out the work on the ceiling and confirm that it was what I had envisioned. When the project began, there were some initial obstacles encountered - namely, a truss had to be cut to make room for the skylight opening. 

was resourceful in building two additional trusses flanking the skylight so that the original truss could be cut without causing any structural weaknesses in the roof.  I carefully examined the work as it progressed.  It was very thoughtful, well planned, and well executed. The job was completed just a few days ago.  Because of the truss issue, the job took some additional work, materials, and time.  The additional charges were again very reasonable.  The additional time did not bother me - it was clear that the job was being done carefully, and that

and his team were making daily progress.  I know that he has other jobs going on, but that did not distract him from making this project move along efficiently.  I really appreciated that. The skylight has greatly improved the whole atmosphere of our house.  I am happy when I see the sunlight in the morning.  At night, the reflected light from the fluorescents within the skylight opening has a simply beautiful quality (I am picky about these things).  The whole family is already getting a lot more use out of what was once a pretty depressing room. "It went horribly wrong. We initially contacted them in November 2010 for the repairs. They came out pretty quickly to take care of the leaky roof, but everything else took months to fix. When they finally returned to fix the interior where the leak was (2 months later) they did a bad patch up job. They didn't even use the same color paint to cover the ...more ruined drywall. It took them another 2 months to come out to fix the fence. When they did they promised us that they would replace the broken pieces with treated and matching wood to the rest of the fence and would be back 2 days later to do it. A week later they came out and slapped up a piece of wood that is not the same type, color or finish as the rest of the fence. They also refused to fix the wood on the broken garage door, telling us we would have to pay $225 for that repair (a job that a handyman could do with a drill and a couple of screws for less then $50 most likely). I would not recommend this contractor. Taking almost 5 months to fix problems that stemmed from their original workmanship and in the meantime not returning phone calls and being rude to the client proves them to be unprofessional."
