" came over the same day I called and meticulously went through what I needed. He has a very extensive order sheet for his staff that clearly lays out what will be done. Mr. was very clear about what would happen and what the cost would be. There were no charges. The job was set up right when I was talking to him and he stuck to the dates. Mr. brings his staff with him and supervises them. I felt comfortable with him at the house. Mr. is very good about communicating with you on when they are coming and what all the day will progress like. The house and windows are spotless and my family belongings have been carefully cleaned. The staff were really nice and very hard workers. The job took a day and a half and there was a lot of work to do."

to do the heavy cleaning for me. and were quick, efficient and thorough,
even though they had to work around my knickknacks, and disorganization.
It's too pricey for me to make it a regular thing, but I will probably use them occasionally."

"This is an updated report:
We are preparing our home to be sold. We have had the floors redone and the home painted, which has resulted in a thin of dust covering many areas of the house. Not grim haunted house dust, but the dust one gets from redoing floors and the sanding that comes with painting. In an effort to get this dust out of the house we called . They obviously have a great many rules—including one that says that they do not clean on the day of a job estimate, which is done in person. Despite this, and because I pleaded that we really needed to make a deadline, they agreed to clean our house the next day per the approval of , who would come first and give us an estimate. showed up and very soon broke a small item on a cabinet door while trying to look in the cabinet. While this was irritating, I realized (and soon told ) that he had done us a favor. The mistake he made (pulling on the door rather than sliding it) would have been made by others attending an open house. I told him we would simply remove the doors (which we did while he was here). We looked through the house and at the end, told me that he thought the final price might go higher than the estimate. I told him that this was not an issue. confirmed our appointment and then went back to the office "to get the details to the crews."
Then the phone rang about an hour later. The woman on the other end of the phone informed me that would not be cleaning our home. Why? Well it would take too long, they said, and the maids have children and need to get home.
Okay. Fine. Can they come for part of the time?
Apparently not.
Can they break the work over two days?
So sorry.
If we can't do it today, when could we do it?
Apparently, never... "So we just won't be able to accommodate you." Most of my questions were actually answered in that form of irritating double-talk that doesn't actually address the question. At this point I began to believe that the REAL reason was that when broke the cabinet door hardware, the job was over. Maybe there was another reason, but the bottom line was that they said they could do the service. said they could do the service, but they pulled out. Cold feet. No offer to shift the day. No asking if we could only do part of the house today and another part another day. Just "NO". For us, we had to immediately scramble to find another service and a delay in getting our house on the . My wife actually had to cancel a trip for my son's Spring Break to deal with this.
After posting the original review, I was contacted by Maid. They have bent over backwards to try to repair the relationship, including some very generous offers to clean the house. I am not sure it is fair for me to alter the review based on discounts, etc. that didn't apply to the job, but it is apparent that they do very much care about customer satisfaction and their reputation. What I have done is deleted the service grades and placed instead a rating of N/A. For future customers, I would recommend making sure you contacting Maid a DAYS in advance of the cleaning you need done. If you seem to be getting the run-around, very patiently explain exactly what you need, and if needed, ask to speak to the owner. When an estimate is being performed, understand that anything possibly added with a comment like, "sure, it would be great to clean that if there is time," could possibly result in the entire job being so big that it could push your cleaning date. The estimating process is precise, so knowing exactly what should or shouldn't be done is important. I've never seen a property that has been cleaned by Maid, but I am sure that there crews do excellent work or they would not have the ratings they do have. If they do cleaning for us, i will post a review based on the service. "

"Though this was my second call to , the woman I spoke with insisted MM had never been here before. When the estimator came out, his initial price was over $500.00. When I heard that, I asked that his crew only vacuum and clean my floors, clean the bathrooms and my kitchen. Even with only those services being performed, the price was still $350.00 -- way too expensive for the amount of work involved. One of the three people who came to clean remembered that she had been here the year before. And while the jobs performed were done well, again, the price was over-the-top expensive. My home is approximately 4,000 square feet. I have 5 bathrooms. They sent over a crew of four people. They were here two hours. No more. No less."

"I purchased a voucher for half off a house cleaning with , using one of those coupon sites. I planned to use it the day before my daughter's first birthday party, so I didn't have to cook and clean and watch a baby.
The Good:
The substitute cleaner was prompt, sweet, and tolerated my barky dog and curious baby. She also cleaned around the extended family who showed up in the middle of her cleaning. (They moved from room to room, but still it was probably annoying to have to herd them). She was initially open to using my natural cleaners and was very nice overall. The accounts manager (?) to whom I spoke a few days after the cleaning, Mr. A, was also polite, listened to my whole complaint, and did apologize.
The Bad:
The cleaning wasn't all that thorough. I had asked for all the cobwebs to be cleaned; they weren't. The 'mopping' that they do consists of spraying cleanser on the floor and then wiping it up with a towel-mop thing. I was picking clumps of pet hair and leaves out of the corners of the rooms all night. The cleaner was unaccustomed to the amount of elbow grease required to use natural cleansers and begged to use Ajax on my shower. (I let her because she was so damned nice). In all, she spent only 2 hours cleaning my 1500 square foot home which really isn't enough time to do a very good job. I don't think much beyond the absolute basics was done. (Yes, I should have done a walk through but I was putting the baby down for a nap when she left so I didn't end up seeing her out.)
The Truly Annoying:
Their inflexible adherence to policies and lack of concern for individual details. The person who scheduled my cleaning said that my 'cleaning appointment is from 11 to 1' which me to believe it began at 11 and ended at 1. So when 11:15 rolled around and no one had showed or called, I called the . Their number was disconnected. I called the voucher issuer who also couldn't contact them and they offered me a refund. THEN about 30 minutes later someone from called to say the cleaner was running late; I must admit that I yelled a little and that person arranged for another cleaner to come immediately. But the voucher issuer wouldn't rescind the cancellation, won't honor the coupon price and I'm stuck paying $130 for a cleaning that I would value around $60. Additionally, when I responded to their email invoice outlining my concerns over the price and the quality of the cleaning, I was told that I needed to complain within 24 hours of the cleaning in order for any corrections to be made. This policy is not stated anywhere on their website, nor was it provided when I scheduled the appointment. Regardless, I wasn't seeking corrections, but I question how it's good business to have such a limited policy without actually informing the customers?"

"It was okay, but not great. The price was good. There were some things that were not cleaned well. I have stainless steel and somebody cleaned the microwave hood with something abrasive so it is now very scratched. I'm not sure what I can do about it. I didn't notice it when they were here. I might use them again but I?m not sure."

"I've used them for 3 years and I just recently retired so fired them as I want to do it myself for a while to see how that goes. It was a standard figure, $136 every week. It was okay. A cleaning service like that one can't expect to do the same job they do themselves. It wasn't great, but it wasn't awful. Two people come and do the work. I wasn't here when they came because they had a key. They worked satisfactorily. Anytime there was an issue they were very responsive. We had agreed on a time frame so that they would be done while I got from work, but frequently they were leaving when I got here and sometimes they didn't come until I got home and then I would leave. I would not use them again in the future, not because I didn't like them, it's because of other reasons. "

"I called on a Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment for that afternoon. I liked the option of Saturday service and paying by credit card. The two cleaners arrived right on time and were very thorough. I did feel I had to be very specific about what I wanted, but that's the norm for house cleaning services anyway. Plus it was fine because the team were good listeners/communicators."

"All in all i think it went very well.I saw them on angies list.I gave them a call.They speak both english and spanish very well.I showed them the house.They gave me a price.And they came the very next day and got started.It took them about 8-hour's from top to bottom.But now the house is ready to be rented.Yes i would hire them again.They are very hard worker's."
