Moving reviews in Los Angeles

They were on time, very friendly and very efficient. I have recommended them already to at least three other people I know who are in the process of purchasing homes or

. I have even recommended them to my realtor as a company that can be trusted when his clients ask if he knows of a good moving company.

It didn't go well at all. First of all there was no contract. Secondly, on
Los Angeles Movers Provider Name Locked
30, I was told to find my own storage facility when I had been told that my possessions would be placed in Diversified's storage. This was a last minute change which I didn't appreciate and an added expense. The packers came on 7/30/14 and packed my books which is what I wanted them to do. In addition, they packed my medication which I told them not to pack. Regarding my clothes, I was told that the movers would use a wardrobe box the next day & would wrap the framed art on the walls. Pat was the lead packer and she showed me a piece of paper w/the number of boxes used. I wasn't given an invoice. The movers came the next day and they did an incomplete job. They didn't pack my clothes in the wardrobe or put my shoes at the bottom of the wardrobe. They left a piece of framed art on the wall meaning they forgot to take it. The bottom trim of my dresser was detached from the dresser and not reported to me. I only saw this when the dresser was put in storage. After my items were moved to the storage facility, I asked the lead mover about returning to my home to get my clothes and a bookcase and he said we'll have to charge you overtime. I was charged overtime because of the hour the movers took for lunch. I don't believe that the consumer is responsible to pay for lunch time. While the movers were putting my items in storage, I saw that they had not used shrink wrap on several pieces of framed art or on a bookcase so I asked them to shrink wrap these items. I don't know if they did a good or bad job of packing the storage locker. I had to rent a second storage locker because there wasn't enough room in the first locker. The lead mover asked for my credit card information which I gave him and he gave the information over the phone. I called the owner of the company to express my displeasure about the way the movers treated my possessions and that they didn't take everything to storage. Upon my return home, three friends came over and we spent about 6 hours moving the remaining items from the house to the garage. This was unacceptable that we had to spend so much time to get the rest of my stuff out of my house. On Fri 8/1/14, the owner of Diversified came w/another person and packed up what we had boxed up the night before and also went inside to get a bookcase. We went to the storage facility and they placed the items in my locker. The owner asked me for my credit card information and I objected because I gave the information the day before and I didn't want to be charged twice. Then there was the issue of returning the key used to unlock the dolly. I didn't have the key & the movers were long gone by the time we realized the key was missing.

I was really fed up with the amount of work that I had to do to get the items left in the garage ready to move to storage. I found shoes, boxes of family history items, and other items of importance. I was astounded at how my possessions were treated. I'm angry that my clothes were not placed in a wardrobe. I'm upset that I had to pay for storage above and beyond what I paid for the packing and moving. Even though the owner came on Friday to pick up the items that my friends and I had packed, I'm not satisfied with the way I was treated by the movers. When I asked them to complete the job by going back to get the bookcase & clothes, they didn't want to. I wasn't given a contract stating what the packers and movers would do. The move didn't go smoothly and the packers packed items that they were told to leave alone. I was very distressed by the experience I had w/

and won't use them to move my items out of storage. It was heart wrenching to see my possessions treated poorly and that my items weren't given adequate protection as Diversified said it would provide. I sent Diversified an e-mail regarding my experience with their service and have not received a response. I want Diversified to compensate me for the cost of the storage which they said they were going to provide and to refund my money for their very poor, dismal service.

It was our first move with
Los Angeles Movers Provider Name Locked
and the agent who answered me over the phone was very professional and friendly. Moreover, he provided a quick and thorough response for every question that I have raised. The driver was also professional and personable. He is also knowledgeable when it comes to the road for he was able to avoid traffic and cut down the travel time. The work crew they have sent are careful, respectful and hard working.
Considering the fact that moving is a stressful thing, the confident movers from gave us the reassurance that they would be able to deliver a good job, which they did actually. In fact, it was the smoothest move that we ever had.

They worked very hard and quickly, didn't even take any brakes. They were courteous and didn't give me any trouble, just co-operated. For instance, after they had closed the truck up and had started to leave the condominium, I ran to the truck and asked them to move another piece of furniture I had forgotten, on the patio. They did it without any complaint. If you want to look for something to complain about, I guess you could complain that the leader of the three men didn't seem to be able to add or multiply correctly. The bill he handed me was for $100 more than the time he said he was using to charge me. I realized when I looked at the bill that it didn't make any sense but I decided to let them have the $100 as a bonus, since they had worked so hard. Two days later, I get a call from someone at their office telling me that I had been overcharged. They sent me a check for the $100. NOW THAT'S INTEGRITY.

Even on a short notice, we booked for
Los Angeles Movers Provider Name Locked
to help us move to our new 2 bedroom unit and they showed up early for work. They did all the packing, loading and unloading, while at the same time making sure our possessions go unharmed. We almost got stuck in traffic, but the driver was very resourceful and found a way for us to avoid traffic.
They did 5 hours of packing, loading and unloading; 1 hour on the road and only 15 minutes of break, then they were finish with the job. Service was worth every dime because of their efficiency and professionalism. Will always use them and recommend .

They moved my 2 bdrm + office. Team of 3 got it done with a professionalism. Their leader explained me everything- how the move will be, how to protect furniture etc. Fantastic job.

They arrived early, reviewed the entire move and estimate prior to beginning. Performed all aspects of the move professionally, i.e. prepared the rooms, doorways, etc to preclude any damage, properly protected each piece of furniture and carefully disassembling any items. They were timely, efficient, friendly and came in under budget.

Sunshine Boys is hands down the best moving company I have ever experienced. They are great over the phone, polite, kind and nice in person, prompt, on-time and fast. Every team I've had come for my moved are fast, they all speak English and just funny guys to be around. They made a stressful day of moving easy. I appreciated their hustle and positive attitude the entire time.
This most recent move was the most difficult move I've experienced because we were moving to a house on a hill. They had to do two loads AND the guys had to carry heavy boxes and furniture up a steep drive, up a set of uneven stone steps and a lot of stuff had to go up even further on the steep hillside. It was not fun, I didn't envy them and everyone was exhausted. But during the entire time

and his team had a smile on their face, a positive can-do attitude and didn't hesitate when they had to carry yet another heavy load up several flights of hilly stone steps. 9 hours later, smiles and positive attitudes were still there. You can't imagine how much of a difference it makes.
I would enthusiastically recommend Sunshine Boys Moving Co.

Two movers showed up to move the above items from my apt to my new townhouse. The distance was less than 1 mile and I was hoping they would be completed in 4 hrs as they charge by the hour. The two individuals who showed up were extremely polite, professional and careful with my items. They brought blankets, tape and a fabulous moving dolly. They were able to move my very heavy office hutch from my loft, down a circular staircase without breaking anything. They showed up 30 min early and refused to take a break until they were done. I offered them a water and diet coke which they politely refused until they were done with their job. They offered suggestions wrt to ensuring I wouldn't damage my floors and walls. Prior to my move, I was able to email and call management to ask any questions I had regarding price and arrival. They patiently reviewed pricing with me several times and while I initially thought they were sort of pricey, for being bonded, insured and pleasant individuals, they were worth the money. I would highly recommend this team of movers.
