention to detail is very much appreciated...this company knows how to please their clients. When the exterior work was finished and it was time to switch to painting the interior, I was sorry to see the outside crew leave. The next workday, the interior crew arrived on time and immediately proceeded to take great care in moving our items, covering and masking everything. They were just as nice and professional as the exterior crew. Like the exterior crew, they took the time to unscrew and remove everything from the walls...(unlike most painters that we?ve experienced, who tend to paint around them). Late one afternoon after painting one wall in the living room, we realized that the color was wrong. The guys didn?t think a thing of it, stopped painting the walls, finished up with some other work and came back the next day with the new paint selection. Everything was done cheerfully and exactly as we wanted. Our house looks great...inside and out!!

I spoke to
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
initially and he set up a time to come out and meet with me. His estimate was very detailed and he was able to complete the work in less time than I had anticipated. He was very courteous and gave me as many options as he could, which was tricky considering that our siding is quite old and we couldn't afford to replace the entire exterior, just to repair the damaged pieces. Some of the work involved being on our neighbors property and he was very respectful and worked quickly. Also, he was able to take pieces of siding that weren't completely damaged from our home and use them to replace the warped sections. I really appreciated that he was trying to do the best work he could, using what we had, instead of charging use for additional materials! The only thing that was odd was that after he left I noticed he had left several pieces of siding on our porch. However, I'm just putting it in the shed and believing that he was nice enough to leave the extra in case we ever need to replace it again. I was just surprised that he didn't mention anything to me. I would recommend
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
to anyone who needs siding done. We had a good experience with him.

Great Service, clean up, attention to detail, worked with existing tenants regarding entering units. Not one complaint, only praise for their great work. What a difference! Rented vacant unit for considerably more than before. No one complains about rent increases when the place now looks so great and the dual glazed windows make such a difference for sound abatement and heating and A/C savings. Everyone is happy. Also gave me great referrals for a gutter installer and scaffolding company that gave me his discount (I needed the scaffolding was for a different job).

and his crew were great to work with. He came and gave us a detailed estimate, was always punctual, and easy to get a hold of. I knew nothing about roofs and he made me feel very comfortable, explaining everything about materials and the whole process, bringing me color samples and referring me to websites that had product info. The roof was removed and replaced in three days. The crew was contentious and protected our garden with tarps so as not to get debris everywhere. There was a little bit of debris that ended up around the building, but very minimal for a job of this kind. The roof looks beautiful and has a 5 year labor guarantee!

The overall quality of their work was very good. There were a few small aspects that failed my wife's extremely demanding criteria, but
Los Angeles Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
was true to his word that the job was not done until we were satisfied. Overall, despite these things this was the best remodeling/construction experience we've ever had.
