Remodeling Reviews in Los Angeles

We hired
to do a complete remodel of our
2500sq’ house. It is a 1926 duplex that we wished to convert into a single
family house, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a beautiful 400+ sq’ kitchen and new
I interviewed 4 contractors from Angie’s List. I actually
liked them all, but
stood out for us. We simply felt we could trust him. I
work full time so I cannot micromanage this. I needed someone I could trust to
do right by us and not look to cut corners. This is our first construction
project, so we were wary of contracts and loop holes and ambiguous language.
Since I have a few friends who did home construction projects I asked them to
help me review the paperwork. They were very impressed with the detail and
structure of the proposal.
We started May 1st and we are almost done with stage
1. I forgot to mention that we insisted on living in the home during the entire
project! While everyone warned not to do so, we are quite happy we did it.
’s subcontractors have been clean, meticulous and very friendly with us
and our family. You can clearly see quality of work and the subs always go the
extra mile to make sure things are done right the first time.
I will update the review as I go along and hope to attach
pictures as well.

The 3D design was no better than what I could have done in 5 minutes.
Most of the time, they just tried to sell us on a very expensive
bathroom remodel. (i.e., we paid $50 to get a quote). When we turned
them down, they came back with a much lower price (i.e., they were
initially trying to way overcharge).

Remodeling reviews in Los Angeles

I’ll start off by saying that my partner and I purchased our
home five years ago, very well knowing that it was a MAJOR fixer-upper.
Nothing-but-dirt front yard, asphalted backyard, old plumbing, old electrical,
and a leaky roof, just to mention a few of the issues we knew of. Over the past
five years we’ve worked with at least three different “contractors,” always
friends of friends, or referrals of coworkers, that we chose because we were
always choosing the lowest priced bid.
Then we finally came to meet Essi from
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked

while getting bids for our bathroom remodel. From the beginning, the
professionalism demonstrated by Essi was very much appreciated, and his
courteous manner in handling all of our issues and questions was absolutely
impeccable. It was a breath of fresh air to meet a REAL contractor that stood
behind what he said. In the past we had always received bids from other
“contractors” that would change constantly throughout the construction process
of whatever project they were working on at the time. Essi gave us a firm bid
and stuck to it the entire time, working within our budget to achieve the
bathroom of our dreams. Although this was not the lowest bid, his extensive
knowledge and very evident experience in remodels won us over. We have learned
that in this home repair/renovation business, the saying that you get what you
pay for is truer than ever.
A full bathroom remodel that included demo, framing,
extensive tilework, plumbing, electrical, painting and all the perfect finishing
touches was done with so much care and detail that both my partner and I were
blown away by how easy and painless the entire process was from beginning to
end. Essi took care of all the details, kept us in the loop on the progress and
informed us of all timelines. They were very careful to work around our home
and made sure to tape and seal everything up to keep the dust from flying all
over the place, which we were very happy about. The design choices we had
previously made were enhanced GREATLY with Essi’s recommendations and in the
end we got a bathroom that I could literally die in. It’s GORGEOUS, functional
and absolutely a pleasure to use – which we do every single day.
We have already begun other jobs with Essi around the house
and will DEFINITELY be recommending him and

to all of our
friends and family for their remodeling needs.

Pretty terrible all the way around. Unprofessional moody foreman,
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
subcontractors, bad workmanship. Started in August of 2006, and what was supposed to be a 2-3 month job took over 6 months. A nightmare to go through the winter eating off a 2 burner hotplate in our garage.
The counter tops had to come out 3 times. The first time they tried to

them up with a car
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
of all things!! Almost ruined our new marble floors, and to this day there are stress cracks in them. By the 3rd time of getting the counters wrong, we had them back out the fee so we could order and install them ourselves separately.
The Orthodox Jewish owner was nice, but he was absent most of the time. I would have to sum it up by saying these guys were the "Wise Men of Helm" for kitchen remodeling!

We just bought a house and my wife and I had been looking for a trustworthy contractor to remodel our kitchen and do some general improvements before we moved in -- first let me say, we interviewed about 7 different contractors from Angie's List and from the moment we met Mikey, we felt not only extremely comfortable with his proposal but the end result was absolutely stunning. To start, we desperately wanted to open up our kitchen to give it that open concept, this portion of the job was A MUST HAVE for us. We thought it would be especially difficult because it was a 2 story house but Mikey worked with us to make this dream a reality. Removing the wall demanded specific engineering and architectural plans that needed to be approved by the city -- all of which Mikey and his team took care of. He worked with the city and was very meticulous about every detail to make sure that not only the wall removal was safe, but it passed with flying colors with the city. We ran into a small hiccup when they opened up the ceiling and the city told us that the upstairs plumbing wasn't quite up to code -- Mikey and his team went ahead and immediately took care of the problem for us, no questions asked -- this set us a back a 2 days, but it was one of those unexpected things you couldn't control (who can see through walls??), but it all worked out fine in the end and this minor issue was resolved.
The custom cabinets that Mikey had put in were top-notch. We chose white shaker cabinets with white caesarstone with a waterfall island and grey glass subway tiles -- very modern and clean -- everyone who has come into our house can't stop talking about it. Mikey also installed all of our new appliances for us. We had recessed

lights put in throughout the kitchen in addition to our adjoining family room as well. The family room was phase 2 of our project -- in addition to the recessed lights, we wanted to redo an old fireplace to make it look more modern and clean so we can also hang our flatscreen. Mikey's team framed up the wall, installed the new tile/rock that we bought, hung the tv (in addition to running all the wires for the electrical and television to another room), installed new in-wall speakers (that he supplied!) for surround sound and painted.
In the end, Mikey was able to give us our dream kitchen and more. More importantly, he met an insane deadline for us. We bought our house at the end of May but we weren't moving in till

and asked that he can be done with everything by the time we moved in. Not only did he meet our deadline, but he surpassed it.
In the future, we plan on redoing the hardwood floors, building a deck outside and redoing a few of the bathrooms in our house. This will be done over time obviously but it's good to know we don't have to go shopping for another contractor. Would DEFINITELY recommend Mikey and his team.

Essi and his company,
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, were fantastic. He had to coordinate a lot of different vendors in order to have our bathrooms re-tiled and although there were inevitable issues that arose, Essi was always quick to inform us what was going on, and most importantly, to resolve whatever the issues were. He provided us with a time estimate for the work to be done that was accurate and he was present at our place constantly to supervise the actual work. We would strongly recommend Essi and

to anyone looking to have work done.

It was an unbelievable experience.
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Osovski, our contractor and the owner of the company is a great guy. Easy to work with, he has a wonderful way of guiding the client through the planning process .
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was amazingly thorough. He was patient with us when we had to delay the project. His experience allows him to come up with clever solutions to construction challenges. Our project ended in a bathroom that is beyond beautiful and functional.
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is more than an ordinary contractor, thus the cost to hire him is above the average. It was worth every penny.
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
not only knows how to organize and orchestrate a project. He advises on materials and colors and saves the cost of hiring a designer. He suggests where to go to buy what you need. As the project progresses, he gives the owner homework to buy materials, but guides you in choosing fixtures, finishes, tile, paint and even picking furniture. It cuts all the anxiety. You can leave the little details to
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
as he is so experienced, he knows how high to make a shower seat, he knows how many drawers are needed in a vanity, he knows where towel bars should go, etc.

smartly insisted that we begin the project only after everything we needed was delivered to the site. He was there almost daily to supervise construction from beginning to end. And his workers are totally professional. They work quietly and are extremely polite. They laid down sturdy cardboard on all the floors leading to the bathroom and protected our entire home from dust. I have never seen such thorough preparation on a construction site. The workers were all hard-working perfectionists like
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. Everything was done perfectly from tiling to painting. The workers were gentlemen and were always there on time as was

The project was on time and on budget. Also, we came up with a long list of minor improvements we needed in our home and
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
tackled them all from adding an attic fan, to redirecting water runoff from the AC, to fixing lights that were burnt out to making a more attractive access panel for another bathroom, to securing a leaning fence.
I can't wait to work on another project with

I contacted this company based on the reviews found on Angie's List. They were quite fast to respond to my inquiry and came to give me an estimate in a very timely manner.
They showed up on time and went straight to work. All very skilled, experienced and professional. I would recommend this company and plan to contact them for future home improvement projects. The do all types of work for your house not just water heaters.

from The

Group. As one of the top Real Estate agents in the Hollywood Hills, I have seen a lot of very expensive homes, with high quality details and custom work. Yaron, from
Los Angeles Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
started working on my

sliding doors, and after seeing the quality of his work and professionalism, I decided to contract him to work on the rest on my house. Everything he did for me was custom and entailed a lot of details. I would refer Yaron to everyone. He has been the best contractor I have encountered so far. I have dealt with many contractors who I had to fire due to their lack of vision and work ethic, but Yaron really delivered. He finished the job on time and I never really had a problem with him; he has a great attitude. He also contributed with a lot of the design ideas, which is always a plus. In the end, I have the house of my dreams which makes me a very happy costumer. Yaron did such a great job, that my house will be featured in the
